I thought I'd create this thread as a way of letting members link their photomode threads so that the hundreds of downloaders who come to the TDU2 mod section (most popular section) can also see the communitys photos of all the mods out there (or vanilla car photos). :)
 
People who take screens in this game and the modders themselves would appreciate this as it will ensure pictures of mods are viewable by all and not just a few who decide to wander over to the photomode section.

I totally agree. What makes a mod unfinished is NOTICEABLE bugs like I listed. Theres no need to make a mountain out of a mole hill. :)

This is a great mod as it is Chicken! But you could make it PERFECT if you just get rid of those noticeable problems like the steering bug etc :) Don't worry about "texture holes" lol you're not that nerdy and nit-picky :L

Do you not learn? Upload to Mediafire and provide a link to it! Simple as that. Stop trying to turn modding this game into some sort of stupid, sad little business/ brand on a website that is still very dodgy.

And furthermore, in a tab I got a redirect to a self-starting "wonderful" video :D

thats what i think too, it's useless to do mods and require some money for them, the same with vip mods... i would say there arent more then 20 people who pay for them.
if you think you get enough money with them, do it, but dont be suprised when no one wants to download your mods anymore...

Well you still haven't been able to prove it. Everyone here, however, can prove that you are a disgrace to modding with your website and ways of releasing mods.

Umm nobody, especially a modder, is going to spend £60 on a 3D model unless they are proffessionals needing models of all kinds for their job. Modding games is a hobby and for the enjoyment of making a game better. All modders know this.
 
This is TDU2... its getting on a bit now, was never a blockbuster like Skyrim and to expect any money for modding it is absurd and sad.
 
Also, StarGT is yet again advertising pay only mods on this free mod sharing website directing people to his virus hub. I can't believe he hasnt been banned yet this has been going on for far too long now.
 
Also, i'm skeptical about his argument about his wonderful free models. If 3D models are so expensive, how did he aqcuire the Macan and 918? Were they stolen? Because if I spent £60 on a model, I would expect some sort of return... unless i had more money than sense.

You were not ignored, we looked into and blocked the sites you and others reported as throwing up inappropriate pop-ups, locking the browser or opening prohibited content in new windows and tabs. 
We contacted StarGT with the reason for doing this along with proof to show why it was done to which he respectfully accepted.

We have been considering adding a download whitelist where only downloads from a certain amount of approved and trusted sites would be allowed to be posted. This of course relies on people obeying this otherwise we would need to remove certain privileges Modders currently hold and even go so far as needing to Moderate/Approve every thread that is posted to make sure it adheres to this set of guidelines. 
If you and others can do this then there is no reason this cannot work.

The rules currently in place state that
* You may not link to a pornographic website
* You may not link to a website that requires registration to download the desired mod.
 
Mediafire would be a great choice for hosting mods.
 
Us staff don't play TDU2 let alone mod it so we often rely on users of the mod shop to report breaches of the rules, but will occasionally do random checks.

Yes we have noticed, we're just waiting on the admin to get out of the bath :bath:
 
Continue to report any posts that link to malicious or pornaographic sites and we will deal with it. If you're reading this Star, now would be a great time to change your hosting provider because we really are fed up with this.

Yeh i no longer do, im just posting this up for everyone else to see. Since i have time and time again given the benefit of the doubt that the next mod he releases here wont be the same .. but that isnt the case ..

This needs to stop now, everyone is tired of all the extra drama going on in the modding section. If this fighting does not stop we'll start handing out infractions and if necessary, bans.
 
I'm closing this thread & removing the link and the posts, let this be a warning for you guys. I'm leaving the thread Emir created open but before heading there, bear in mind what I said above. We'll start taking necessary actions only if we have real proof of the mod being stolen.

I really like your R8 GT mod... except the interior is completely unfinished. So really take your time on the exterior AND interior on this C7 and I know you will release a great mod. :) Also don't feel like you are pressured to release is as quick as possible... turboduck members always respectfully wait for modders (UP 0.4 for example)
