Does anyone use the Xbox 360 Crossfire: Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows and is it any good???

 

Thought this might be better than buying a gaming controller as I can use the one I've already got

and i'm thinking of getting one of these also, because the wheel i have is the only FF one that works in the house... *humph*

True but I've already got 2 pads so I don't really need another one but on the other had it would be cheaper than this.

you could use your pad right now(if it is wired) and just download the right drivers for it. that's what my friend does. ;)

If you got the wired controller you don't need a wireless reliever. Plug in and get drivers and you are good.

Both my controllers are wireless, the plug and play charger has a usb on the end and that lets you play whilst it charges but I don't know where it is as I use the battery charging station thing as I have more than one battery.

 

So its £30 and use my existing controllers or £25 and get a wired one.

 

Just wondering if anyone used one of the recievers and if they are any good

I own one with the wirelles xbox 360 contoller for windows. It's awesome you plug it in your pc. Start the controller and you're done. You can use the controller (xbox 360 wirelles) from a very long range from the receiver. I use it to play games from my bed.

I've got one, it downloads really quickly. Never used it so I'm going to try it with rFactor and HL2 now and then let you know. Its connected okay atm.

Btw the Crossfire works for all Half Life games e.g. HL2, Gmod, HL2 EP2 etc.

You mean the wireless xbox 360 controller for windows i hope? because the crossfire is just the receiver for the signal. I can use the wireless xbox 360 controller works fine.

Stange :confused: it works on my tdu. You have to turn on the controller before you start tdu. Go to controls and then you just have to press the button for the thing you want. And it says then waiting for neutral position so you stop pressing on the button. And now you have changed one button. I hope you understand it.
