  1. Awesome Jaaaagggg and those Sagaris shots are quality!!
  2. I do love the little captions you put with your pics at times, that Reliant one I was expecting but still made me laugh! Your final shot is a real peach, the sense of speed and the brightness coupled with the low-slung pov makes for quite the stunning image imo.
  3. Very moody shots this latest batch, the colour of the Merc along with the bright rims gives a really good contrast. And I am sure you will match those Pagani shots in no time mate, you have a keen eye for sure. :p
  4. Sorry folks, neighbour and hedge-cutters don't play well with delicate broadband cables and so I was without internet for most of the week. Will take it as a (typical) extended entry period and get the poll up around the normal time.
  5. Cheers Mike and all else who have posted. :D It was a bloody good night and Scott you will be happy to know I properly adhered to the Scottish celebration methodology too. I got completely :sozzled:!! Suffering slightly for it today but not too much thankfully. Wish time would slow the hell down though. I'll be dead by the time I know it at this rate!
  6. Work, you damn nag! The internet may have went nuts due to a cyberattack earlier this week but before that, Rockstar made it go equally as ballistic with their casual drop of artwork, hinting strongly at something to do with a new ‘Red Dead’. Sticking to the typical Rockstar way of doing things, a couple of teaser images were released one after another on Sunday and Monday, then on Tuesday another image was dropped, this time with the title Red Dead Redemption 2 stamped on it, putting to rest what the next game in the series will be called. With a tentative release date set for ‘Fall 2017’ (that’s Autumn for everyone else) and text scrawled at the bottom about a trailer to come on Thursday the 20th the internet quite rightly went into a frenzy. The day of the trailer came and even though it is short and doesn’t show much about the story, we certainly got a damn good eyeful of how the game will look, and it is glorious. The previous RDR was a stunning looking game and this one will be no different in that regard. Unfortunately it looks like Rockstar enjoy angering the PC contingent of players though as the game has only been announced for PS4 and Xbox One at this time. Chances are good that there will be enhancements for the PS4 Pro and maybe we will also see something done for Microsoft’s Project Scorpio. But why ignore the PC? Optimists may think perhaps Rockstar are going to remaster the original RDR and have a complete collection out for PC a year or so after but if there is one thing known about that game it’s that it was basically cobbled together and is quite a mess, and so to redo a version for PC would be a momentous undertaking, however if there is one mob crazy enough to do so, you could easily imagine it to be Rockstar. It doesn’t take a genius to work out that the online aspect will be a huge focal point of the game either, GTA Online essentially prints money for Rockstar (as if the series doesn’t do that enough itself) and so expect to see that same sort of plan of action make its way to RDR2. And as long as the grind isn’t too much, I say, bring it on!
  7. The Crew - Police STOP! The latest expansion for The Crew is heading out on duty next month and the details on how the unlocking of police vehicles in the ‘Calling All Units’ (CAU) expansion have been set out. First and foremost is that every player will be able to do the Police prologue, providing they have done at least the original game prologue first. After completion of that the Police shop will unlock in Chicago and this is one non-buyers of the expansion will find their access to what the expansion offers stop. [caption id=attachment_5790" align="alignnone" width="800] Welcome officer. Have a free Mercedes![/caption] Owners of CAU meanwhile will be given their first police vehicle in the way of the brand new to the game Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé when they access the shop for the first time. Other pursuit models will be available to buy with both Crew Credits and Bucks. If you don’t want to use your hard-earned game currency or real-world spent cash then these vehicles can also be unlocked by completing chases. Street racers need to deliver a crate to a designated location and the police have to catch and arrest the Street Racer trying to make the delivery. A win will give the player the chance to earn a vehicle part as part of their loot; 10 parts is needed to create a Full Stock Street Racer vehicle whereas those playing as Police will need to double that and acquire 20 parts. The chances of looting a vehicle part will vary based on the difficulty of the chase (Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum). If you don’t win a part the first