  1. Hello there @Sponge, long time no indeed see. I am really happy to hear that in this time, a lot of good has happened for you, and that there is also a mini-Sponge out there too. :p Congrats on all that you have achieved, mate. On to the car, she's a belter! I do like those models of Lexus, both the previous-gen and yours. Excellent colour too, can never go wrong with silver to be honest, and the mods you got going on only improve upon an already stunning motor. So good to see you doing well and I hope we get to see more of you around these parts.
  2. Nice wee motor you got yourself @Milli. So... what mods you going to do to it? :cheeky:
  3. Wow, we really did have a lot of smilies!

March 27th Mar – Created Donate pages for non-members who may want to support the community with a donation – Implemented a Donation system for members who may too want to support the community with a donation – Members can now state a reason for editing their posts which will display under the edit notice (another one of those 'why isn't this in by default?!') 23rd Mar – Changed up functionality of Recent Posts & New Posts to work in the same way as previous setup where main forums and Mod Shop sections can show their own activity – Updated header ad to only show on main forum sections and not all over 19th Mar – Emails have been reactivated 17th Mar – Added a ‘Recent Posts’ link next to the ‘New Posts’ link instead of having it hide away in the Search block – Premium members: can upload GIF avatars 14th Mar – Implemented adverts back on community 3rd Mar – Updated 'Verified'* group permission so that they are able to vote in polls (*must have 10 posts or more) 2nd Mar – Added the other standard smilies that do not install by default (for some reason) – Added another batch of standard style smilies to an "Extended" category – Started adding a number of the popular smilies from the past to a new "Classics" category :hmmm: :mhmm: – Fixed users who were unfortunately left behind during the import and needed some of their info updated to follow the new structure that is now in use 1st Mar – Created a tabbed Activity block for both the TDU Mod Shop and TDU2 Mod Shop that shows the most recent replies, topics, and popular topics from their main* areas (*Workshop and Requests omitted) – Changed the User alerts icon to a Bell instead of a Flag
  5. @TDUZoqqer I am impressed with what I already see in the video. You clearly are making sure to pay attention to the details and the video shows this with the whole lighting options and the ability to take a look into the car. I also liked the little nod to TDU with the use of a certain vehicle. Was cool to see that brought up to date so to speak. As for everything you have listed and spoke about above, it all sounds just like what people would love to see from a game like this and your forward thinking in regards to customisation and a modern-day wrap shop is on the money too. The home ideas all sound good too and it's these sort of optional min-details that set titles apart from one another and so if you get it to work like you want, it would be great. It's going to be quite something watching how this project progresses. @Djey Haha another one?! Damn, you guys are like buses.
  6. Until I can get the Mod Template updated please remember to remove the start and end [plain][plain][...][/plain][/plain] tags from your post. Thanks.
  7. Bonus Pack 3 Out For Xbox One Xbox One players of Assetto Corsa can now breathe a sigh a relief as Bonus Pack 3 is now available for them too! Bundled in with update v1.20, the free content is one that PC players have been enjoying since December last year, and the PS4 for about a fortnight (despite some gremlins). After downloading players will be able to lap and race around Laguna Seca in all its laser-scanned glory and partake in experiencing the remarkable selection of cars included. Don't believe me, just watch this trailer from the PC release exhibit just how nuts it is that this pack has been given away for nothing. And just in case it wasn’t obvious from the video, or maybe you just couldn’t be bothered watching it, here are the cars that are added. Bonus Pack 3 – Cars Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Lamborghini Huràcan Performante Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Maserati Alfieri Concept Maserati Quattroporte Pagani Huayra BC With this looking to be the last drop of content for the title, it’s a hell of a way for developer Kunos Simulazioni to say their goodbyes. Anyone considering jumping in now should wait for the Ultimate Edition in April, though there are always promotions, so if that is too much of a wait just keep an eye out at the usual places. And don’t forget, there is also the brand new Assetto Corsa Competizione still to come later this year. Although a console version is likely quite a ways off... if there is one at all.
