    lol I agree with the stupendous, stock standard size wheel offsets, they annoy the crap out of me- especially when I can make 225's fit on a standard AE86 15X5 wheel, and a lot of the bodykits are horrible- they are from Forza 2 though, they were cool back then. The massive wheels, and the bodykit and paint on the MX5 kill it for me though. And yes, the wheel selection is terrible. The wheel selection of Forza 2 is much much better, Ihave absolutely NO idea why they cut most of those wheels out... T10 HAVE killed a fair few of the cars, but- borderline 'making a complete ass of myself' I managed to make the S15 look good. Just need to think logically about how the car ACTUALLY looks, a lot of my cars dont have bodykits at all. *rushes off the make sure i'm not lying*

    Some really nice shots, some not so much, unfortunately... But the good ones, like the 3rd shot of the HKS S15 are great. And yes, you really killed the MX5, EP3 and AE86... Your understanding of 'JDM' (a term I dont like using...) seems stretched, at best.

    STILL waiting for my paints to turn up, haven't done any work to either car lol. Purchased another of each of the 4 I need, I think they should get here this or next week, drawing close to the end of my dispute with the first seller through paypal I think, so that should be good... As long as he doesnt trick them and tell them the same garbage he told me... lol.

    Yesterday, actually- I had a really positive attitude, which I havent had for a long time (sure i'm still usually positive, but not REALLY positive), and decided to start clearing the useless crap out of my room (I have 3 drawers under my bed which have been full of things that I dont use for about 7 years. Hello extra storage space), and even with the little I have done compared to the whole job, my room feels bigger and I enjoy being in it more- it is where my computer and cockpit are, so I spend a lot of time in here anyway, but it didnt feel like MY room before- now its well on its way to that feeling. Not only that, but around mid-day a mate of mine who also owns a corolla, an ae92 4 door hatch, slammed on 15x8 wheels, silvertop 20v... awesome car... anyway, he came over because we were taking his headlights apart to paint the housings black. So we did that and while they were drying we re-glued part of my spoiler back on. All the work I did -and the fact that I actually pulled an all nighter and had been up for 34 hours by the stage I went to bed- meant I was really tired, went to bed at 10:30pm- thats a whole 6 hours earlier than I normally go to bed... My sleeping pattern gets really screwed up thanks to playing online lmao... So yeah, that meant I woke up at a reasonable time, like 8am, rather than 1pm today. Feeling great :)

    I do not have pCars, nor a computer that could run pCars :D and THAT is exactly the situation- when I hear 'name some open top track cars' i go MX5, S2000, Cappucino, so... Yeah.

    That is the correct way to handle themes, as you said, you let ONE person do it and everyone else wants to do it, and the theme is then lost and chaos ensues... I just wont be entering this week lol, cant get into any of the available cars enough to get good photos.

    I love the RS4 Avant, I like the Challenge Stradale, quite like the R390, hate the Merc G SUV thing, hate the 206 rally car, hate the 1 series (real life based, I do not like the car, I prefer the prettier old model. Til M brings out an epic carbon clad version then i'll probably like it :D ). Ehhh Joss JT1... 50/50. I was just hoping for more I guess, I mean... I'm constantly disapointed with every racing game, because as you can see, i'm a fan of the FWD Corollas, so i'd love to see an AE92 Corolla GTS (not going to be unreasonable and hope for a Trueno GTZ or something, too odd, rare and Japanese) or an AE111 Trueno, but... nope.

    I'd like to add my 2 cents- would you consider cars like the Zonda R and the 599XX track day cars? Neither car can go on the road, ONLY the track. To me, that makes it a track day car. I understand that makes race cars eligible but lets all use our brains here for a sec and notice the difference between a racecar and something like an Ultima GTR, or a GT3RS, or an FXX... I just think theres too little choice, given that some cars are built FOR track days- rich folk track days, but track days none the less.

    Listening to a band that my brother recommended to me called Crossfaith. He saw them at the Sydney Soundwave (coincidence with your name Soundwave, lol) festival on the weekend, which I wanted to go to but couldnt afford. This just adds to the list of bands I would have liked to see. Theyre a Japanese metal/hardcore electronica/borderline dubstep band, and they rock hard. Vocals are very 'Atreyu', ridiculous guitar riffs, the drummer is a freaking machine and the synth effects are a welcome change to a hardcore band. Love them, if your into that sorta stuff definitly check them out and let me know what you think. I'd recommend the song 'Monolith'.

    Metallica's Black album. Listened to Load and Reload earlier. I am (apparently) one of the few that appreciates every Metallica album for what it is, I dont blame them for moving away from Thrash, it was getting old real quick so they adapted to where metal was heading. The Black album is probably my favourite, followed by Reload, THEN Master of Puppets. I even like St. Anger. :)

    Hey guys, as my signature says, I use a Fanatec 911 Turbo S, on 360- just wanted to see your ingame and wheel settings, see if perhaps SOME of the floaty feel can be fixed. I have done a little work to both settings and its not too bad, but its still pretty unpredictable and nothing really feels planted.

    Not sure if i'll enter in FM4 or Shift 2... Got right into NFS this weekend, set my fanatec up properly and fiddled with the ingame settings a bit- its really not a bad game from a driving sense, its not GT5 or Forza, and certainly not rFactor etc, but its not as bad as what I once believed. Setting the handling to Elite really helps, I never noticed it... ahaha. ANYHOO- would a completely stripped out, possibly Works converted road car from Shift 2 count, or are we talking strictly superlight track dedicated cars? edit: thats an epic shot btw Ryz

    Unpainted :D Going to leave them, basically a perfect match for the real ones. edit: Quick stancey mock up on each shell, to get a better idea of which car I want them to go on. I still think Trueno... Thoughts? I wont be putting them on that much of an angle when I actually put it together, dont worry, thats just all I could come up lol. I WILL be attempting to lower and 'stance out' them both though.

    As it turns out I probably looked like a total ass, the paint seller was off work because of Chinese New Year. Still waiting for confirmation that theyve been sent though, he assured me its all sorted... In good news though, my RS Watanabes turned up this morning and OH my god. Very good indeed. Quickly holding them in the wheel arches of the 2 cars helped me decide, they suit the Trueno much better, te37's (which havent arrived, despite buying them 2 days earlier lol) will go on the FX. HOWEVER. No photos because my internet has been slowed to pre-dialup speeds, due to reaching the bandwidth limit. I'll upload them next.

    lol it certainly is, hence why i've changed the schedule up- in that I actually made a schedule, so that its not a random smattering of sets that no one sees :) Care to let me know just what those evo shots look like, to you, on your screen? Over/under exposed, over/under contrast, too much/too little colour?
