  1. Alfa's Giulia configurator has gone online on the italian websites: http://carconfigurator.alfaromeo.com/it_IT/Giulia/
  2. Source: Forza 6: Apex open beta kicks off next week | VG247
  3. Better late than never, a 360-degree vid of the touch-down moment onboard the drone ship:
  4. For the sake of individual judgements: Bring it on, show me those ''ohhh yeah it has 4 wheels and it's red'' comments
  5. Why did that top picture make me think MR2? Maybe that pizza I had wasn't good lol...
  6. RML is doing the same with the Vulcan, and considering what happened to the FXX (I thought Edo Competition converted several Enzo's to FXX for road use) I bet the same will happen sooner or later with the FerrariTheFerrariTheFerrari. Porsche might be the odd one imo. The 918 exists as racecar-ish RSR Concept but its power output is around 100 kW less and really the only difference are the sidepipes and the fact the RSR has a fixed roof, plus that SimCity 3000 fusion plant in the passenger footwell. The fixed wing on it does look fancy though. And if the RSR is no option, Porsche has nothing else other than having somebody convert a 919 Hybrid
  7. 2/10 supposed road conversions of P1 GTR have been spotted. Some UK company is doing this, at 400K for just the conversion to get it street legal. I guess the most difficult work would be in the engine/exhaust area for a racecar, a type approval for such a limited-run vehicle usually has [Exemption] written all over it. 8. There we go, first real life pictures of Redbull's canopy:
  9. Whether it's gonna be Evolution Studios or not, more news showed up that Driveclub isn't actually dead. VG247 just reported that ESRB has rated Driveclub VR "E for Everyone". This follows the earlier post-to-the-fans by Evolution Studios that Driveclub will live on under Sony.
  10. Ok, maybe for modern times hypercars then. I was aiming at equivalents of what in my eyes the legendary row of XJ220/EB110/959/F40/Diablo were back in their days, or in that same period the C112 which didn't make it due to management error. The SLS and AMG-GT/GTS are not such cars in my opinion, by far not, they're all GT's. Or do you classify a DB9 as a true supercar too? Sportscars yes, supercars nah. They're just not the true top of the range stuff like Aventadors, the new Ford GT, the Pagani exotic-wind or the 918 and P1 for example. These are cars primarily made to go extremely fast, not to make a practicality that primarily, first and ahead of any other target must make profit and just happens to go fast. They are some sort of prestige projects like the entire Bugatti-brand is today, stuff which is developed simply to show they have the brains to do it and can build something that's very exceptional and in a league of its own. But alright, it won't happen. I also think they won't be able to pull it off anyways. And maybe they don't need it with the upcoming E63 S 4MATIC already doing claiming 3,5 seconds to 100km/h.
  11. Better get the one Piper Motorsport is doing. They are mixing the shell of a 190E with a C63 interior and powertrain and will finish the outside with an EVO II bodykit. They also document the whole build on facebook, recently they did first test-drives.
  12. Could you also teach that to AMG's chief? You know, that guy leading a division that started in motorsports and made the CLK-GTR, but who says supercars are useless for a brand because they don't deliver exposure... Though he has been giving several other excuses as well.
  13. It seems the list of criteria to buy the half a million Ford GT has been published. The more you can answer/proof ''yes'' to the following points, the more likely you are to get on the list of GT buyers: - I am/was owner of a Ford GT. - I/my company support(s) charity connected to Ford. - I am owner of a Ford vehicle. - I am a collector. - I/my company use(s) Ford vehicles for business-related activities. - I consider myself somebody who has an influence on public opinions. - I/my company am/is a supplier to Ford Motor Company. - I am a motorsport enthusiast. - I/my company am/is a strategic partner of Ford Motor Company. And if you happen to be busy anyway: - Mention a Ford Fleet number if you have one - Mention your function within your company - Tell what your car collection consists of, what its estimated total value is, and what the 3 best cars and best Ford/Lincoln are in your collection. You thought I was done, didn't you? - Shortly describe the kinds of media you use. - Give weblinks to your public platforms, such as social media, online profiles, blogs and publications. - Shortly describe the demographic characteristics of your audience, such as age, income, location, education and interests. Flaming hot hot superbonus x2 multiplier: mention what your role in motorsport is and what your personal best achievement was in motorsport. Spin the bonus reels by mentioning your motorsport license. Last but not least, you have to be able to receive your GT in one of the following countries: Source: Autovisie.nl Ofcourse you could also just wait for one to pop up at Auto Salon Singen with just 12 miles on the clock and avoid all of above :D
  14. Reminds me of Cargasm, a game that sort of looks funny and/or promising for a small title, but eventually doesn't stand a chance becoming pre-pre-pre-pre alpha. Especially when such a small team advertises with existing brands..... ye, right.
  15. That expertise was only shortly with CM in the form of Asobo Studios and that studio was shut down after its first Codies-controlled title Fuel due to poor performance on many aspects.
  16. Forgot what you just had for dinner? Or earlier this morning as breakfast? Let the Italians help you. You know, those people who are the complete true masters of design and everything they make is instant gold. The Picchio 4C. And no, that's not a Vespa competitor, they don't come with 600 hp or a pricetag of almost 300.000 euros: Also comes with a double CD/DVD storage facility on the front corners. 17. Not happy at all about this. I imagine a Driveclub 2, but with worse graphics, without cockpit/bonnet cam, without the beautiful imaginary open road courses and the DLC's taking your 30 pounds or euros to unlock a few livery sets earlier than through game completion. Though really, I see no reason to cheer just yet. Their support in the GRID days was no better than Atari's, complete with promise of eventually never released DLC's. I only remember GRID 2 having reasonable DLC content (although I believe most were pre-orders turned DLC). Personally I would go as far as including the focus on stadium fireworks for Monster Fiesta's in the bad corner but since everybody seems to love it I'll just add a big fat IMO to this one. However what I also can't forget, is that what they're doing now is similar to what they did with Asobo Studios. Can't really say they were helped much by Codemasters' involvement...
  18. Plus those were all found through old-fashion redundant steampunk machines compared to the Ferrari-esque James Webb Telescope and other new-generation space searchers. That Mike Brown mister says we should have a confirmation of the planet existing within 5 years.
  19. Speed limits on the Norschleife have been lifted :D To celebrate, have some flying mules :nods::
  20. @Diablo: its orbit is extreme yes. How extreme, is what I posted earlier:
  21. So, planet number 9 with its rumored size of 10 times Earth, was discovered by a team of scientists who studied orbits of 6 Kuiperbelt objects. The probability that their orbits were nót formed by this ninth planet was 0.007%. And now, one of the scientists announced this:  :D
  22. This car is a mash up. A non-AMG, facelift W211 body (they went out of production in 2009...) with a W212 interior (how did you get it to fit). And that facelift W211 was only available as E63 AMG, not as E55. And the W212 was only E63 or E63 S.
  23. Sad day for the maker of Motorstorm, Driveclub and more games, because Evolution Studios has been shut down by Sony. No word yet it seems on how long the servers will stay online. Source: Sony confirms closure of Evolution Studios | GamesIndustry.biz
