erm, point of changing a nice sounding cars pipes in the hope that it will sound nicer??

 

why do Lambo/Fezza bother making nice sounding cars if people replace them with Tubi/Capristo/and any other crappy tuner you care to mention

Yeah I get you but a tunnel would make it all clear. ;)

 

TBH, a tunnel with a standard exhaust would sound great

 

a CaprisTubi device just doesnt sound Ferrari/Lambo enough for me, it just sounds like you average racer, not an Exotic Hypercar

 

(to me anyway, maybe my ears are broken, though im sure theyre not)

i agree with nipper lamborghini and ferrari work hard to perfect the sound of there cars. a standard lp640 sounds amazing. i agree changing a standard murcielago to a tubi because they are to quiet standard. my dads got a tubi on his and its perfect and now produces 600bhp.

so its not just me

 

besides, if you think about it, it would be terible to use everyday cos it would always sound like a 8,500RPM racer (not good for long journeys (in my experience in a Supra TT with the biggest Baked Bean Can EVER))

 

it was only 5 or so miles but it drove my insane after 45 seconds

ok, some info for you.. the guys name is ' polish adam' .. theres also a vid of him doing 219mph during this years Carbon black run. hes fast becoming a road rallying legend, but the only problem with the legends is they get banned from driving :D

 

i'm a keen follower of gumball3000 and carbon black and i can honestly tell you that most of the competitors are not posers, they're just normal guys with enough cash to spend on amazing cars. if you could see the way they treat their cars youd know what i mean. they dont just sit and pose in them, they get the crap thrashed out of them..

Listen to a stock Murcielago then listen to a Murcielago R-GT, most people change their exhausts in order to try for a raw racecar inspired sound. Also tubi exhausts are regarded as some of the best for your Ferrari.

True, though Tubis on Ferraris are recommended because they apparently seem to last longer than the Ferrari pipe. The 360 pipes usually had a shorter problem-free time than the Tubis made for the 360.

 

The pipes though Nipper are just to be different. Some people don't actually like the V8 or V12 sound, so they opt. for something different or to get more power.
