  1. Hey Pator, beautiful work  Could you update your thread to the latest template? Thanks :)
  2. No one has been banned without reason, trust me ;) Let's keep this on topic though. :)
  3. Then they get an xbox. If Forza is xbox exclusive, and PC gamers want to try, that's their only option. And as a result, Turn 10 make money on the game and Microsoft make money on the console. There's nothing new here... I'm not talking about people who play NFS, I'm talking about people who play sims like AC, pCars, rFactor, etc. Are you really going to tell me the majority of players aren't using wheels for these titles?
  4. Then it would remain an xbox exclusive, MS stands to make more money that way. PC simmers use wheels
  5. Welcome XJ! So the limitations of UWP are showing themselves already? Great  So long as it comes eventually, because without wheel support there's very little point in bringing the series to PC.
  6. Man Ozz, this is a real work of art. :btup
  7. I guess you could call me a digital Calster, so you can guess which car I'd be most interested in* :p *if I didn't still have a massive amount of hatred of AC
  8. WRC2 was insane. Loved that game, hated it too. I was prone to falling off those cliffs more often than not  Hopefully the team will go on to do something awesome in the future, ala Eden and Ivory Tower.
  9. And you can find some leaked gameplay video here: Leaked Gameplay Video Of Forza 6 Apex | turboduck :D
  10. "high quality, innovative and commercially viable projects" So... like DriveClub and a possible sequel? Smart decision there Sony!
  11. It Almost Feels... Familiar The (likely) first leaked gameplay footage of Turn 10's upcoming free-to-play PC debut, Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, has appeared on YouTube already. The game itself is due for release this spring, so we don't have a long wait ahead, but the gameplay footage at least gives us a better idea of what we're getting for all those nonexistent monies. Well, clearly this isn't radically different from the Forza we know and love on our Xbox One. The biggest change is that this isn't a full game, but rather a game demo or tech demo that shows the power of the ForzaTech™ engine running on DirectX 12 with resolutions an Xbox would melt just at the thought of. You only have 63 cars and 6 locations to test, but this is not new information. So, what have we learned? What we do see here is that you have the advanced and customisable graphics options that PC gamers have come to expect, such as the ability to change texture quality and anti-aliasing. There appears to be a fairly good variety of cars to choose from, a little something for everyone, and some of the prettier locations in Forza such as Spa and Yas Marina. The traditional 'race - earn money - buy cars' system has been replaced with a classic unlocking system. You have to accumulate X amount of medals to unlock cars, for example 42 to unlock a Veyron Super Sport, and it can be assumed that these medals are accumulated by completing events in the Showcase Tour and Spotlight Series. However what we also see is a big orange button... On that big orange button it reads "Unlock Early". I would imagine this means you either have another points system besides medals that can be used to unlock vehicles or perhaps Microsoft have created a way to generate some cash. Instead of grinding to earn those medals, you pay a small sum of money and get instantly rewarded with the car you want. Can you fault them? Well, probably. If you're anything like me, you hate paying for things that you expected to be free, but Microsoft would just be following the trend of the successful micro-transactions model that we see in the majority of Android and iOS games. Free to play, unless you're impatient. Let us know your thoughts in the forum, how do you feel about a micro-transaction based Forza? Source: forzamotorsport.net
  12. Unless it corrupted the system partition or something like that? :hmmm:
  13. I considered that one too, but it wasn't :( My theory is that the night I left it on to finish some downloads, Windows 10 has updated and for some reason it's corrupted the hard drive to the point that it's unable to boot. So after it updated it's restarted and went straight into the Windows 7 partition (oh god I'm going to have to do that again), then I restarted and got stuck in a boot loop. Man I've had real joy with computers over the past 5 years.. I could go moan to overclockers about getting a new hard drive, but since they've already sent me a free PSU for no good reason I'll maybe not bother. :p
  14. Yup :( It's clearly Camel's fault :p Well I'm trying to install Windows 10, on attempt 2 as during the first attempt windows decided to kill one of the DVI ports and I had no signal. Not sure why the installation stopped though.
  15. PSU was fine :fp: Got the replacement connected and I was still stuck in a boot loop. Connected an old hard drive and now we're going. Ugh, hopefully my data is recoverable.
  16. Excellent :D Got my car already tuned and painted, though I'm a bit worried about being slow on the straights. Hopefully no one uses the lotus
  17. Okay guys chill, let's not have another thread turn to arguments. I don't want to have to bring out the :bh:
  18. Oh god put it back in  Yeah. I hated it too. Haven't used manual clutch since forza 4 and now I can't brake with my second finger >.< Had to swap clutch and handbrake and I can't really rev match very well