time, you can retry a chase as many times as you like until you do. - The Crew official site Crate chases are launched by the Street Racers, so officer gamer’s chance of grabbing a part depends on the difficulty selected by the runner. Pursuers don’t just jump in blind though, they can see what the difficulty is and therefore can choose to participate or decline the chase if they feel it isn’t of any benefit to them. Unfortunately patrolling the freeroam roads and highways isn’t possible as player-controlled Police will not be able to chase those going about their illegal business. It’s understandably to stop harassment but the fact of the matter is that there are players out there who would want this. So why not make it optional or even better, create a mode or server instance where this could be the case? The Crew ‘Calling All Units’ expansion is due out November 29th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. 8. And another one. This is less subtle and shows 7 characters. I'm not sure if I am thinking one of those hats looks familiar to the character at the end of RDR. *no spoilers please* Seen it mentioned too that Rockstar tend to do their main info drops at 3PM GMT+1 so the next 12mins could well be worth watching. Unless they aim to pad this out over the week with the reveal at the end. Red Dead Retribution could be the name too, someone found a mention of it on the official website hidden in CSS style declarations. Nope! :fp:
  9. Ooh matron!* [spoil]*Brits will get it, everyone else will be like wth are they on about?![/spoil]
  10. Okay, I will let you off this time. But don't do it again.
  11. Rockstar Red Dead-Pan Teaser Rockstar are the undisputed kings of the ‘drop it and leave’ tease with their titles, usually by the simple means of just a single image of the Rockstar logo itself in certain colours or style or with an update to their main website with the same imagery. And on this Sunday which is meant to be a day of calm and relaxation, they go ahead and show off a single image of a dark and worn Rockstar ‘R’ on a very red background in a totally dead-pan way. Making us and the rest of the gaming internet crowd think this can only mean one thing: the sequel (perhaps prequel?) to Red Dead Redemption is coming! UPDATE://1 - New image posted by Rockstar. The original game was for a lot of people the game of the last generation (though PS3 did struggle a bit more in parts), bringing an unbelievable setting, well-thought out story and giving players plenty to do and see. Often referred to as a Grand Theft Auto set in the Wild West, the gameplay mechanics did take inspiration from the GTA series but it also did a lot of things itself and introduced people to an absolute hate of Cougars they never knew they had. Riding along that vast open world on your horse, coming across bandits, strangers and finding story paths that went where you never really expected was a joy to experience and as usual, the writing and voice acting was superb. Multiplayer was also complete chaos and provided some of the best gaming scenarios and moments you could ever hope to find. Yes there was your typical modes but the real cheesecake of the online aspect was grabbing yourself a posse and just going looking for trouble or hunting it down. There was the Undead Nightmare expansion which was essentially another full game in its own right and brought a real good sense of running for your life and had you choosing when to use your guns wisely because ammo was fairly sparse. It will be a huge task to follow on from RDR but if anyone can do the sequel thing right, it is Rockstar. Had you been following news in regards to the company you may feel a bit worried that some key personnel (the Benz!) have vacated who seem integral to the success of some of their games but in reality it cannot be all down to one person can it? And the PC folks can probably be optimistic that this one will be heading to their platform this time, unlike the former. UPDATE://1 - Posted Oct 17th, 2016 @ 13:55 pm GMT
  12. Awesome wee Clio Williams, has to be dark blue with gold wheels to get the proper accolades from me though. :p That last shot takes me back to racing through caves in enthusia on the PS2. Miss that game, wish Konami would consider making a sequel.
  13. That price is unexpected but it is so good to see a developer set a cost that can be judged as being fair for the content being received in comparison to the full game. It also looks like Kunos and Porsche have a really good relationship going with one another which can only mean better things for the future hopefully. :)
  14. One of the best games I ever played, mechanics were a bit stiff in places but the living world, environment and story made for one hell of a game. Cannot wait to see this running on current-gen systems and perhaps even the PC this time.
