Black 'n' White Blowout!

So. This is a new form of racing. Well... it's not THAT big a change from ordinary racing, but instead of regular racing this is a teamsport.

Two teams. Various cars needed.

So this'll be a versus-match with one type of car on one side and another on the other. Two teams of four on each will go head to head. Points given from 8 till 1 and in the end, a winning team will be crowned.

I am sure we can find some even teams. And yes. The Saleen head to head against the F1 GT might seem a bit unfair, but remember. This is a team effort. So while Slacky and Nipper might be good in the Saleen, they have three team-mates they need to get to the goal-line as well.

It might even be racing with collisions enabled to make it a little more... tactical.

It'll be divided into several arch-enemies and will take place on the ever popular "Makapu's Beach Race".

First Showdown: The Italian Job

First tier: Blast from the Past

On the red team: Ferrari 250 GTO

On the white: Lamborghini Muira

Second tier: 80's Icons

On the red team: Ferrari 288 GTO

On the white team: Lamborghini Countach 25th edition

Third tier: The here and now

On the red team: Ferrari 430 Spider

On the white team: Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

Second showdown: For Queen and Kaiser

First Tier: Risen from the rubble

On the white team: Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG

On the black team: Lotus Elise R

Second tier: GT-Gunmen

On the white team: RUF RGT

On the black team: Aston Martin DB9

Third tier: Never have so few....

On the white team: Mercedes CLK GTR (Which we will hopefully have gotten by this time.)

On the black team: Maclaren F1 GT (Or whichever will be closest, when the CLK is released.

Third Showdown: "Colonial Crash-test"

First Tier: Pavement or sidewalk?

On the white team: Chrysler 300C

On the black team: Lotus Esprit

Second tier: BHP (Bloody Hell Pardner!)

On the white team: Ford GT

On the black team: Jaguar XJ 220

Third tier: Independence Withdrawn

On the white team: Saleen S7TT

On the black team: Maclaren F1 GT

The cars chosen are pretty equal, and with teams of up to four, it will never truly be down to the car, but will be more of a team-effort.

If anyone has any ideas as to make it better or more even, then by all means. Let's hear it.

Two teams. Three or four racers on each team. Various cars needed. Winners are decided by either first man across the finishline or the total of each members times added up.

On the white team: Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing

On the black team: Jaguar E-type

Third Showdown: "Colonial Crash-test"

First Tier: Pavement or sidewalk?

On the white team: Chrysler 300C

On the black team: Lotus Esprit

the E-type and the Mercedes are in a totally different league.

and the Audi RS4 would be better matched to the 300c

haha. nono.

Ok. Let see how I can make this clearer.

Each showdown consists of THREE races with two competing teams.

Hopefully four on each team. Each in the teams designated car.

For instance Me, Slacky, Lws and F430 in The ferraris against Nipper, Gamesconsole, Neil and Marc in Lambos.

Race ends:

Slacky

Nipper

Neil

Games

Marc

F430

Lws

Me

Then we go to the next.

Order shuffles:

Lws

Nipper

Slacky

Neil

Games

F430

Marc

Me

that means, that Scores are:

Slacky 8 + 6

Nipper 7 + 7

Neil 6 + 5

Games 5 + 4

Marc 4 + 2

F430 3 + 3

Lws 2 + 8

Me 1 + 1

Making it: Ferrari Team: 32 vs. 40 For Lambo team.

Then comes the last race. (430 vs. Gallardo) etc. etc.

So far there are three showdowns, so that teams can be shuffled around. I didn't plan this for set teams of four. Plus more can come around or teams can shuffle. The teams however are stuck with each other for the showdown and stuck with the opponent.

Clearer?

F430: The first number is the score after the first race. For instance the race with the 250 GT vs. the Miura.

The second number would then be for the second race. The 288 GTO vs. the Countach.

First place in all three races of "The Italian Job" would give a total of 24 points to the team, making it hard to beat but nowhere near impossible.

It's sort of like Formula 1 races over a season. Although these are just three race seasons and I thought it'd be fun to make it a team thing.

Slacky: Yes. Team effort.

Well. It can either be held on a weekend-day. Sunday afternoon / evening, as an entire Showdown requires three races on Maka'pu.

Or we can do it over the course of a week.

I'll let this be up to people.

Once we find out who is in, we'll make teams. Seven more people are needed. (As I am one) and we'll run the "Italian Job" when we get all settled.

So lets hear it. Who's up for it. When we get eight people, we'll vote on team structures and in the end flip a coin to see which team has to drive what.

So we got two full teams.

How about these teams?

Team 1

Nipper

Hybrid

Neill

Marc

Team 2

Slacky

FA430

Pheralas

Baxie

We'll have the first showdown next week. Might have to split it over two nights.

I can't monday, thursday and saturday. How about the rest of you all?
