  1. Well I remembered the SCS banners on the tracks, just forgot they were the publishers back then :)
  2. At least somebody is still having hope :D You might as well forget about it and start digging the web for TDU3 artwork or something, this is just simply not working anymore.
  3. Well didn't they make Hard Truck: Road to Vicotry, and HT: King of the Road? I loved those games. Very nice games, and I played ETS1 as well, was very nice to play apart from a few bad things. ETS2 does seem to have huuuuge improvements, I've seen em including some more roads in Holland which makes me think the map is going to be insanely large, and they still keep open the possibility for licensed trucks. SCS makes good games yes.
  4. The blog of ETS2 celebrates its one year anniversary today, HOORAY!!!!! The devs used the opportunity to inform readers on the release date. All I can say is...... I truly wish more devs were like this.
  5. Perhaps my all-time favorite is Romulus 3, by Romolo Di Prisco, made for NFS3. It's hard to pick just one track of that time, I love at least 60% of each complete soundtrack of NFS3, 4 and 5. I love many game soundtracks though, but these three games just stand out, and I'm not shy to say that's mostly because of Rom's presence. When EA chose for commercial crappy successes including EA Traxx' existing music, it went downhill for me. Some other songs of games I like a lot are an unknown song (I really can't stand some songs are simply not known by artist and/or title) of World Racing 2: ...and , another no-nonsense high-speed techno racer. And my last top-in-the-list favorite would be Colin McRae Rally 3's Intro Theme, apparently an Octagon Music Productions' remix of Star Guitar, made by Chemical Brothers.
  6. Just a question, why did the TDU2.com thread on this get posted in the TDU1 section on TDU2.com?
  7. Barnyard Central? Otiz rocks and that's the end of the matter.
  8. I want Road Rash emotes for bikes. I want to buy a designer bat and hit other bikers off. I'm more interested in the extra cars and how bugged the Auction Hall will be with only players who hacked to get money will be able to buy all the interesting cars (as far as there are some) and I bet on the first day people will complain for having won the auction bidding, then not receiving the car while t hey have enough garagespace left.
  9. What's the use of another physics mode if the base is considered not good enough to start with? I foresee that if they actually start making an H-mode, people will be flooding the forums because cars will behave even worse...
  10. Autoarts are indeed expensive, on the website they go up to 150 for 1/18's, not even limited editions, and their 1/12's go at around 400 to 500 euro's, while I have pre-ordered a high quality one at Premium Classixxs for just under 200. What I would consider a pure rip-off is the fact Autoart not only has normal 1/18's so expensively priced, but also sealed-shell 1/18's which are mostly cars like the C-Class DTM. Sealed body (written on the pictures as if it's a unique feature) means you can't open anything, no bonnet, no trunk and no doors. I payed around 89,90 for my 1/18 190E, but perhaps you could take a look at the carmanufacturer dealers, maybe they sell dealer editions of the same cars for lower price and same quality.
