Crysis Demo

I've been past the demo but nothing happens you just hear the sounds of that Alien Scout, and thats it.

 

 

Stinger try loading the Shore multi player map it's great fun, I just spawned like 10 tornado and they were going round the map sucking up everything and there were up turned vehicles everywhere was like a film :D

 

I'll post some screens later.

I like the demo but can't get the sandbox to work, which is what i really looked forward to but oh well.

The thing is it won't install at all it will go on about insufficient privileges when i'm already log on as the admin. It's error 1303.

Yes Vista problem. Install it to another folder then manually copy each file back to the folders. A pain but that's Vista for you. :(

The amazing thing is about these screen shots is, that there are taken on High Graphics with Directx 9! And they look stunning!

 

So just imagine what they look like with Directx 10, just Google it.

I know these don't look no where near as good as Stingers and Zurious's with their all posh 8800`s :D

Well I tried to keep it to a minimum but the game has a age restriction as well.

OK the TAC gun is like a mini nuke right?

 

Well I spawned a tank last night with a Nuke gun as the main gun, and O M G.

 

It was a proper nuke :D

 

Could someone take a video of it being used on DX10 High GFX please (Stinger, Zurious) ?

Hehe my PC just about runs Crysis so I don't think it will like fraps running. :D

BTW how do you run the sandbox full screen ingame, I can't work that out?

Tried recording in Fraps on the weekend Max it is no good goes into the single digits so unplayable and slow. Will try it again but don't hope for much from me.

Yawn, seen them all last year :D And we've already played the demo :D So slow Iced keep up with the times :p

 

@ Stinger/Zurious, what about if you turn Graphics down a bit?

 

@ Stinger, to get full screen you have to go to View> And turn off some of the stuff that are on the screen. Or go to tools, if you know what I mean.

Heh yeah, I have been playing with this a lot in the MP beta, and its awesome. The nuke looks saweet on high (DX9), and there is CURRENTLY not a lot of difference between dx9 and 10 in overall quality.
