hello all and thank u for your time, i am looking to alter the ocean

now all is set and modified but the beach shore

its still bright white wile the rest is darker...

i also want to add lights on the telephone wire and street lights

Important!! only works in HDR mode

Try using Photomode, it'll show the differences you want to point out. I'm interested in a new ocean as well, thanks! :)

I have 2xAA at 1024x768 window. and get a dodgy 30fps. not bad for a geforce 6800.

but @night the beach glows....

and i want lights in the street lights

try some modified video drivers, or just different video drivers

dont forget to uninstall the last drivers first

Well I'd like a fix for that too - sure we have a night mode that makes the sky black - but you still have the sun lighting up everything - especially with HDR on.

i made this mod by my self, right now the sun is dissmised from the game...

this mod is starting in darkness the sun will come up in the morning

on the final release of the mod, first i need to fix the beach shore

and make the light's work in the street lights

but lots of work to be done, the darkness is realy cool

i only play in dark now....i cant beleave i did that btw

soon as the mod is stable i will release it...

the day mod that i have created, is better then the origional to

might do somethign with that...

anyways... is there any one out there with knowleg about the beach and the light poles?

That's good to hear you're still working on it - I've played around with those ini files too - but there's just so much tedious editing to do for them. If you do get successful with it, can you please make note of what you changed so that the same changes can be made to the HDR one (without changing everything so that there is no more HDR)?

i am working with the Weather_HDRI.ini FX.ini

ive changed everthing in the weather_hdri

when i am finished i will just save me the trouble and paste it in to

weather.ini

in the fx.ini ive just played in the occean part...

i also am working on a patch that will do the install job

ive found a .2db file, how can i see or alter the image?

I'm guessing theres images in a bnk files - so you'll need the bnk editor and dds converter thingo - don't know which file though

Do you have an updated HDR Weather.ini file for me - I've turned mine off and do like the night+mist mod quite a bit - better than the previous ones I've used - but I'd really like to turn HDR back on.
