  1. Toyota apparently also spoke on Twitter about being on WRC7, Project Cars 2 and GT Sport. So, doesn't seem to be exclusive license either. And i saw that on this post at GT Planet.
  2. JDM icons, no doubt. And it is fair for the journalist to really like the Evo, the T.M.E. is one of the ultimate Evo's, while the others were not. Supra was auto and tuned, RX-7 wasn't Spirit R, R34 wasn't Spec II Nür, NSX wasn't Type R or S Zero... Weirdly enough he also liked the Impreza WRX, which wasn't even a STi. Cool nonetheless, and i wish there were more reviews of such cars. :D
  3. Apparently some people asked Toyota on why they are doing this, and their reply was: "Ask Microsoft" :susp:
  4. First UCP review? :susp: Thanks HGCentral for doing it! :) Edit: Small update, just so you guys don't think i am not doing anything, but just looking at videos.
  5. Have you made a backup of your database before edit it? TDU PE sometimes removes the last value of carphysicsdata, which makes that error.
  6. Backing a bit, the Infinity vintage racer concept, i don't think they should be "collected". I think they should be raced. Imagine a vintage modern racing with cars like that one, but from different brands! And about the Z4 concept...
  7. UCP being played in japanese! Just found this on youtube.
  8. TDU1 has a value called "Drag", which prevents cars from reaching absurd speeds. That's how you can make a 7-speed G 65 AMG being unable to hit speeds higher than 240km/h.
  9. I just don't get why people seem to enjoy complain about Gran Turismo, and overlook other games flaws, or be ok with it. Seems that people use different weights to judge and balance the games. I've played Project Cars and Forza Motorsport 6, and honestly, Gran Turismo 6, which is a game from the previous gen is not really that bad in comparision with those 2. Other than graphics and sounds, everything else is on same level if not better in GT6. Dynamic weather? Present in GT5 and GT6, being added only now by Forza 7 and Project Cars 2. Animated pit stop? Being added now to Project Cars 2 and yet to be seen, present in GT since GT4. Rim change? Available in GT since GT2, still not available in Project Cars 2. Livery editor? Forza wins this one, but it's added in GT Sport and still not available in Project Cars 2. Not to mention the massive bugs Project Cars has, flawed physics in Forza and Project Cars... When i played Forza, a Prelude 91 with sport tires had a similar behaviour on the track as a 3000GT with slicks, and in Project Cars you can actually race on the rain with slick tires on... And yet, none of those things seem to bother anyone. Either way, the point is, GT Sport seems completelly new, a really change on Gran Turismo series, and i am concerned about it. Like many people, but i really won't jump on a bandwagon to judge the game based on pré-release reviews, because those are almost always, innacurate. Specially when the game recieves such a drastic change. Is it their fault? Maybe. But not entirelly. Should Polyphony then give people the full game for a pre-release review? Definetly not. Edit: I am not saying that Gran Turismo has flaws, it does. Every game has. It is just, people are always picking on Gran Turismo and ignoring the flaws of the other games, when they all should be looked equally.
  10. I beg to differ. It is not much really their fault if people jump into conclusions of a game that is not released. It is a bit of non-sense to say something will be that when you know it is not done or released. Tell me one time that press had access to the full game months before it's release? It never happened before. So, why?
  11. Apparently, there are a lot more left to be seen in GT Sport. Which sort of backs up what i have been saying, about media badly judging a game that's not final, as a final version. GT Sport Online Experience is around of 15% of total game - GT Planet
  12. Sadly it is the DB.bnk. which also has all the codes for the cars and etc. So, you can't just add the Ace level and not the rest.
  13. Probably never. But that is not the point. The point is that Project Cars always seems to not really care about consoles. It is better not release at all than do a half job at it. Imo. Lol
  14. Animated Pit Stops should be added since the first game. Because let's be honest, Gran Turismo had animated Pit Stops since Gran Turismo 4. And sadly again, the console version will look like a half-arsed version of the game with loads of less features. Such as livery "editor", and 16 players against 32 in computers.
  15. Ignore the comparision, because it's non-sense. Forza is a GT3 racing car, while GT Sport is a GT4, which means, a normal, slightly tuned. Sound of the GT-R seems very decent to my ears.
  16. And what Gran Turismo has to do with it? If it was an exclusive contract, you wouldn't see it on Project Cars 2. So yes, it does matter. Plus, anything that makes Turn 10 upset is automatically linked to Gran Turismo and they're the one to blame? It is easier to be a price matter than anything else. Toyota wanted more, Turn 10 didn't want to pay, deal is not made. Simple.
  17. Non-sense. Project Cars 2 have Toyota GT86 and others in their car list.
  18. You are clearly deaf. And also unninformed: Gran Turismo do record car sounds, always did, since GT1. And before you start to complain about the whinning noise in the BMW Z4 video, are you familiar with straight cut racing trasmissions? Let me help you with that aswell. This is how straight cut gears (Racing transmissions) sound like. Also: The sound is similar as every car reverse gear, because those, are also straight cut gears. So, really, before you say something like that, without a single base about it, make a little research before. ;)
  19. I see it the other way around though. If i was head of marketing, seeing how much games influences and helps to spread a brand name, more and more real car brands are releasing cars together with a game, i think it's bad marketing to not have your car in. I would want "my car" in the game, and i would make sure it is accuratelly reproduced, with the right colors and possible trim levels, with kits that replicate the real aftermarket kits aswell.
  20. TDU Platinum, hopefully, will be more "mod-friendly". As cars won't share "Default Rims" and neither share the cameras.
