Suggestions for TDU 2

I think Atari should get a little more creative with TDU 2. I have a few suggestions for the game.

• People should be able to use a car's feature such as a wing/spoiler, if you press down the left thumbstick
  
• Night time {and be able to use headlights}
  
• Better music
  
• A Chevy Nova. lol
  
• Cars have their own sound
  
• Have more people in a server, such as 12
  
• Less lagging
  
• Be able to pick your own parts for tuning your vehicle
  
• Be able to customize your vehicle, so everyone would be different
  
• More bike gear
  
• More cars
  
• No more lying to us about car packs........Atari.....
  
• A little bit harder to get money
  
• Have rush hour time
  
• Rain
  
• Show how many G's you're doing
  
• Formula 1 cars?
  
• Pick different exhausts
  
• On supercharged/turbocaharged cars, have the whistling noise
  
• Sound Systems?
  
• On some muscle cars, be able to have a LOT of hp so the Front wheels will come off the ground!!!
  
• Make hardcore mode have Single Player Challenges
  
• Tuners drift better
  

• Have high tides?

  
  

So there are my suggestions for TDU 2. I would have a little more, but I would have to be bored and just randomly thinking. I appriciate you reading this.

some of those a good choices. the one about SuperCharged/turboCharged vehicles, they already have the "whistling sound". You can definitely hear the Turbo's spool up on the Skyline, Me4-12, and several others. F1 cars would be hot, but i dont think they're street legal. :D

Yeah 16 or more people would be cool, but I think it would kind of get crowded easily. Especially at the dragstrip {downtown}. Yeah F1 cars are illegal but so are the racing cars too such as the McLaren F1 GTR, and I think the ME 4-12 {just because it's not a production car}. I would like the Formula 1 cars because they are so quick turning and I love the sound they produce. Very fast. And would also be cool if there were be IHRA funny cars and dragsters somehow. I'm going to the IHRA spring nationals in Rockingham, that's why I am so hyped up. I love drag racing. Top fuel Dragsters= 4.0 @ 330 mph in a quarter mile. VERY LOUD and FAST.

I wish you could do a party system like Halo 2, where if the party leader jumps somewhere the rest of the party go there too....sometimes it's a bit frustrating. Oh, and when you pull up the GPS you shouldn't leave the server. Made that mistake a couple times.

Yeah SUV's would be fun. And something else that would be fun at first but then get old, is Having to get gas just like real life and have to use your money.

instead of having to gas up, which might become irritating, how about havign to change the cars oil after 3000 miles. in my older file, i have a Saleen S7 TT with over 3700 miles. lol its past due

I've been thinking about fuel too, i'd find it great to do that, you could also then have a sort of chat with "Joe, the friendly station mechanic" and learn about the hottest in-game trades that change everyday. Of course, they would have to add a option to shut it off: Limited/Unlimited Fuel, or even if you don't have fuel you could:

a) Get ported to the nearest gas station

b) Be Able To Keep Driving

c) (my fav.) Hitchhike with another person (online only) with voice-chat and comment on his driving (sweet, sweet payback :) ) buy gas, and get ported back/hitchhike back to your car.You could of course then get the others to pay for the hitchhiking and make sort of taxi clans i guess. :shocked:

Anyway, they'd have to add way more gas stations, seeing as i believe there is only 1?

 

I find the idea's of Drye good too, especially: - Night Time, - Rain (Promised Windshield/Headlights Atari???) and Tuners drift harder. I think that it'd be good to have early races a bit less money-making and the high-class races more money-making, to really emphasise the fact you made it, and are a bigshot.., more cities wuld be nice to go along with the beaches and mountains,but especilly no less cities, or you'd get a sort of JustCause, where 75% of the map is forest, and driving places takes eternity...

 

Tuning would be nice, but then it'd have to go in detail imo, with custom licence plates, vinyls, and dangling dice or other thing for in car decoration (maybe even odor fresheners...) and speakers, so the car would idd be a unique driving experience... :)

 

If you'd do this Atari, also include photo mode for friends, so you can take pictures of your friends cars, or give virtual money for the most beautiful car...

In TDU2 i would love to see:

• Fuel - Players would have to pay for fuel and if it ran out they would have to pay someone to run some fuel out to them, there would be a time penalty(simler to the jail time penalty), also the fuel econamy, depends on the car your diving and how high you are revving the engine, so if you get the revs below 3,000rpm on ferrari you'd go alot further than if you were going up to 7,000rpm
  
• Night Time - It has to be done, maybe the option to turn off your lights while being chased by the police, could be interesting.
  
• Speed Cameras - Have speed camera's in built up zones (e.g. The main city's and hot spots like at the top of the island by the air strip), this might be annoying, but maybe the developers make it that once in while the cameras crash and go offline, that would be cool. If you were caught speeding, you'd get to your house and see in your inbox a picture of your car from the camera, and the speed you were doing and the penalty issued.
  
• Weather - I've heard people talk about snow, I don't think that would work, but I think that rain should definatly be incorparated into the game. When it does rain they should make it so the car feels slippery.
  
• Physics - I think they should just use hardcore mode and not the origanal physics because after being in hardcore mode for 2 weeks and then going back to the normal mode, the cars felt stupid to drive.
  
• Tuning - I think the tuning is fine the way it is but more levels of tuning would be good, say level 2 tunning moves you up to D class and level 6 tuning moves you up to C class. I think they should make it so all cars can be upgraded to compete with the class above them.
  
• Cars - This depends who you are, but personally I'd like to see a few more tuner cars (Toyota Supra, Evo, Impreza, thats what I'd put in). I think there could be about 5 other muscle cars they should put in it, apart from that the cars are good, but the LP640 in it aswell(Awesome car).
  
• Houses - I thought the houses idea was great, maybe in TDU2 they could make it so that you could upgrade your garage space, like build an expansion on to it, instead of having to buy a whole new property.
  
• Damage - I'm undecided on this one, it has good points and bad points, the good points would be, it would be more realistic and would be cool, the bad point that you'd probaly get some noob in a saleen crash into at 200 billion mph and totally screw up your car every 3 seconds.
  
• Police - I think that the police chases should be much better, they are a joke offline, just accelerate away and thats it. Also the police should be online so that if your driving around with friends at speed and one cop tries to pull you over, you can split up and try and lose him.
  
• Server - They should up the player's to 12, but even in 8 person room, everyone is just talkin over each other and you can't here anythin.
  
• Server Controls - Not so much of a host, but a group vote. Say that you could all vote that everyone in that server has to drive in-car view or use manual gears and so on.
  
• Small Details - I was dissapointed to get in the enzo to see the lights not light up on the steering wheel as I built up the revs, also in the Mercades SLR, the rear spoiler doesn't come up when you brake like it does in real life, the small details make a game.
  
• Sound - Most cars sound like another car on the game and you can tell the sound file has just been copied and pasted on that car.

I know this would be hard to put this all on one disc, but it would be cool if some of things I've said were in the next game. So there's my ideas, sorry if its abit long, and if my grammer is abit crapy.

And also the SLR's wheels/brakes glow when you use them, and catch on fire to burn the dust off. Those are called Carbon-Ceramic brakes. Very good and very expensive. I [think] they cost somewhere near $10,000-$15,000. I'm not sure though. But anyway they need make the wheels glow. And nice job Ninja on that list.

About the weather...Convertibles should be able to close the roof as in if there is rain or just for fun.
