I know it is possible to do it, since I myself am currently using my old profile with 99% converted to offline with the method described in the link.

Maybe because the old one is online and new offline? If that's not the problem, then I don't know, sorry

I don't know about the framerate issues, but I remember that I also copied my savegame. If I remember corectly, you need to make a new profile in game, so that it's registered in ProfileList.dat, and then (I think ;p) you can simply copy the content from your previous save into the folder from the new profile in TDU saves folder. Edit: There's also another issue, if your old save is from online profile (and I guess it is, since you have ~95%), you need to make a new, offline profile and do some hex editing, otherwise you won't be able to play. I'm pretty sure there was a tutorial somewhere on this forum on how to convert your online profile to offline. Though I don't think it's worth the trouble now, since Speeder's Project Paradise will soon bring back online servers, so an online profile will be reqiured anyway I guess.

I'm pretty sure you can't combine different specs, as interesting as it would be :D BTW, still waiting for those new cars to be revealed s**n ...

Does anyone have any good physics for this car? Or the regular Supra RZ at least. Can't seem to find one.

If I remember corectly Ubisoft has been favoring Sony lately, with their Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed PS-exclusive content. So I guess (hope?) that these are not Xbox exclusives. Or maybe it is just Ubi's answer to FH2 "day 1 free DLC" - cutting out a couple of cars and sticking a "Free DLC" tag on them :P

This is the one: At the end there's the McLaren, which I guess is part of the Season Pass.

But keep in mind that not all cars have all specs avaible for them. If they would add those classics with street spec only, that wouldn't differ much from the original, I could live with it.

1. New car dealers other than Detroit and NY can't be unlocked in this beta. 2. First make sure you have perks that give you 10%(I think 10, maybe more) more cash, and then do the PvP races. Each race will grant you 3,5-4,5k, no matter if you win or not. You will have to do it for a couple of hours until you have ~90k, then you take perks for discounts at car dealers.

The car both cleans and repairs by itself while driving. For me it's the best solution because I hate driving wrecked car, but you still can destroy it.

I know about that but I had Mustang which for drifting was so-so. But now I have to take back what I said, I finally bought Skyline and drifting it on dirt spec is wonderful ;D Even on keyboard the handling is quite good for my taste.

Well, the Force Feedback is so good my DFGT couldn't handle it. It burned :crying: Luckily the warranty ends in two months, hopefully I'll have it back before the crew release. And about the handling, I must say I quite like it on a wheel. But like you said, the traction makes drifting feel a bit artificial. From what I've seen on the official forums, many people complain about this, so hopefully they'll fix it ;)

Are you sure that you found all parts? Because I noticed that it didn't count properly for me (It showed that I found more parts than I actually did). Maybe each kit car is associated with HQ in that area, and since in this beta the New York HQ is unavaible then it might be impossible to get it. I can't find pics of anyone actually driving it

Is it me or is the money system ridiculous? I mean, I've played for 10 hours to finally be able to buy that skyline which costs 108k, not to mention that any old muscle costs over 200k... For every story mission you get 1000$, challenge only 200, and the tricks-meter will only earn you about 80-100 max. The only way to make any kind of money is to repeat over and over those PvP lobby races, which grant you 4,5k for each race. I hope the will fix it before the release, because it all looks like they force the use of 'crew credits' which is ...just wrong. Oh, other than that, the game is still as awesome as in the first beta ;)

I don't have G27 but I play on DFGT on 900 degrees. I never understood what's the difference between the two sensitivity options, but I always set the first one on ~3/4 and the second one on ~1/4 and I like it this way. Hope that helps ;)

Maybe it's so expensive because it includes upgrade to the Limited Edition? I was albe to find The Crew without any bonuses on polish shop Empik, and it costs 120 PLN (~38 USD). The gold edition on ubi shop costs 250 PLN (~80 USD). So the season pass edition does actually cost twice the price. Edit: Also on the same site, it says that the game features over a hundred cars :hmmm: Could be they count every spec as separate car though

Nope, info from official site: Players who had accessed the game or simply redeemed their key on Uplay PC, during the first Closed Beta, will automatically have access to this second Closed Beta. All keys sent for the first Closed Beta that haven’t been activated on Uplay PC, will not give access to the second Closed Beta. All content (XP, Levels, money, parts) earned during the first Closed Beta will be wiped for the second one. There will be no NDA for this second Closed Beta. The Closed Beta will end on Friday, August 29th.

It's probably a DLC car. They already locked it even before the game release. :D

Ok, so here are my first impressions: Well, the map, car models and custimization is obviously excellent, graphics as well even on low settings on my laptop. I didn't experienece the 'car slowing down with FPS', but I sometimes get the impression that the game is somehow forcing the 30 FPS, maybe doubling some frames or sth. I played with FRAPS and it constantly showed 30 FPS, even when at some points the game stuttered and slowed. But it wasn't that annoying or gamplay ruining. I didn't experience many bugs or glitches, the game was pretty stable for me. The thing that bothered me more is that some controls settings are locked and can't be changed. I played on Logitech Driving Force GT and the game defaultly set gear up/down to wheel paddles, while DFGT also has an up/down stick, which is far more comfortable to use with wheel set to 900°. I only played on hardcore mode, and i must say it's awesome, you can really feel the weight of car. As a huge TDU1 fan, the only thing I was a bit dissapointed with is that even on hardcore cars have pretty good grip. If you want to drift it feels somewhat forced, not so smooth (I was hoping for sth more like TDU-HC). I spent most of my time riding nissan 370z in street spec, since it was the most drift-friendly for me, but I found it more entertaining to just drive normally than to try drifting (except snowy mountin roads, those are amazing!) I still have to try out the dirt spec, I'm not that big fan of off-road though.
