No, not Japanese, nor Mazda, only based on Mazda Familia platform. It's from the country which used Jap models for almost all of their cars at that time.

some of the studebakers looked very similar, so that through me off, but i got there in the end!

well yes you are both well on your way but not right answers, i will give a clue in a couple of hours.

 

however the constantia while being a similar car, it is not exactly a twin. notice how it is longer, it is also more luxurious. In a similar way that 7 series bmw is different to a 5 series.

 

Also i would like to know off scar, how did you come across the brewster in the first place, anyone old i have talked has never heard of it. And im still intrigued by the car.

Mazda Roadpacer AP

A CKD Holden Premier with a 13B rotary from Mazda

i knew an aussie would get this one.

 

For those who dont know. This is originally was a holden premier which was sent to japan for mazda, which put in a 13b rotary and a few of their own things. There were around 800 in existance. But they were particularly expensive and the rotary in a big car caused 27litres per 100kms. which is twice as much a current holden hsv 317kw GTS

Yeah, and most of them ended up getting crushed :| so they really are a rarity these days. Ok, a new one ;)
