  1. The Crew 5-0 510 5-0 We are two months away from The Crew ‘Calling All Units’ releasing and the details about how to go about acquiring it have been revealed. To start off, there will be a full game available just like with ‘Wild Run’ and this will be called The Crew ‘Ultimate Edition’. This will come complete with the ‘Calling All Units’ and ‘Wild Run’ expansions along with the 19 cars from the Season Pass and will be priced at a normal new release price point. For those who did not purchase the ‘Wild Run’ expansion when it released to the end of last year, there is a generous bonus where that expansion will be included as part of the cost of ‘Calling All Units’. Therefore standard game owners will get both expansions for what is basically the price of just the one. (when we say standard we mean those who have not bought 'Wild Run') A good deal! … not if you were one to purchase ‘Wild Run’. That loyalty you see is rewarded by: a discount? an exclusive item just for all of you The Crew devotees? Nope. You get a 2016 Nissan GT-R for free. This vehicle is exclusive to ‘Calling All Units’ but is available to all who play through the expansion, so in effect you get a ‘boost’ for your allegiance. Make no mistake, we are big fans of the game and the team but we will always call out actions as we see them if we feel they are either unfair or a bit stupid. Developers and publishers should be looking to how Evolution Studios conducted their post-launch support with DRIVECLUB and aim to replicate that. A little respect works both ways after all and goes a long way! The Crew 'Calling All Units' is due out on November 29th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Source: The Crew
  2. €xpan$$ion Pa$$ Forza Horizon 3 has not long been out and despite being the biggest game of the Horizon series it appears that Playground Games and co know that players are never shy of wanting (to pay for) more. Along with the multitude of car packs that will be coming and the expansions that frequent the series, environment size has always been an aspect that didn’t really get any attention. And it is something you won’t hear many players moan about either as long as there is plenty to do and see then extra areas are always welcome, and it looks like Horizon 3 is destined for bigger things. The 'Expansion Pass' looks to follow in the skidmarks of previous games. Whether this will mean more of the same off-map locations seen with the Rally Expansion for Horizon 1, Storm Island for Horizon 2 or perhaps even a new slice of Australia to explore that increases the size of the original map (store icon shows as a map of Australia with expanding arrows) can only be guessed at this time. Either way, as we said, more environment in open-world racers is always welcome and we look forward to see what route Forza Horizon 3 will follow. If they do go for adding an actual new area to the map, how would this work for players who do not have the pass or have purchased that DLC item? Maybe they just see cars driving through a barrier or something. Thinking along these lines you would have to imagine it will likely be more of the same... would very much like to be proven wrong though. One more thing… those of you with the ULTIMATE!!!! edition will not be getting this included in your purchase. You might however get a discount or you could wait until the 42 edition comes out or something. Unfortunately first-party Microsoft will always want you to pay a premium and more. 3. Bring on the threads and pics!! Hell of a start here buddy and again the colours in this game are so good and make for fabulous shots! Liking the speedboats capture too.
  4. The Evo should be crocodile green with the way it's presented in that pic. :p And an awesome Regera shot with all the different coloured lighting caressing the car.
  5. This Lamborghini Centenario Edition Xbox One S was just posted by the Senior Game Designer at Playground Games. How good does this thing look!! :drool2:
  6. mod edit:// - moved Forza Horizon 3 posts into their own thread and prefixed it. We would prefer you keep your threads title specific as this was partly the reason for going from dedicated forums to prefixes. It allows people to find the content they want fairly easily compared to having to delve into threads that may not be labelled appropriately. :) There is just so much incredible virtual automotive photography goodness around at the moment and I am thoroughly enjoying it, especially when you guys are tweaking your settings and filters to end up with such glorious shots. I am getting some serious TDU flashbacks here! :D
  7. Wow! That first pic is exceptional and the second isn't far behind either. Third pic is let down a bit by the textures but you definitely got the settings down for a photorealistic capture mate. :nods:
  8. Yeah he was quite wooden in the first run of New New Top Gear but he did show that he does have timing and range in some of his pieces. I just hope he doesn't try and 'Murica it up too much and bring in extreme easy to notice fakeness.
  9. POLL OPEN! Don't forget if you entered you MUST vote, for your entry to be valid. Excellent entries of all different flavours in this one, you guys certainly thought well about the themes and then came up with some sterling shots! :p
  10. Cheers Anders, that will help. I am a bit late today with this due to reasons. Reasons that will make reasonable sense. ENTRIES CLOSED! Please don't reply until there is a POLL OPEN comment. Actually reply all you like, it doesn't really make much difference does it? :D Poll won't be available until there is a POLL OPEN comment though.
  11. Crazy shots as usual Kelv. You've got a real good eye for exciting angles and know how to make those filters work.
  12. Nice touch with the vintage tinge of sepia colouring on the Holden images. It looks quality in that livery with those wheels!
  13. Great variety on display and I really like that second RX-7 pic.
  14. Oh man I am real fond of that top one. Bet it sounds like a right monster too.
  15. DRIVECLUB VR RELEASE The novelty can easily wear off if there is nothing much to play on your newly acquired piece of kit but it looks like PlayStation VR will not have that worry as it has been announced that DRIVECLUB VR will be a launch title. Featuring five new urban locales, which make up most of the 30 never playable before tracks, more than 80 cars, a new Tour, new modes and lots of exclusive to VR features such as the stupidly cool 'Virtual Passenger' where the player can sit in the passenger seat during replays, the simcade racer is sure to be a title that will show off the perks of VR when it releases on October 13th. With the new environments bringing the total number of track layouts to 114 there will be plenty for players to do and look at. And don’t worry normal DRIVECLUB owners as these will also be coming to your game as part of a free update. Season Pass owners continue to get great value for their money also, as those who decide to buy the game digitally will receive a small (unknown) discount on their purchase as a reward. More information on how this will work is still to come. For those who enjoy fence sitting, they will be happy to know that there will also be a free playable demo provided with the headset to help them make certain that a purchase of this game is worth their hard-earned monies. 16. Cannot wait to see what you and others (hopefully) post from this game. Bonza start with the Ute!
  17. I thought the Windows 10 version wasn't available on physical disc due to it being a 'Play Anywhere' title?
  18. As this is the {DT} here's some news about how you can win a million credits in the game! Who wants to be a Millionaire in The Crew? | | News | The Crew
  19. Yeah that's one I saw too, the setting fits all those that are parked up well, but the variety on display and on offer in this game is quite mind boggling. They really did just have fun in selecting what to put in you feel.
  20. Well the first main update for the console version has been submitted and should if all things go well be out in the next week or so. Still aiming for that September release of this update which remember, will deliver the Black Cat Country environment and add the Maserati Levante SUV to the game.
  21. Don't think that's true as the console Forza's are always running some form or another of AA. It may not be the best or smooth out all the edges but it's there.
  22. MotoGamesTV has just posted a youtube video of the game at 4K 60 fps. PC Specs: Intel Core i7 3770K @ 4.2GHz + Noctua NH-U12P SE2 MSI Z77A-GD65 (G3) G.SKILL Ripjaws X DDR3 2x8GB 1866MHz CL9 Samsung 840 Pro 256GB WD Red 3TB MSI GeForce GTX 980 TI GAMING 6GB GDDR5 (v372.90) Corsair HX 750W Windows 10 Home 64bit
  23. It's a shame these AC shots are hardly getting a look except for the frequent flyers who venture into here.