  11. Here's my list of 1/12 1/18, 1/24, 1/43 and 1/87. Not entirely complete, I know for sure some of the 1/42 cars are missing, many of em were Ferrari's given to me by my aunts and were from an old promotion of Shell which earned you pullback cars after refueling your car. I also have an SLS-AMG 1/12 pre-ordered but it can come any day, it could be tomorrow, or december 31st 23:59:59.999. 1/12 Dicky Mercedes-Benz R230 SL500 RC, silver 1/18 AutoArt Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.0, red Bburago Bugatti EB110, blue Bburago Dodge Viper R/T10 targa, black Bburago Ferrari F1 car (early 90's) red Bburago Lamborghini Diablo '90 with wing, yellow Bburago Mercedes-Benz 300SL roadster kit, silver Guiloy Mercedes-Benz C112, black/white Kyosho Mercedes-Benz CLK Convertible with functional softtop, sand with black roof and interior Kyosho Mercedes-Benz W211 E320 Combi, blue Maisto Mercedes-Benz CLK-DTM 2001 Original Teile, silver with blue front Maisto Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR AMG, silver Maisto Mercedes-Benz W220 S500, silver Maisto Mercedes-Benz SLK230 Kompressor, silver Minichamps Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss, silver 1/24 Bburago BMW 635 CSI Original BMW Teile kit, white Bburago Mercedes-Benz 500SEC kit, silver Franklin Mint Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, silver Maisto Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, silver Maisto Mercedes-Benz SLK320 facelift, red 1/43 BMW 750Li pullback, blue (this was my first ever toycar, got it when I was around 1 year old Maisto Ferrari 250 GTO pullback, red Maisto Ferrari 365 GTB/4 pullback, yellow Maisto Ferrari F40 pullback, red Maisto Ferrari F40 pullback, yellow Maisto Ferrari F50 pullback, red Maisto Ferrari Testarossa pullback, red Maisto Jaguar XJ220 pullback, black Maisto Lamborghini Diablo without wing pullback, yellow Maisto Lotus Elan pullback, green Maisto Mercedes-Benz ML-Class PSV Eindhoven pullback, silver/white/red Maisto Mercedes-Benz SL pullback, green Maisto Mercedes-Benz SLK pullback, silver Maisto Mercedes-Benz SLK pullback, yellow Maisto Porsche 911 Speedster pullback, white Matchbox Mercedes-Benz 190E Dutch Highway Police, white/orange Minichamps Mercedes-Benz SL65 Black Series, black Schuco Mercedes-Benz C-Class Avantgarde, silver Siku Mercedes-Benz 1850 Transporter with trailer, yellow/blue 1/87 2x Herpa Mercedes-Benz A-Class Dutch Ambulance, yellow

    Lego!

If there's an election for the most meaningless excuse regardless the subject, it's being too old for Lego. xD You only gotta stop with lego when you're too old causing your hands to shake too much or when you tend to fall asleep too often, and even then you could resort to Duplo instead... Lego is for all ages, the ages on the box are meaningless, the Unimog is advertised 11-16 but it's very, very complex, and in reviews has been mentioned to be more for the adult builders. Lego also recognizes AFOL's, Adult Fans Of Lego, as a separate group. ;) My mom btw finds it nice to see the big Lego sets I buy, she also keeps claiming Lego will always stay and she actually forbids me to sell any lego because it's so valuable. Funny thing is, here in Holland there's the annual Lego World exhibition which is the largest Lego event in the world, most of the amazing stuff you see there is built by adults only (some even hate children lol).

    Lego!

I have the Unimog as well. It's fabulous! It's so freaking complex, a challenge to built, the drivetrain is so awesome designed, and all the functions they managed to push into that thing and get it powered by just one engine, it's just amazing. Managed to get it late July after pre-ordering it for 162 instead of 189 euros. I'm so happy I got it, especially since it's an MB licensed set and the biggest official Technic set ever (over 2000 pieces). I love lego, got loads of sets, such as the 8448 Supercar, 8466 Offroader, a truck with pneumatic crane or carhaul system, another big US-style tow-truck and the Barcode truck set. I have a few smaller Technic sets as well, and some sets which are all mixed up and of which one was the airplane with the space shuttle on its back (good old times it was still called Lego System).
  14. Ye-Olde-TDU Central then, to remove the link with TDU2 and keep the link with TDU1.
  15. To be honest it IS easy to get them because they're as good as indicated once you completed a few golden bomb missions. So if you could prepare for anything, do some challenging time trials without hitting traffic or getting offroad, and set a real firm and close time limit. It could also happen Atari and Eden ignored the bug in the PC's pack in which it took you just 4 or 6 wrecks in total to get both cars instead of the 8 and 12 claimed for Stratos and Charger.
