That is a beautiful sight, really shows off the grandness of these monuments of nature. I love seeing pics like this but then feel despair that the beauty seen does not equate to the actuality of what is happening on the planet.

I'm one of those people who when at a great height on top of a building or cliff have the urge to jump off. It's not a wanting to end your life feeling but one of wow and the wanting to feel the thrill of doing so. Obviously base jumping is the way to go about it but the feeling is strong and those with it tend to try and get as close to the edge as possible. I searched the above before posting this and it's called 'High Place Phenomenon'. :cool:

What's the ultimate adrenaline buzz you've ever had? Nowadays when you watch things that is associated with Red Bull (those cliff-diving and air races are :nuts:) or is recorded via a GoPro camera you realise that more than likely that buzz was nothing compared to what these people do. Here we have a man who knows all about these extremes, he is called Uli Emanuele and his latest is a death-defying stunt whereby he base jumps off a cliff and essentially threads himself through the eye of a nature made rock hard needle. No, that one I can actually suspend my belief for. Key things are John being 10 in the film, like yeah that kid is NOT 10! The other is just the T-1000, and thinking how it works. It's made of some fancy metal yet can create all types of fibers and is also still a machine???? The ending section where it [spoil]freezes, explodes but then melts and joins up again to become whole[/spoil] just is too way out there for me.

After the excitement of the BTCC last week I was going into this race with not much anticipation, but from the off that changed, as the WIlliams' got a hell of a start and Hamilton proving his worth as a racer fighting to keep Bottas behind and the little back and forth between them in swapping positions. It was hard to see the Williams faltering as the race we need new winners instead of the usual to liven up the action. The small part with the rain did raise some expectation of things changing but in the end it didn't really change much, however that was more in line with Hamilton making as DC called it an 'inspired' choice to make the change to Inters when he did. Was a shame to see the Ferrari come through in 3rd as it did feel like Massa really deserved that podium. Despite this though it was a good and enjoyable race and it was especially nice to see Lewis play to the crowd and show his appreciation for their support with the almost-doughnut.

I always find it incredible how people end up creating things like this. Will be a helpful resource to those who like to break out more than just enough with their lap times.

Just finished watching Terminator 2: Judgement Day and annoyed at myself for the thoughts that were coming to my head about how stupid certain things were, and how they should have done this instead of what they actually did. Still love the film but now I have these moments of disbelief during it where I metaphorically facepalm.

Wow the 360 playerbase must be the best then. :smig:
