    that's true, the cars in TDU are not very 'smart' ! but at least they can get out from your band :D but thankfully there are not as stupid as the traffic cars from GTA San Andreas :)))))) increased traffic is Cool for Heavy Cars, but for speed the only problem of them is their 'intelligence'

    yes, or Passat, Jetta, Phaeton . . . Phaeton is pretty popular, tuned (from GTA San Andreas or other games, maybe it can be possible, to convert from any other game) . . . and I think some modders do cars 'from zero' (100% by their own), or not, hmm

    yeah ! to be honest : More Cars = More Fun (Slalom, etc.) maybe there is somewhere a value to be modified (not very difficult) you should ask Djey, maybe he can give you some advices

    I wonder WHY nowadays most of cars don't have the same interior materials, a super example : bmw cars (especially 5 Series) were having more elegant wood than today in my opinion : today Volkswagen Phaeton is a car which continues that 2000's "interior wood tradition" (looking pretty similar with this bmw 750 ["]Радикал-Фото :: Увеличенное изображение ). . . less wood is not the best for me :| and I rather use wood for my car than other materials, especially metal, whose fabrication process I think is less ecological (than cutting just several trees), which can be immediately replaces with new trees, younger and probably as ecological as an old tree (consuming the same carbon dioxide quantity, or releasing the same oxygen, or both [i don't know exactly here :D], or plants release oxygen more than trees, pfff, I have a lapsus) probably the costs are smaller for 'other material' interiors, than for wood (anyway, trees must be planted a lot, I don't think "too much" is bad right now) definely this is not a request :)) but I just say, because I like the (wood) interior of this car

    yeeeah ! thanks, now it works ! the root folder was not set ! ! ! LoL . . . when I have firstly downloaded TDUMT (4-5 months ago), I didn't tried to change something in the settings :)) but :-? I don't remember even if I have firstly downloaded TDUPE or TDUMT, and it took me 1-2 days to find that I must set the root folder for TDUPE (but I totally forgot of TDUMT to try it also . . . anway, I didn't needed it too much on that time, but now I need it)[modding just gets like a drug :D]

    thanks for informations, but TDUMT don't work (maybe the files of the game are corrupt, or something else) . . . there is anything to do, to make TDUMT work ?

    the .db files are empty (without the wood textures) ? or I cannot make the difference between the old textures and the new textures ? I've tried to replace the carbon with wood (I want to replace the carbon from Audi S6 with black wood), but it doesn't work . . . should I replace something from the interior .bnk file of the car ? but what ?

    yeees ! usually, from what I know, when there are 'system errors' the windows itself sends a 'specifically windows message', but when there are "systematical errors" (not huge, but important difference between those 2 words : system & systematical) the program sends his own message (exactly my case) [but who knows, maybe TDUMT sends error even when there are 'system errors' and not just "systematical", but even so : the windows must respond also, in most of cases] I've watched a tutorial about how to make sounds, but in that tutorial it shows only how to use BNK File Editor (and not also TDUMT)[probably TDUMT has just a button for us to 'push' it, and the rest of work is done by the program] in fact my main frustration is the usage of Virtual DJ (to cut the samples to be exactly 2.00 seconds long) and Switch Audio Converter (to convert into exactly that type of wav files) . . . maybe there are not really difficult to be used, but I really don't find the commands (the same problem for some programs to create a car)[in fact, this is the biggest difficulty for most of programs of any type] --- Post Updated --- Test Drive Unlimited Audi S6 Avant REALISTIC DIESEL Physics Sound (thanks to Naftabm) - YouTube look the physics preview for Audi S6 Avant REAL DIESEL (being able to drive with 4th-5th gear at 50km/h, like in reality, having that heaviness sensation (but without the tyres heaviness sensation, the only one which miss), but being also powerful (especially like V TDI Engines), the only inconvenient being the super strong brake (but which I like it, using the keyboard, but probably with a digital steering wheel the brake is really too strong)