  16. Vote of no confidence for me goes to Atari. Eden is also responsible since they make the game, but almost anything I can blame Eden for has no option than to be redirected due to Atari's policy. Atari should have helped Eden getting a big devteam with good skilled devs and lots of proper programs to work with to make the game really good, and that also comes down to the time and money Atari SHOULD have invested in TDU2 and Eden. Instead, they held a beta period of a few months which they then ignored for the majority of feedback, and they rushed the game instead of delaying it a few months more to give time to fix stuff like the User Interface and stability. They didn't take their time, and they way not have enough money to afford it, or to expand the game a lot, including the carlist. There has been little IMPROVEMENT (not additions, but IMPROVEMENT) since TDU1, despite the 4 years between the two games. All the factors gives me no hope that TDU3 if developed by this same combination WILL make the big leap forward to stay at the top. In addition to that we all know Atari held and holds back too much info, they promised a lot they couldn't deliver and they are horrible in communicating as once again it comes down to just two moderators at the official forum to answer to the entire community, especially if you claim you're going to be so involved with them and listen properly to them. So for me in the end, I'd say Eden has to be given one final chance, with a bigger team, more time and more resources to really make what they should have made.
  17. Then what manufacturer was it? Cadillac? Lexus?
  18. Meixy-Supporters Central Fair enough, her quick acting and apparent will to help at TDU2.com's forum reminds me of Tenebra trying to squeeze out every bit of info about the Megapack to us.
  19. I also miss sedans, the carlist has a focus that is too much onto sports and supercars, there are not enough powersedans and musclecars (as everybody states). The only 4-door cars I can remember not being in the game yet would have been the Ford Interceptor Concept and the 300SEL 6.8 AMG (for that you can be lucky the game has no tirewear system or you could sell it the same day you bought it). I don't believe in the anniversary thing though, it sounds like nonsense to me, especially a 6th-month anniversary. To me an anniversary is for after one month, one year, or more years (2, 5, 12½, 25...). 6 months is just odd though, and you give me two games who saw a big announcement to celebrate such a ''random-picked'' anniversary. They have fulltime work already bringing out the Exploration DLC to X360, the PS3 is not even known, and they gotta let that FAQ list travel through all involved companies. The 6th-month anniversary would be on 8th or 11th of August, that's ahead of the August 16th release of the Exploration pack.
  20. The CLC is a 2008 - 2010 car, not a 2006. Difference is not big, but some people think the CLC looks better than the C-Sportcoupe. I think the same, but I don't think the Sportcoupe and CLC are great cars for the reasons I mentioned earlier. C-Sportcoupe CLC Then again, there's no difference other than styling and maybe a few equipment possibilities, they both share the same platform and the engine choice only got more limited with the CLC introduction. Don't count on AMG fun as well, the diesel 30CDI is rare, but the petrol 32AMG is impossible to find.
  21. I don't hate TDU2. If I hated TDU2 that much, it would have been removed from my pc a long time ago, but it hasn't, and it won't, because a few times I still start it up to see if I can find some of the people in there I met from beta to today.
  22. TDU3 under Atari and Eden. No, just.... no. There's a bigger chance of me becoming vegetarian and a hardcore Greenpeace- and Sea Shepherd extremist than TDU3 becoming the game it shóuld be under those two. I really wonder if they can deliver that DLC on the 16th, and if they fixed the stuff the PC versionbrought up. And then there's the PS3 one to come as well.....
  23. With MB C Coupé I take it you point at the Sportcoupe with odd high tail, poor rear entry and poor rear view? I'd take a sedan, but maybe I look too much at the practical side, and I don't know with how many people you are and how many cars alongside the Celica you own. You can't use the Sportcoupe as familycar obviously. I would go for the Merc option, but not because I'm a Merc lover, but because that adds a new car, and I assume you can afford it, modern Mercs ain't being cheap and all. Otherwise, you could save yourself from getting the Merc, and use all that money to make your GT-Four a perfect rally monster. If you do get the Merc, take it to MBenzNL, that guy retrofits official Mercedes equipment into cars they never have been available for. :p
  24. ETS2 has truck customization, and for paintjobs they managed to make a template function: Results into:
