You didn't answer my question.

I am not mad, this was a completely neutral question. I think you are the one getting mad, not me :nods: the reason I ask that, is because you post that many pictures and showing progress, maybe some people are waiting for this mod but it will never get released. They might be quite dissapointed. So for a mod you wont release its pretty dumb to show such detailed progress when its your exclusive mod. Like you want to make people jaelous and this is stupid

"holes in the geometry of his car mod" LMAO theres bug reporting and then there's just nit-picking. This game is old, often said to have always been a poor game and then you have the cheek to go on about tiny bugs in a mod car made late on in this games life in someones free time? People act like modding is their job! Its sad.

tduchicken makes a mod. We (or atleast I) respect modders, since they try to make stuff for our entertainment. They do it for free. BTW, a lot of the mods are the same quality as the models Atari made us pay for. The modders are doing it free.
 
Not everyone can mod. I can't, I don't understand any of the Zmodeler stuff. So people doing it, making it public, is a big step. They show the world their effort.
 
tduchicken made this step. He showed the world his model. Which is good quality. There are bugs, yes, but Minime tries to make a biggie about a huge buglist where like 10% of the bugs affects gameplay. 90% is when you look closely, don't drive the car, but scan it for bugs. Bugs? Oh, you mean 1 cm of texture on the wrong place.
 
TDUZoqqer and Minime I respect your work in every way, you both make beautiful models. But give less experienced modders a chance to show their work to the rest, without making a big flame war into this thread.
 
Extra respect since the LaFerrari is a hard 3D model; there aren't a lot of them around. Who told me that? Zoqqer himself.
So respect everyone, especially tduchicken for trying to make the best of his skills. These flame wars between parties of people is killing me.

And be aware: I'm neutral. I'm not trying to defend any of the parties involved. I'm just saying you should think before posting and making giant flame wars.

Just ban him already he's come back after his original ban and is doing the same things all over again i.e dangerous links, directing people away from Turboduck to his virus infested website (RR Phantom)... c'mon this is just a joke.

Xarlith and others have done wonders with car places in dealerships etc so I think they could edit player garages with no problem (I'm not saying it will be easy however as yeah databases etc are a pain in the arse)
 
But I really hope they could create new garages- I've always felt 8 cars isnt enough for me and it would be nice to have all the cars in one place :) You could then truly make a virtual car collection :P

For example, Sant Llorenc Hacienda could easily hold 20 cars, but instead it holds only six. Imagine having all your favourite cars in one huge garage- you wouldn't need any other homes! Would be so immersive :)

Well at the end of the day, all this would be avoided if Minime and others could just reply to people in a grown up manner. What Hermano said deserved no condescending language in reply...
 
Heres a tip for modders: You can always IGNORE all future posts from downloaders and only reply to those reporting bugs or something. Simple. No arguments caused.

Turn it into a Photothread in the photomode section and I'll link it :D You could then show off your paints AND show general pictures :)