    WOOOW ! to be honest : I didn't expected from you to do it for me, because I strongly wanted to do it by my own ! but, Thanks A Lot ! :-) especially because I cannot use TDU Modding Tools (and not being able to do any engine sound) :-( and I think for that I need to reinstall the windows (I have Windows 7, there is any other better choice (than Windows 7) ? ? I don't 'super suck' when it comes to Technical Domains, but I strongly need a help (to succeed) :-( I am talented (to understand technical domains), but not talented enough (to do it mostly by my own, without any 'teacher' / extra help) ! :-| but : hopefully I will manage to get used more and more, in last years I wanted also to do many computer things to improve my technical abilities (and not only) . . . but it seems that the technical university I've managed to get into (mechanics university) helps me to improve my technical skills more and more ! :-) this is one of my biggest frustrations (and the main stress factor, not being talented enough to handle relatively easy some disciplines) it took me 1-2 months to start to use car mods :)) :D until I've discovered Magic Map (and the other tools) . . . TDU Performance Editor took me also some time (several weeks) ! but since than (4-6 months ago) I strongly improved my technical skills (with the help from university, learning very new things) . . . my technical thinking got essentially changed :-)

    YEEES ! definely it is Not Realistic Enough for a Diesel Engine : very big speed limit (500km/h), maximum acceleration, not too much horsepower, high redline :D totally opposite from a diesel :)) but this is the best solution for great grip ;) these days I've tried to do similar physics for VW Touareg to be able to climb very inclined hills, but : with bigger power (and a lot of torque, as all my cars have), not so big speed . . . but, because I cannot make the suspensions shorter, I don't have good enough handling (and the car goes crazy slippering) [i've changed also values from Overhang (front & back) and Track (front & back), the car is more stable, but worse for hill climbing, unfortunately] {but ! I've made the Touareg just a cruising car, with one gear for constant speed below 60km/h, it is great for those who don't have a digital steering wheel and pedals} and definely a lot of power is not the best solution for hill climbing :| but maximum aceleration & speed (with a lot of torque [9999], big enough weight [1500kg] and big grip [2000, double than average]), the car is still muscular enough ;-) definely just one gear is not offering a lot of fun, but for hill climbing it is the best solution :) but I have also a car with realistic driving (having 6 gears) ;) that BMW M3 E92 maybe the physics of this car are not very closed to a real BMW M3 E92, but I've made the best I could for a muscular, but powerful sportscar ;) YEEEAH ! :D the brakes are very strong, that's why I've made all my cars with big grip and 4x4 system :) to be able to drive 'at least close to maximum throttle most of times' and with very big stability ANYWAY : the new improved engine sound is very good even at very high rpm ! ;) ok, I use a little bit too high redline, but it's still great ! and it doesn't sound anymore like the sound of BMW M3 GTR from NFS Most Wanted, like a washing machine, at high rpm (ok, now it sounds just a little bit, but insignifiant) ;) I've edited my post "heavy engine sound mix" and put the physics there for both BMW M3 E92 and Audi S6 Avant (Heavy Engine Sound MIX | turboduck forum)

    I use 1200 rpm for both torque and power, with the purpose to feel the torque & power very early, for an extra 'heaviness' feeling . . . am I right ? or should I raise the rpm values ? (or should I raise just the power rpm value ?) it's a very good idea to use low rpm value for redline ! it gives that 'heaviness' of the diesel engines, making the acceleration faster (and it offers a better start) ;-) I use TDU Performance Editor since 4 months, more than often, and I have great physics for Audi S6 Avant (integral traction), the car has both great speed and amazing off-road capacity ! ;-) TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED EXTREME OFF ROAD Audi S6 Avant (elegant diesel physics) - YouTube I use just one gear for maximum power, but it still has a strong enough start (very important for strong cars, and not only) who wants the physics please tell me

    you actually Don't Need Cruise Control, you need just to use Gearbox with Only 1 Gear ! ;) use TDU Performance Editor (if you have Windows 7 / Vista use TDUPE 2.75 and DON'T FORGET to put a reverse slash "\" at the end of the File Directory [Address]{for example : D:\Games\Test Drive Unlimited\ AND NOT D:\Games\Test Drive Unlimited WITHOUT A REVERSE SLASH AT THE END) Have Fun ! :) if you want, I can send you some physics

    what TDUPE you use ? I use TDUPE 2.75 which I think is good only for Windows 7 & Vista (I think that's because when I import any physics, it sends me fatal error)