  15. Excellent collection of entries in this one gulls! Last day or so to get an entry in remember so do so if you want to be in this one!
  16. Assetto Corsa - Porsche Pack 1 After so many months of constant teasing, general winking smilies and a blurred group shot from Marco Massarutto on his Facebook, a release for the first Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack is known!! Coming on October 25th to Steam and shortly afterwards on PS4 and Xbox One - whenever Sony and Microsoft approve it - the first of the much-anticipated Porsche packs will contain 7 top models from those of today and yesteryear. Purchasers of the pack will be able to sample in the delights of the legend that is the iconic 911, in the manner of how it is available today, to the absolutely insane 917/30 Can-Am racer. And that purchase is incredibly reasonable too, as the pack itself will set players back a respectable sum of only 6.99 EUR across all platforms. I've said this before and it's true, it would have been so easy for Kunos Simulazioni to overcharge for the pack and it is refreshing to see a developer price their content at a value more befitting of what is being provided to that of which came with the game originally. In fact they even go one step further, and are offering a Season Pack for the 3 Porsche Packs at a discounted price of only 15 EUR, a 28% saving on buying them all separately. For someone who is not a fan of DLC at stupid prices I cannot help but applaud Kunos for this approach and hope that it is hugely rewarded by the playerbase. Porsche Pack Volume 1 - Contents 911 Carrera S 935 Moby Dick 918 Spyder Cayman GT4 Clubsport 718 Cayman S 917/30 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 1974 And even for those out there who don’t buy DLC, they will still get a chance to partake in the Porsche party because of the three models that are coming for FREE. And again because of Mr Massarutto, we know that the first of these to come will be the Panamera.
  17. Is Sarah Jessica Parker driving you car? :hmmm: Awesome shots again hass, that third one with the car tackling the twisties at night is a belter!
  18. Yeah don't forget the 'Entry Post' people, we blue team are lazy and Ctrl + F to find the pics for the poll at closing time. :oook:
  19. Yeah physical is Xbox only. The PC digital gives you Play Anywhere though, meaning the one purchase gives you access to the game on both Win 10 PC and Xbox One.
  20. Forza Horizon 3 Oct 14th Update A new update has been released for Forza Horizon 3 on PC and Xbox One that includes many stability and performance improvements for the Windows 10 version. It’s been a bit of mixed bag in terms of how well the game has run on people’s machines and for those who suffered frequent slow-downs or even crashes they will be hoping that this update remedies the issues they have faced. And if it doesn’t? Well performance and stable operation is a “top priority” for Playground Games and Turn 10 so future updates may be the ‘one’ to bring the fix. Away from the technical tweaking and bug fixing there is also the introduction of new ‘Horizon Edition’ vehicles to the level-up Tombola spins, replacing the previous versions that were available. These tuned and modified versions are quite rare and offer players a chance at some easier progression due to the boost to XP, credits or skills that they come with. Other areas have been attended to also: being we are massive fans of the photo mode shots that our members share on our forums and in the Gallery, it is awesome to see that a fix from all of those mentioned below includes one for the blurry image issue that some on PC have experienced. You know if you want, it’s not a requirement or anything. :)
  21. Decided to leave the chilled out Astronaut on the moon and go with something more animalistic. :p The quality in this image is unreal and it's available in 4K too if anyone wants it for their own UHD display(s).
  22. When you see that GTR price compared to its competitors, especially the 911 GT3 RS it really does seem nuts what they are asking but I guess they know the idolisation that the car has and there must be the market for it to go this way. If I had that money and choice though, I would probably out of that list, go for the Porsche. The new BMW 5 looks real smart, still not a huge of the front completely but it is better than the last one imo.
  23. Hey there, enjoy your time on your hols, the pics can wait but not too long mind. :p Nice little excerpts along with the shots themselves too. And you are completely right, the M2 does look right in front of the house.
