It's been a while since our last update and we thought we'd let you know what we've been up to!
 
Main TDU World site live!
Thanks to the help of Ollie, we have a main site running now! It is not fully done yet, but it does display all the information necessary for the moment. In the future, you will be able to download TDU World from this website! Want to check the website out? Go to this link!
 
First anniversary
Today marks the first anniversary of the TDU World project. We have been working hard over the last year to bring back the online mode for TDU2 with our mod and we have been blown away by the positive response already! We would like to thank every single one of you for the support and we hope everyone will stay as excited as you are now!
 
Main mod progress
Since the September update, the server development team has been working to fix an issue that we have had for a longer time. We certainly have the knowledge to be able to fix it, but due to lack of time, we have not been able to do it yet. We hope to tackle it as soon as possible!
 
That was the update for November 2019. See you soon! :)

I've only recently been able to buy Tdu2 offline from steam and now have the 1.85 mod, and it's easily the most fun racing game I've ever played. I think it'd be great to play online, and hope our voices will be heard here.

I'd like to see the same locations returning, with a third one added to the list. Better physics with more feel to it, like TDU1. Car meets where you can walk around would be cool too!

Hi all im from Jordan im 17 years old, i joined today from couple of hours ago actually, i installed tdu2 from two weeks ago or even more and i got only two championships to complete actually a championship and a cup. And i hope you welcome me to this page.
Lastly my favourite car in the game is the Ferrari California.

I saw that some of the original cars of the game still are low quality, why not replace them with high poly models so everything looks as good? 🙂 
Now I don’t want to buy an XJ220 because the quality of the model is very low. There is a high poly model available though: https://hf-garage.ru/files/mody_dlja_test_drive_unlimited/jaguar/1992_jaguar_xj220/100-1-0-1600

I didnt know that radio songs were on the list already, when it comes to the car mods, since it takes so much , and i believe that some of those cars that exist on tdu platinum could also exist as mods for tdu2 so that's a good option, keep up the good work

Because that mod "looks" good, but it isn't. Original XJ220 in TDU is not much different than that one, and it still has more features, such as interior colors.  Not to mention i gave the XJ220 new wheels, made specifically for it, and also i made new textures for the exterior.  You, otherwise, feel free to download that XJ220 and install it. Nothing is stopping you to do it. 
 
Because those clothes were never made, or finished in TDU. But patch 1.68b, made them "accesible".  So, no swinsuit. Pervs. Lol 😝

Just wait some time, meanwhile try to enter and leave a house. A friend and I needed lately about some minutes to see each other.
And stay near to him, perhaps at a point where are less people in general.

I recently found out about all of these on Steam community hub and got excited. Thank you for your hard work. Waiting it like a new game.

Time for another big update. Thanks to the work of Kuxii and the other devs: it is now possible to stay ingame in online mode, without timing out! Previously, the game would recognize there was no available server and the game would kick you out the lobby. This is now fixed, so it is possible to drive and walk around freely in online mode, including the casino. Next on the list is the functionality of the casino, after that the CRC and Clubs.

We have received a lot of questions about the state of TDU World, is it still alive, when will it be released etc.? We understand the questions since we have not posted an update since December last year. To update you on the current situation of the project, we will go through the events of the last few months to give you a general impression of the things that happened. Let's start with the bad news, and go through the good news after that!
 
The reason for the lack of updates is that during the last few months, most of the members have been very busy in their own lifes and didn't have spare time to help with TDU World development. This also lead to some members having to leave the project. As a result of this, development has been on a halt because we were stuck. As of now, we do not know if these members are still interested in coming back, but they are welcome to return. We will also not contact the members ourselves to respect their choice and privacy.
 
Luckily, we recently got some new developers on the team that offered to help with the server development of the project. Some members that had been very busy in their own lives have also returned to contribute again. We are very excited to see that things are happening again!
 
As of now, we still can't provide any information on a possible release date, since the development is still in an early stage. Once we have news, it will be posted on the Announcements section!
 
We hope we have provided everyone with a good impression of the last few months.
