  1. Well you can still download modded tdu cars from his dodgy website. I doubt he stops modding because he got banned here.

Since stargt didn't respect forum rules he got banned. In my eyes hes been cut some very mutch slack before he got banned, since he posted great mods i can understand and respect the choice to hold off banning him.

  2. If you mean the newest S3, yes.

The model that's in TDU2 is the S3 that still has the 3.2 liter V6 under the hood. This is the same engine the golf 5 R32 HAD.

Because of emission laws the Golf 6, was equipped with the 2.0 liter 4 cilinder TSI, just as the newest Golf 7 GTI & R.

VW was earlier with 4 cilinder engines than Audi (although it's the same company). Audi changed to 4 cilinder on the model after the facelift of the model that's in TDU2 (don't know Audi model numbers).

So Audi equipped 2 more models with the V6 3.2 liter, before switching to 4 cilinder TSI just as VW.

  3. Not bad, the Golf R will sound like the S3 whereas the GTI will be less aggressive somewhat.

Well thats just because of the exhaust system on the Golf R. But... The engines are exact the same (4 cilinder 2.0 litre TSI), the engine of the R has different ECU software that makes it a bit more powerfull. Of course it also has VW "4 motion".

Looking at the picture of your youtube channel, i guess you know the differences between a GTI and R all too well ;-)

@Phill, like your sound though. I just love the S3 & GTI but hate the sound. Gonna drive them a lot more now (still hoping someone makes a Golf 6 R mod for the GTI).

  4. Is anyone else able to change furniture in their TDUMyHouse. Whenever I select a different furniture, the game gets stuck on an infinite loading screen that is constantly trying to load up the new furniture, preventing me from going any further. The only way out is by exiting the menu, but even still, the loading circle shows up until I get into a new instance.

No problems here. Changed furniture in all my houses (20 or so).

  5. OK i think i stumbled onto the answer... this patch is NOT Steam friendly! (as it is now) :(

Steam re-packs the game when it starts, (long time to re-pack on 1st run after unpack and patch install...)

any chance next update patch could be Steam friendly?

Thanks, i actually watched and paused that video step by step to make sure i did it right.

luckily i copied my main folder for TDU2 :)

also i retested: unpack, install patch then ran game offline with universal starter and it work!

next test will be: unpack, install patch then run on line with universal starter (no Steam) an see if it works, wish me luck.

This patch is definitely compatible with the steam release of TDU2. Just be sure to stay away from the steam executable!

I'm running TDU2 Unpacked from within the steam installed folder. Having no problems since combined with the "Universal Launcher"
