    Its just part of the car, you can't buy a stock facelift RX7 without one of those plate mounts on the bumper, so its just how it is to me lol. Thanks mate :)

    Yeah I do... but my many surfaces are doing fine for the moment :D I've got a set of 19" 1/24 Volk RE30s- well, had a set. I wasnt going to use them, as they wont fit the models I'd like them for, like the Tamiya R34 GTR, they only seem to fit the snaploc kits, and obviously 19"s are just too large for a corolla haha- but alas, I HAD a set, because I accidently broke one a few weeks ago.. So instead, i'm painting the other 3 different colours, 1 bronze, 1 black and 1 silver. Just for display purposes, i'll have a photo up when I can, they should be finished tonight :)

    Is that a Cayman? I'm going to be REAL disapoint if it is, as thats what i've switched to LOL. The Challenger is fantastic, but not quite as fantastic as the others. I reckon I did a pretty great job of tuning it from a big heavy tail happy muscle car into a big slightly lighter grippy race car :D edit: Thanks Ryzza, you too, I was very proud to keep up with you actually lol. Cant remember, but I seem to remember I knocked you off the track or something at some stage in one of our few races? If I did, I'm sorry lol, I try to race clean but as you must know, you just have to get a little rough some times :P

    Ah right, yes- HAS been sorted, unfortunately its not mine, its Clarence's, so I cant just tune it, I have to get him to do it for me lol. The time has finally come! Now, obviously theres a LOT of photos, so i'm not going to post them all here, or my posts would be too picture heavy. I'll post what I want here, you'll have to click the link at the bottom of each set to see the rest- this isnt purely for flickr hits, as I dont really care how many hits I get there, its mostly for ease of viewing and not ruining the forum's bandwidth :P 'Hawkeye' WRX STI - A set on Flickr.     Trueno is finished! So happy. I'll get some better photos tomorrow, took these with my phone lol. The Volk/Rays stickers were a stressful pain in the ass, but theyre on and more or less all in the right spot, totally worth it, they finish the wheels off nicely :)

    Given the car i'm using, I think its understandable that i'm having those 2 in EXTREMES. Getting there though, lol. edit: that'll require a decent amount of research, IDK if anyone would be bothered looking into that for every car that they want to use lol.

    Yep, must have the forza front and rear aero, CAN not have any other aero parts like rear bumpers or sideskirts- I heard the words from Clarence's words a few hours ago when he told me.

    Pretty happy with the finish thats on them, i mean, thats a pretty bad photo, they dont really look that glossy. I'll put the stickers on tonight and get some new photos tomorrow :)

    Heres a tip guys- if you want your wheels to be 'Volk/Work bronze' (anodized IRL, but thats a little tricky with scale plastic models) in colour, first paint them Tamiya gold leaf, leave to cure for about an hour, then go over them with Tamiya smoke. PERFECT, except glossy not flat/anodized. So happy :) Will have photos up later, stickers are on, everythings finished.

    :D Thanks mate, 1 more day! I've been a little... caught up... I got Forza 2 and PGR4 yesterday. Its funny how much more fun FM2 is lol. I'll jump back on FM4 a bit later and finish the sets I have partially done though lol. Something i'm thinking about. The race didnt go too well, thats the only one I took. Still not sure whether i'll actually do it lol.

    Took an hour or so to do the decals fairly properly, pretty much just finished. Never done it before, so I think i did pretty well. A couple of fatal slips that tore the ends of 2 of the pinstripes, and the toyota sprinter trueno sticker for the bootlid tore in half when i tried to fish it out of the water lol. Other than that, they appear to be pretty straight and in the correct place. I MAY do the gauges tomorrow, I have other things planned though- not model related. edit: Just had an idea.I'll paint the wheels gold, because I was just thinking I would- but then i'll go over them with a grey transparent paint, maybe they'll come out bronzish lol. Worst case scenario they'll look off, and i'll have to strip the paint- not too bad, I have plenty of thinners and paint.

    Moar teasers! I have another set in the works right now, if I can find the right location... I know (or at least I think) you guys haven't picked on my locations before, but I get a bit self conscious about it because I only use a few circuits for photos- there are only a select few that have good, neutral and natual lighting, a lot are too bright, too dark, too yellow/brown and are impossible to shoot at- so dont hate on me using the same locations over and over, lol, its either good photos at the same tracks, or bad photos at a slightly larger variety of tracks. With that said, I think I just made my choice easier... I've shot the car before, but not exactly as is, and its rather special- one of my most favourite cars on the planet and has been for many years now.

    So my paints turned up yesterday :D Did a bunch more painting today, and basically finished the Trueno. Its all together, all painted (apart from most of the chassis, but how often am I going to look at that XD), just need to apply the decals, and the gauges to the dashboard- oh and the MINISCULE Rays Volk stickers to the TE37s! LOL thats going to be fun... The watanabes aren't going to work... lol. I thought they were all the same width, but i noticed today that theyre staggered, and the rears are quite a lot wider... Not sure how I missed it. I had to modify them a bit to fit on the axles- which then turned out to be too long, so I cut them down, only to find that then the wheels hit the inner guards. Those 2 axles were then too short to use with either the standard wheels OR the TE37s, so I just used the TE37s and the axles from the FX-GT and its fine. I'll hunt down some new axles for the FX, it can wait. I'll just keep the wat's for display only, as I dont think they'll work on a model anymore lol...     Thanks for the feedback tim :) Bit late, but that means I've extended it for another week :P FULL reveal will be this Friday instead, with many more sets (hopefully) than previously anticipated. Basically, through the bandwidth running out, playing Skyrim and catching up on my guitar playing, I got bored and uninspired with FM4tography again. But I seem to have found my groove again, with these shots over the last few days (still have to finish one set, and I have a replay from a race with Clarence that I have yet to go over as well), so enjoy ;) All cars i've been meaning to take photos of for ages again heh :)
