lol ber in mind i paid £155 for a 80GB Ipod classic

plugged it into itunes the other day and this came up

 

its not real itune messed up

Nope i dont have this problem. Although i also have a bit off stuff thats called others but i dont know what it is.

never happened to me. and itunes does suck on windows. one time all my songs didn't play so i had to reinstall itunes. good thing my entire library was saved.

the orange bar is other files that you have stalled on your ipod in mycomputer. when you plug your ipod in open up mycomputer and your ipod should bu a removable disk. right click and select explore and that will show you wat you have on it. although you say your itunes in stuffing up so it might just be a false reading of how much "other files" you actually have. hope i could be of some help:)

It happened to my mates iPod Touch too, but it showed his 32GB iPod Touch as being a 16GB iPhone 3G and said he had used all the memory on "Other".
