Lamas Photo Gallery (07-04-2014 UPDATE) McLaren P1
Eudemon replied to lamas's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Haha the Cygnet seems to almost be teasing the Aston Martin dealership. That classic Rolls Royce is a right beauty too, with the variety shown in your images it just proves that this game really does suit any and all cars. -

Went to the cinema last week with friends to watch this awesome movie while the a lot of content of the movie has not much to say, it is those irregular type of storyline, where you can't really tell what happened at every detail but I can tell you, the story itself gave me a big impact the story is a continuation from the last two movies or the Anime series (since they are almost identical) =============spoil part============================ the plot starts after Madoka changed the theory of the universe where soul gems will disappear in the end instead of turning every magical girls into witches, Homura calls this phenomenon "haname madoka" Incubators, however, wanted to observe this phenomenon, homura who appeared to be the only one who knows about this, when her soul gem is about to disappear, they isolated it from all matters ultimately, their final objective is to capture and have control over "haname madoka" on the other hand, Homura created a completely clone of the city where she met Madoka within the seal of course with her being existed in that city (since being able to see Madoka once again is her wish) after found out Incubators' conspiracy, she forced herself to turn into a witch, wanted to forever be locked in that isolated space being a witch so that she could protect Madoka her friends who have been lured into that seal, after knowing the truth, broke the enchantment so that "haname madoka" could reach her (those who have been captured by the isolated space including madoka's family and her teacher, and a new character "bebe") here comes a turning point, when everyone thought this was going to be a happy end right there Homura held the hands of Madoka who reached out to her, and again, like what Madoka did, changed the theory of the universe, but turning herself into "evil" =============spoil part end============================= These changes of mind scenes in plot really creates a big impact to the audiences As for the music, I have noticed that they have arranged few old BGMs and the songs are awesome, expecially the ending song (君の銀の庭 by kalafina) as I listen to this song right now, all the scenes come back to me in my head (memories, whoa) Here is the sad part, Homura's ending is so that Madoka will not be forever alone and will not be forgotten by everyone and Madoka's ending was to end Homura's forever loop of trying to save Madoka Both of them tried to save each other, but both endings, sadly, they can not be together Conclusion: still a sad story

Beats Studio 2013 And the old one I had is Bose AE2i This is my first time trying out a noise cancelling headphone At first I was not used to the hizz sound made by active noise cancelling but it only lasted a day, plus, if you listen to music, you won't be able to hear that sound at all (unless you turn it to very low) The battery will run around 10+hours, I am a pretty aggressive music listener and it can last around 3 days withou charging it again The other good part of having a built in battery is, it doesn't drain my iPhone's battery when playing music but drawback is once the battery power is out in the headphone, it will no longer function until I recharge it Let's talk about the most important part that caused me to buy it when putting it on, it immediately cancels around 75% of the noises sometimes when I try to sleep in the school's library I like to just put it on for a better sleep quality and when I am on a bus or somewhere with loud noises, I noticed I have 20% less volume than using my old headphone (you know when you're in a noisy place, you need to turn the volume up to hear clearer sound) what I like about my old is the surface that covers my ear I wear glasses, while the beats headphone does pretty good job on confortness than most other on-ear headphone my old bose headphone was even better Lastly, since I always have this on my neck, I can feel a lot of sights of people looking at me (those who know me in personal know that this has became my symbol, I have been having an on-ear headphone around my neck wherever I go for more than two years now)

There aren't many gaming outlets I trust more than Eurogamer and their review sums up what GT has always been about; a brilliant mess. Gran Turismo 6 review Eurogamer.net However saying this I think a 9 is too high for a game without decent sounds and damage implementation. An 8 would be fairer I think, but I can see where a 9 could come from as the driving feeling in GT is just something brilliant to experience especially with a decent wheel.

Excellent video, that looks like so much fun and as usual GT seems to get the bumps and such of the track right which is what I loved about the Nurburgring in GT4. Enjoyed seeing that 300ZX, always had a love/hate affair with that thing, it looks good (imo) and was fast but it was very tail heavy and would be a right handful on tracks with lots of sweeping turns. Lovely driving too, that dive down the inside at 1:48 was sublime, he got you on the fast straight and you certainly seemed to be having a good battle for a while after that. Ouch! Nasty hit at 3:34, lucky the damage isn't that realistic in this game. ;) Five minutes in now and you're chasing down a quick and nimble NSX, he's certainly got the legs on you but doesn't seem able to carry as much speed through the tight sweeping turns like you can. Nice hugging of the inside line into the final turn to take the win by a small margin. Would have been cool to see the replay of that race too. :D

I know PD are known to take ages with their games but come on! 205 years after the end of the world and all civilisation is a stretch too far!
-
That's more down to Microsoft's non-support for the best selling wheels though, the amount of people crying out for G25/G27 support was a fair few.

Doubt you could get a PC for $500, a $600+ PC sure. Remember a closed box such as a console can do more as it doesn't have to balance (Microsoft love this word) everything it has to do and the games are - well not at the start - optimised for the specifications and the coding can be a lot more dedicated, commonly known as 'coding to the metal'. I've seen realist PC players (not the PC Master Race) state that about a $700 machine would be needed as these guys account for everything (MB, CPU, RAM, GFX, HDD, OS etc) and not just the addition of a single Graphics card. :) Though they also feel the PS4 may require a touch more due to that whole GPGPU that will become more prevalent in the future. ************************************** In regards to Forza 5, they redid a number of the models and improved them for Horizon so I don't get the whole lack of cars deal in FM5, also I find it quite funny how Dan Greenawalt said FM5 would have "hundreds of cars". Well gee let's think.... what number would be the absolute minimum to make that statement true? Yep, 200. There's something unsettling about FM5 and the way Microsoft has made it turn out, Turn 10 must get annoyed by it too I would imagine as it's putting a spotlight of disappointment on their franchise. However when it's the boss who owns you I guess you have to tow the corporate line to the smallest microtransaction mediantransation gouging letter! For all of it though they are simply seeing how far they can screw people before they go enough!

Paul's dream was cars and speed, he died crashing in a car at high speed. Thus he died doing what he loved. If a mountaineer dies due to an avalanche do people say they didn't die doing what they love due to a sea of snow being the cause of death? Same thing here. Steve Irwin died doing what he loved and people didn't come out of the woodwork saying "but he didn't love getting stabbed in the heart by a stingray".
-
I'm not a fan of the F&F films either, I find them cheesy and I actually wanted to hear more of the F355 in the first one - as I love that car - but like you say, he seemed a genuinely nice guy and did do a lot for charity. He just seemed like the type of guy you'd want as a mate (friend!) and was well into cars.
-
He did only say that he had read it somewhere.

What? Please don't even consider this to be even remotely true.

Maybe he means a few more new cars to the series. Though you could easily counter-point that with the amount that's been removed that were added in FM4 and Horizon.

RIP Paul, he did seem a genuinely nice guy and I'm sure the many F&F fans will miss him dearly.
