Help Me Improve My Graphics

Ok My Grpohics card isnt that bad its a Nvidia GeForce 8400GS 256MB I was wondering what i could do to get the best out of it

 

Some mopre info about the pc:

 

AMD Athlon 64X2 4400+ 2.3Ghz Dual Core

2GB Ram

160GB HDD

Just increase the graphics slowly until you get visual lag, then go back slightly. That's the best way to improve graphics.

Just to let you know, don't expect great great things from the 8400 tbh. But you might get some improvment. What settings you on currently?

No Idea what ever i installed the game on :S I will do a quick check and screenie ;)

All ive done is Put the graphic Detail from Medium to high and it looks alot better...

 

You can see a big Improvment

Does it lag though when playing?

Looks about the same to me? Only improvement I see is the tree, but you're a lot closer in the 2nd pic, so you can't really compare that?

Nope its fine, Umm it loosk better in game Speed :) So my cars can look fantastic now :O

thats odd, my system specs arent as good as yours and i run TDU at 1024x768 at high setting, AA4x and no HDR..but it runs very smooth.

Looks about the same to me? Only improvement I see is the tree, but you're a lot closer in the 2nd pic, so you can't really compare that?

 

HDR is on the second pic :p

 

Anyways, IMO you'd be better off turning on Anti-Aliasing instead of turning on HDR :)

lower the res one step and on 2xAA if possible and it'll make up for the jaggies.
