NFS3, 4 and 5, because Romolo Di Prisco, Saki Kaskas & co. Just can't get around those. But if I'd have to mention something else: Olof Gustafsson

Yes, it's happening, Forza Horizons 3 has been announced. It will come in september this year to Windows 10 and Xbox One and the setting will be Australia. Be sure to check out the bonus cars for pre-ordering, such as the 488GTB (Gamestop), the F-Type Project 7 (Best Buy) and the non-existing Mercedes-AMG E63 S Coupe (Xbox Dash), which I assume should be a C63. If it was an original Dutch delivery, it would read ''Niederlande'' on the datacard, and the date of first registration and first registration in our country would be the same. This car is imported, it was delivered in germany in february '11 and got here in november '11 when the previous owner bought it. It's very common for young cars from the middle or top luxury segment to be imported from Germany. Such cars are often (but definitely not always!) better equipped than a Dutch car for the same price, with lower mileages. Reason I did not import one was because to really sáve money on importing, you'd have to do everything yourself including getting it here, which I don't have the experience, time or equipment for. Also, for young cars you still have to pay customs a rest-tax which is XX % at Y age of the car. This all would make it more expensive for me to import one, so I went for the easy option and just save up to get one here. Mileage... I have to drive it for a longer time and save up more receipts of refueling to determine a reliable figure. I don't 100% go by the figures on the onboard display. As far as those means anything though: my ~48 km commute to work usually ends up around 6,5-7,0 liters per 100 km. It's a 130km/h limit highway, but it's full of traffic, trucks often overtake eachother and there are numerous spontaneous brake-tests going on, otherwise I'd be doing 6 to 6,5 liters per 100 km. Yesterday, when I took those pics, I was doing a triangle trip (home-visit, visit-photospot, photospot-home), three trips of about 60 km, mixed highway, B-roads and 50km/h roads. The car considered it one long trip and gave me a 6,3 liters per 100 km.

Yes, it's all mine. Really though, there will be plenty of reasons for people, other countries and international organizations to not want me own a country :p On a more serious note: it's how Merc uses an entry on the datacard to indicate for which market the car had to be prepared and shipped. In some cases this involves for example extra documents that come with the car, and ofcourse pre-setting all the languages in the car, include manuals and service books in the correct language, etc.

Was sort of hoping to make nice pictures in front of a monumental former radio communications HQ, but apparently access for cars has been blocked by more barriers than I expected, so I had to settle with one of the shove-it-under-the-carpet other buildings on the site... At least I had a nice trip today lol

Baku's making sure all details are perfect for the upcoming F1 race. Got an ugly building? No problem!

Think again, even real AMG's have them fake:

Those wheels on the blue thing are just too big. They look like they were designed with some classy idea and a luxury-car appearance, but whoever doesn't get out with a broken back deserves a medal and that doesn't sound like something for a luxury car. And once again it looks similar like the other cars they sell, not even the proportions thing helps here as the C looks good enough in estate shape, mainly because the rear end isn't too short. I like it like this... then again I'd also like the C if it looked similar, and because they're so similar you might go for a C with better equipment: And yes, ofcourse those exhaust tips are just trim with a single pipe hanging behind it.

Car Spotting: What You Saw Recently! - Part 2

The wing is attached to a wide thin separate panel. You can remove the fixed wing from that panel but you'll have the attachment points exposed. If you want to install the electronically controlled rear wing, you'd be looking at a retrofit job with I assume at least 1 extra control module, extra wiring, the whole assembly itself, installing an extra button for the override function (next to parkingsensors button) and all the coding to get it to be recognized and operated at certain speeds/braking movements. Perhaps another option to replace it with the e-tron's rear spoiler edge and rear panel of the engine cover thing? See here

Here's the facelif...new Audi A5: Seriously Audi? That little imagination? Everybody who buys a post-2012 Merc complains like there's no tomorrow about the free standing fixed screen (and for clear reasons), and you just do the same thing? And why's the MMI button in front of the selector? Can you rest your wrist on the selector now? So far forward from the armrest... From the outside though a nice car, a nice boxy coupe. I like that. Looks way better than the C-Coupe or upcoming E-Coupe which look more like fastbacks.

Watch Dogs 2 confirmed for first show to public on E3. Several youtubers (such as theRadBrad) have received some sort of giftbox as seen below (no idea who the guy in the vid below is): Also this might be as real as all the end-of-world days we've had to undergo, but an artist currently working for Rockstar had released pictures on a portfolio website of GTA IV's Liberty City park in V's engine... Instant hyping ofcourse of a possible E3 reveal of a Liberty City DLC... Ofcourse GTAForums.com is all over this, what did you expect? For now, perhaps best to just throw it on the already big pile of possible meanings for Take Two's earlier statement of being on E3 2016 with something big...

The Space Thread: Diablo's Home Planet Found
CLR-GTR replied to TIMELESS's topic in General Discussion
Nice video of the landing of Falcon 9: And in other news: Swedish astronomers have done computer simulations on Planet X, the earlier-hinted planet 20 times further from the sun than Neptune and already blamed for just about every bad thing that can happen to Earth. They had to conclude that this planet is most likely an exo planet that was ejected from a different star-planet system to such a distance our sun had the chance to take Planet X with it. As the researches say, it could be the only exo planet we could actually visit with a space probe. -
It's because I just don't read and tick 1 box on auto-pilot. I'm not used to multiple-choice polls.

I just saw the poll itself was multiple choice, after I already voted for 1 person... So my top 3 is: 1. Paladin Skylark 2. The Compensator 3. Camel

I could agree on barge-ness. Even though it has a Sport suspension mode and (according to manufacturer) should do 0-100 km/h in 6 seconds, it still weighs over 1700 kg, it's wide and long, and in term of overall size impression it almost feels like I'm driving a low SUV compared to the 202 I had. I do have to add that at Merc they really know how to position arm rests for the most relaxed seating possible

Ricciardo ain't a happy man, this picture sums it up: Although he blaims his team, forcing him to do that disastrous pit stop, ofcourse that move of Hamilton wasn't nice either. :/
-
It's amazing :p My silver C had 102hp and 235Nm, this one has 265hp and 620Nm. And they all work :D
-
I wasn't really looking for one with Airmatic, mostly because of the horror stories surrounding replacement of its components. Then again, Merc has improved it a lot compared to earlier iterations of the system and if you don't do weird stuff with it, it should last quite long. For now I'm not missing the harman/kardon and folding mirrors. Mainly the mirrors would get priority, but since I am now parking away from the roadside it's become less important for now. Soundsystem I'd have to experience it first to hear the difference, but right now the CLS standard is already so much better. @Ryan: I know what you mean yes, been through the same in my year-long search. But it'll show up, no doubt. Just keep checking.
-
No, I was dreaming too much, my mom noticed both occasions :p Below is the datacard, I have omitted some silly stuff that I really don't see as optional equipment (e.g. L - Left hand drive, FC - Coupe and HA - Rear axle...)

Thanks Mellors. We'll see about the ladies, but the jealous looks from others are already in the pocket. During the test drive we stopped at a petrol station to test out some things, and some fatherfigure of a german family kept staring at my car :p And on the way of driving it home, some people overtook me rather slowly, scanning the whole car. We'll see about car parks but yes it can get a bit problematic if the others leave me with little space left. The car does have a reversing camera and parking sensors but the body itself is still 4940mm long and 1881mm wide, compared to 4516 and 1720 of the silver C. I'll just have to get used to it :p
