How will you locate friends whilst driving?

 

On the 360 you obivously have your friends list from there you can use the map function? But you don't have an online friends list on your computer so how will you find your friends?

 

The only thing I can see them doing is have a search function on the map for players.. BTW I Havn't played open beta so if they resolved the issuse there please fill me in..

 

This brings me to another point, TDU on the computer won't be the same if you can't talk to people? What are your views on that?

well buying a 360 for 400€ or buying a game for 45€ is a big difference , i dont know how we will locate friends, but the voice thing is pretty workable with TS or ventrillo servers

Guys i dont think u understoodwhat he meant.

 

Heres what i think he meant. On the xbox when u go onto your map and see the red cars on the map, and you wanted to find a certain person on your friends list, you use the friends filter right? well on the pc , you dont have a friends list so the friends filter will therefor be useless.

 

I think theyll just add a friends list, not hard todo.

The last online game I played on the PC (Age of Empires 2, a long long time ago) you could search for the other persons IP adress. Can they do that with this game?

Probably a friends list will be added to the PC version. And besides, the PC has the blessing of free applications.

TeamSpeak/Ventrilo/Skype/Gizmo/GoogleTalk etc. for talking, and MSN/Yahoo!(I don't see anyone using this anymore)/ICQ(Or this...)/AIM/IRC etc. for chatting.

You can search for your friends there will be a search with lot of filters its like an advance search and there will be chat for sure and voice ,, and for the worst as IniX said you have hell load of free applications.
