  1. Lots and lots of candy, and a book about Merc I wanted a lot (Daimler Chronik, 432 pages)
  2. They're not. You'll have to rely on mods for that.
  3. Glad you posted the update, I wanted to do that too but it took me too long and it was late xD The shots are fantastic, SCS is doing a great job and I like their attitude and approach to development.
  4. We NEED a modding wiki, to explain EVERYTHING. The main reason people don't mod is not just a lack of tools, but a lack of describing hów to do it, and the fact the very basics are explained still doesn't help for many detail stuff *and we know how people get complained at for a lack of details*. It would be really useful if there could be something similar to the GTA modding wiki's.
  5. You're doing a great job Reventon, very nice!
  6. Cars. I only like bikes in games like GTA and Road Rash, mainly because the peds/opponents fly off so easily and high.
  7. He's acting as if his cars are selfmade and not stolen/converted from existing models, yet I think even 1 is too high of a number when you count the vehicles he modeled from scratch himself. And the question of what others have done sofar is in my honest opinion only partially at its place at best, because other people simply don't model because they don't have the patience or talent for it, or because they don't have the tools (I never cared modding TDU because it requires zmodeler and I have a strong dislike for that program). This is a forum so we can discuss and share our own opinions on this. You can also say you hate the design of the Bugatti 16C Galibier, and nobody asks ''so what cars have you designed sofar?''. You see the point? ;)
  8. Congratulations with the first published carmod. It looks great too.
  9. Why are there 6 prices listed? And why are they so high for an Atari product? That's like selling a Simca for BMW M prices... The detailed physics thing cracks me up, and it seems they are too scared to get more than 8 people in one session....
  10. I've only played TD6 because I was too busy with NFS back in those days (pre-2000). TD6 was quite some fun.
  11. The alcantara on the top of the wheel ring seems to have some odd triangle pattern on it, it looks a bit odd.
  12. NFS5 was more than a racing game with cars of one brand. It WAS the brand. It had the history of the brand in it, many iconic cars in it, and the Evolution and Factory Driver modes made it a game on its own. For Ferrari games, I just don't get it... Is Outrun not enough?
  13. That truck wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. This might be the best vehicle customization built in-game I've ever seen. They did an outstanding job with the lights on the bars, but also the cab versions and the drivetrain configurations.
  15. Some of the roadsigns they're now busy with placing them. With the complexity and size of the gameworld, they expect to spend several weeks in just placing them in the world. That does not include time for testplaying and creating them... Click to enlarge:
  16. I think it's better this post gets merged wtih my thread, it was a discussion topic yes, ón the updates... This topic will just get the same thing so you end up with two topics doing the same. :)
  17. That's often the issue with licensing, that in some cases they just can't obtain rights for a most recent model.
  18. My goodness.... just look at the possibilities of customization!!! o.O
  19. Ye but this topic doesn't have a best-before date (unless we're approaching the era of totally uninspiring boring nicknames :p) so bumping this ain't as bad as bumping the TDU1 section with the news the Megapack has been announced xD My name originates from a car (shockiiiiiingg). I drew a Merc on my 13th which I wanted to be just below the CL in terms of size and luxury, and above anything else in performance. Randomly mixing names gave me CLR-GTR as result, and I liked that so I kept it. In 2004 a second generation was drawn, in 2005 I made a third generation as non-Merc in 3ds max, in 2006 the fourth model, as Merc again, was made, in 2007 I made another non-Merc one in 3ds max ánd as 1/14 claymodel for some sort of ''graduating'' project on high school, and it never changed name. Also tried to make a sixth generation in 3ds max but 3ds had to corrupt the file leaving nothing but just one wheelset and the bodyshell left. Based on CLK-GTR? Busted. Based on the backflipping CLR? Busted, I didn't even know of that car in 2003.