  8. GT Sport – February Content Update The latest content update for Gran Turismo Sport is LIVE and this time it drops in another twelve cars, a couple of new track layouts, additional GT League events, and more. As we got our thinking caps on with the initial reveal tweet from Kazunori Yamauchi, a number of our guesses turned out to be right. The ones we weren’t sure of however have been answered. Like what form the Subaru’s were going to be in: turning out as they are to be the wild WRX that attacked the Isle of Man last year, and the BRZ being a drifter favourite. In a rarity amongst games in 2018, Toyota road cars get an increase in their inventory number. As not only is the Supra Mk3 dished out but so is the awesome little MR2 GT-S; a fun but troublesome car to push hard. (if you get a chance, make sure to give it a try and you will see what I mean) GT Sport – February Update Cars Alpine A110 1600S ’72 (N100) Alpine A110 Première Édition ’17 (N300) Audi R8 4.2 FSI R tronic ‘07 (N400) De Tomaso Pantera ’71 (N300) Dodge Challenger R/T ’70 (N400) Ford Mustang Mach 1 ’71(N300) Gran Turismo F1500T-A (Gr.X) Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 ’11 (N700) Subaru WRX STI Isle of Man Time Attack Car ‘16 (Gr.X) Subaru Falken Tire / Turn 14 Distribution BRZ ’17 (Gr.X) Toyota Supra 3.0GT Turbo A ’88 (N300) Toyota MR2 GT-S ’97 (N200) Man, I hope that Pantera has a delicious sound! And oh yeah, there’s a fantasy old school formula car called the F1500T-A. [gallery link=file" columns="2" size="small-post-image" ids="7766,7767,7768,7769,7770,7771,7772,7773,7774,7775,7764,7757,7765] Apart from cars there’s…. ? GT League For the players who still like to enjoy some classic Gran Turismo play style with the GT League, there are three new events added. Stars & Stripes (Beginner League) Vision Gran Turismo Trophy (Amateur League) F1500 Championship (Professional League) In addition to these, new rounds for the Sunday Cup, Clubman Cup, Premium Sport Lounge and the Porsche Cup are in too. New Track Layouts There’s no new circuit environment this time, however, there are two new Infield layouts for the Blue Moon Speedway available, in both forward and reverse configurations. Anything else? Well, the Monza Circuit has been added to the “Circuit Experience”, ”Snow” has been added to the special featured section in Scapes, and if you want to see everything patch 1.13 entails then all the other tweaks and fixes can be found on the official update page to read at your leisure.
  9. Do what you feel is best for you mate. Have you and @Speeder talked about collaborating on the one project in some way?
  10. Haha how did I miss that! Party? o_O There is a decent enough importer provided by Xenforo along with some handy and helpful tools too. Members of the community have also created some really nice add ons that help with other additional conversions that might be wanted, some of whom have gone on to become a part of the main company itself. The hardest part of it all was actually locating the info on how to use it all. A lot of searching and my typical method of trial and error is getting me there... slowly but surely.
  11. Just be sure to show indicators/turn signals and all will be forgiven. :p
  12. @TDUZoqqer you can now edit your first post (but not the title atm) for the next 10 years as I have applied an increased 'edit limit' on that post for you. :) If you want the title edited please report it with the new title and we'll do it for you. (for now) [I]Sorry it took so long to get this for you mate. :([/I]
  13. @Speeder you can now edit your first post (but not the title atm) for the next 10 years as I have applied an increased 'edit limit' on that post for you. :) If you want the title edited please report it with the new title and we'll do it for you. (for now)
  14. Okay, that was decent. Star section is always a bit flat but they cut it down to the main parts which meant it didn't take up too much time. And there was also some really good moments of what felt like at least, genuine banter, between them too which made it feel more natural. Yeah, I enjoyed that quite a bit.
  15. Well we are 20mins in and I am well happy with what's been on. Phenomenal production as always, excellent use of sound, and some excellent moments, that even though scripted, doesn't interrupt the action that much. And a special mention to Harris who is like a stunt driver himself. [spoiler=Moment of beauty]That in-car view of Harris drifting round that truck trailer through that turn was glorious. :D Would loved to have seen it from a camera post or via a drone too. On to the star segment now...
  16. Top Gear Is Back! The new series of Top Gear starts tonight on BBC2 at 20:00 for us in the UK tonight and if the last series is anything to go by, it should be an alright watch. :) Harris, LeBlanc and Reid made for some enjoyable moments of motoring tv and this series is shaping up to be more of the same. Kind of hoping Harris tones down the 'grumpy old man' shtick, as it gets old fast, and that an improved genuine relationship forms between them. So, all I'm looking for is some good action, great visuals, awesome sounds, some top class driving, and a fair amount of banter. Should be easy, no? :p
  17. That wasn't my fault that time. Seemed to be something to do with the 'forum' sub-domain as site and others were fine.

