Why? If someone has an extra copy of something and doesn't mind giving you it, why not?

2. I'm not being cheap. I don't really have any desire for the megapack, but think about it. If you had the opportunity to get something for free, wouldn't you take it? Well, you probably wouldn't, but everyone else in the world would.

I can't connect either, i create an online profile, the game asks me if i wish to download a newer version of the game, i click yes, the game minimizes, opens internet explorer, and then the browser reports a problem with the link and the game crashes!

You're probably using a bad no-DVD EXE file (they always have those problems).

 

You need to download the 1.66A patch (http://www.filefront.com/8070497/Test-Drive-Unlimited-v1.66A-Patch-Download/) and install it.

 

If your'e avoiding using the DVD, use the mini-disc image to avoid online problems. You also still need a legit CD key.
