As always - database problems

Hi guys.

 

I want to re-install my TDU, but I can't due to a database problem I can't solve.

 

My order is:

 

- TDU

- Megapack

- 1.68b (full, not update)

 

After installing TDU&Megapack everything is fine.

 

After installing 1.68b everything is messed up.

 

Example: Ferrari 612 cam is Kawasaki ZX10 and I can't change. In TDUMT Ferrari 612 cam shows "default" and I can't change it.

 

Other example: all Motorbike cams change to default bike.

 

There are further car camera that change automatically after I installed 1.68b.

 

My TDU game is original and I install it in German language.

 

I know there were some language and backslash (in TDU path showing in TDUPE and TDUMT) issues, but I don't know the tricks anymore.

 

I'm sure it's just a small database issue but I can't solve it since five days.

 

I know there are newer tools, but please don't discuss that with me, I need to use TDUPE and TDUMT.

 

Could anybody please check if the order

-TDU

-mega pack

- 1.68b

is correct?

 

Do I need magic map installed?

 

If I install the game in German, what do I need to set in TDUPE and TDUMT settings?

Language German or English or doesn't matter?

 

Sorry for all the questions. I solved several problems back in 2016 but now I can't.

And I can't stop playing TDU. :rolleyes:

what I did, always before Megapack I installed the official patch 1.66.

About MagicMap, there was a version for TDU with 1.66 and Megapack and one for without Megapack.

Do not use BlingBling mod after installing 1.68b.

It's hard to find all the old files because many links are broken now.

 

I didn't know there was a 1.66 patch. I was sure the megapack (add on cars) is the 1.66a patch. :eek2:

 

So I definitely need Magic Map even using 1.68b?

I remember bling bling is included but I wasn't sure about Magic Map.

Well, here are some of the files:

 

MagicMap for TDU v. 1.66A with Megapack (old version)

MagicMap v1.1 (installer) - newer, but I don't know, if for both (w/ and w/o megapack)

 

Patch 1.66A - try this, i also have a "US Retail and Digital Distribution Patch v. 1.66A"

 

1.68B included BlingBling, but not MagicMap, imho, but not sure.

Just saw, that the US Retail and Digital Distribution Patch v. 1.66A is stil available at Atari website. :D

Hi.

 

I installed TDU, Megapack and 1.68b now and it's running fine so far.

 

I'm sure the Megapack is equal with 1.66a so there's no update after installing TDU, except Megapack.

 

Now, after installing 1.68b, I've had the same messed up database (Kawa cam on F612 and much more like this).

 

I remember Djey said, after installing 1.68b you need to se up all the physics again.

 

Can anybody confirm this issue with weird cams is "normal" after installing 1.68b?

 

I got no error messages and the database is clean.

 

I just need to trust TDU before I start installing all the car mods again.