  18. Even More Cars For GT Sport Coming In February Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi has dropped a tweet letting us know that a new content update with another 12 cars is coming next week. Like before, the posting also includes an image with silhouetted cars, but again, many of the shapes and lines are recognisable. And this time it appears that this addition will be made up of mainly road cars. Those that are clear to make out are the original shape Audi R8, Toyota Supra Mk3 (which joins its younger offering from last month), and Lamborghini Aventador. There is also a nice throw in of the old and new with the classic and modern-day Alpine A110 making appearances. Also worth noting is the potential De Tomaso Pantera, some classic US Muscle cars, and of particular interest, an open-wheeler on the bottom right. The others are open to debate, as even though their general shapes can be made out, the type is still up for debate. This update will bring the total of the planned ‘50 cars before March’ now to 37. And with March basically here, the wait to find out what the final lot will be, shouldn’t be a long one at all. Looking to this one, all eyes will be on what else might be packed in. As those that have come before haven’t only just come bearing only new metal, but also new events, new track layouts, and even whole new tracks!
  19. Slightly refreshed compared to past week that's for sure! 8)

  20. @GTAMADDOG How old is she these days? Irregardless, that is a ton of things going wrong and it sounds like it's all in the electrics which is never fun, either to find yourself or in paying someone to do it. :( That's quite funny about the mileage. Does that have to be disclosed in some way though or will that record be somewhere where the main display can be updated to its actual figure? I guess as long as the car is still enjoyable then, it's just a price to pay.... maybe.
  21. Hey there, the description of that forum includes the note: You must have 10 posts or more in order to contribute in here. This is why you are unable to post in that section. The fix is simple, reach 10 posts and wait for the hourly update job to do its thing and you will be able to make your request. Thanks.
  22. The popular ones will be coming back. Part of all the time taken was the complete clean-up and replacement of old bbcode and other items that were (and are?) rife on here. Yep, by the end of the month there will be tweaks and changes made you can be sure of that. Like I said originally though, I doubt I'll be able to cobble the same sort of things I could before as the coding standard of Xenforo is so much different to what vB was. And quite frankly, I was lucky to get by with what I did in vB. Also want to archive a lot of the older stuff so wrong info isn't taken as current.
  23. Haha yeah. I was kind of thinking it for myself a bit until I got in a groove and made progress. There has been so much done to get to this point that it's been 1) utter hell, but also 2) a hell of a learning experience. Not one I want to experience again anytime in the immediate future mind you. For now I need to take a break and let my eyes and body readjust as the work certainly took it out of me.
  24. [headline]tduck v3 - Xenforo[/headline] Many many moons ago, we started life as Test Drive Unlimited Central and not before long did we realise that name is waaaaaaaaaaayyy tttoooooo long and so it was shortened to TDU Central, which then became even shorter to TDUC where the pronunciation of Tee Dee Yoo See became shorter still to tduck. And this is where we are at today. Over the time since we first began from day one with vBulletin 3, we migrated to vBulletin 4 which was for better or worse, you decide, the next version of our community and now, a lot longer than I wanted it to be, we reach a new chapter in our history by hitting version 3 by switching over to Xenforo. This modern forum will take a bit of getting used to but it shouldn't take too long to get to grips with. It's fairly user-friendly in most cases but there will be some cases where things are different and as much as I would like to repeat what gone before, the likelihood of that happening is very remote as I am too much of an idiot to mad scientist stuff together like I could before. I'll give it a go when I can though! :) Please feel free to comment and post about issues or any other strange gremlins and or queries you may have and I will do my best to answer and sort them. There will be a number of these at the start, as even though I have went through the settings and tested certain things, it's a given there will be things I have missed. So please, if you come across something, tell me about it. Not to mention the huge amount of styling still needing done, along with user personalising and extra additional things like allowing Modders and such to have more edit time again. Many thanks! Diablo
  25. Here is where we will post about the updates and changes we make on here to either keep the software up to date, or to introduce (and try out) new features and functions. If you discover an issue with any of the below or wish to ask or suggest something, then please use the linked forums to do so. We're always willing and waiting to hear from our community. Thanks. 2018 February 28th Feb – Created a new tabbed Activity block in the forum home sidebar that shows the most recent non-Mod Shop replies, topics and popular topics 26-27th Feb – Updated the Modders group to be able to edit their threads and posts for an unlimited amount of time in the Mod Shop forums – Added ability for 'tduck team' (ie: staff) members to be able to change the edit time limit for individual posts when required – Moved all old non-important topics from the News forum to News (Archives) 22nd Feb – Went LIVE with tduck version 3 on Xenforo – Installed a media pack that supports the display of content from popular media site links automatically
