OK just found this thread ... Diablo did warn you Not too sure why you chopped the roof off a GT ... BUT CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CONVERT A BRERA INTO A BRERA SPIDER ! You will obviously need to chop the roof off, and remove the rear seats, and if you're going the whole hog the rear bumper skin is very slightly different between the 2 cars ... if you need any pics I can supply as many as you want (for obvious reasons) if you could change the interior to a 08MY that would be great, and if you can mod wheels too that would be even better as an Limited Edition would just be the best thing in the world Then I'd just need to go and buy a new laptop (or use my work one) and a copy of the game on PC!!!!!

Well McLaren are going through with the appeal ... I think it was great that Niki Lauda has slammed the decision ... see even a Ferrari man thinks it's silly ... lets just hope the Max and Bernie roadshow see sense!

Well I guess we'll soon find out ... I for one don't think it'll cause the end of the world ... but then I'm not a partical physisist (or however many eyes and esses i need there) there was a programme about it on BBC4 the other night (how cultured am i?) and the most interesting thing that all the scientists talked about on the programme was what if they don't find the Higgs boson, otherwise known as the God Particle ... now THAT would open a hell of a lot of questions about physics and the uiniverse we live in here's hoping we can write on the forum tomorrow night !

Well the map from what I remember didn't cover every bit of road in the game, obviously the in-game one does ... and once you've driven everywhere you don't really need it, it was only really useful for finding the dealers and tuners ... but then you need to drive every bit of road (or sector at least) to get the achievement and not forgetting you need to 'find' the events by driving past them. Also you'll want to drive all the roads to jump to friends ... could be a right pain if a friend is on a bit of road you haven't driven yet!

OK I said I would NEVER again post on the F1 threads because of some immature attitudes in these threads. But WOW what a finale to a race, me and my Mum (my Mum is a Lewis Fan-woman ... she thinks he's a lovely lad ... ahh bless!) were literally on the edge of our seats watching the race ... the best and most exciting bit of F1 racing I'v seen in years ... and actually a damn shame that Kimi lost it and hit the wall as I'd have liked the battle between him and Lewis to have continued all the way to the finish line. As to the post race news ... once again the Stewards/FIA ruin the sport ... I hope for the sake on the sport, and not for the sake of Lewis, that there is enough evidence to prove that Lewis had to take evasive action as him and Kimi battled for the same bit of the final chicane and that Lewis lifted to some extent to rightfully let Kimi back into the lead ... and surely a 25sec penalty is harsh in what seemed like a proper, normal racing battle like there should be. Thank you Kimi and Lewis for a great race, definitely the race of the season. Lets hope it isn't forever remembered as a great battle that was ultimately won by the stewards!

have to agree with you there Nige, I think I say I'm British more than I say I'm English ... I am listed as a British Citizen afterall As to my liking of 'british' sports ... never been into Cricket ... too slow and boring in my mind ... I do like the 'national game', only watch rugby when it's the major internationals (6 nations and world cup), I like watching tennis, but only wimbledon ... but I mainly like watching Motorsport ... F1 and MotoGP to be precise ... where at present I support a British driver for a British team with a german engine in F1 and an Italian rider for a Japanese team in the motoGP

not as good as the 'Amarillo' one done by our Forces as to Iraq/Afghan vids on youtube ... if you want to see some cool stuff ... do a search on "low level fly past" there's a cool vid with Harrier ... and if you want to see a REALLY LOW fly past look for the one containing a Spitfire ... then watch the gap between the aircraft and it's shadow on the ground !

Right ... The LF-A was meant to come out as a flagship model for Lexus ... However something called the GT-R arrived and drove around some piece of road in Germany And something that at the moment is being called the NSX-replacement arrived in disguised form and drove around the same bit of road And something called a ZR1 arrived and drove some more around the same bit of road And some team called Toyota F1 still hasn't joined the big boys And then Toyota/Lexus realised perhaps the LF-A isn't as quick as they hoped and why would you pay Lambo / Ferrari money for a fast Japanese supercar when there was one already by a competitor for a lot less money As to if it's truely been canned ... I'm not too sure ... Oh and the FT-HS concept was meant as a 'future realisation' of the Supra ... still might never happen And the Celica replacement is rumoured to be developed with Subaru using the current Impreza platform, but RWD only and most probably still using a Subaru engine ... Subaru will also have a small coupe ... and I think it might just be a few 'styling tweaks' to differentiate between the cars

I used to Trade heavily ... don't so much now as tWm says ... most trade happens on the 'Prize cars' (the ones with a price of ---,--- credits on the showrooms that you get for completing certain races or reaching certain goals) ... or cars that take a while to arrive in the showroom the best advice for Trade, if you want to get into it, is to look at it over a few days and note the prices of things ... most vehicles end up having a 'price' that people will buy at ... oh and you'll always get people who put cars up for 8+ mil ... they hardly ever shift tho Oh and can someone please start buying Mustang GT-Rs again ... I've still got a 'few' up for sale, all at reasonable prices !

yeah GOD is Diablo ... you'll soon get used to some of the very random stuff that happens on this forum Well the photo upload worked great on Forza 2 ... but then that's Microsoft for you

sorry but the photo upload to the test drive website doesn't work on the 360 ... never has done never will do I guess ... hopefully they'll change it if/when TDU2 surfaces the only way to post pics is either to take a pic of your screen with a camera and upload it to the forum or to use some form of capture card thingy (ask diablo)

on the main (driving) screen where you have the mini map in the bottom left hand corner there should be a number in a box ... this number will vary from 1 to 8, that is the number of people currently in your server and obviously who you can hear. if you want to remain with them don't forget to 'lock' to them ... left on the d-pad till you get to the gamertags, then down to the person you want, then right twice oh and if you jump to the main map you lose the lock, but you can filter the map to search for your friends

I've never bought a MC game before ... bought a few NFS games I'm still praying that TDU2 isn't too far off in the horizon

Welcome to TDU-C Some advice from me ... Firstly don't going buying cars for the hell of it The best plan is to buy the cars you need for the events. I did it by just driving round to discover all the events and slowly going through them one by one Same for houses, only buy a house when you need another car space ... and also the prices vary a lot ... I tended to buy the cheaper ones Model missions only give you tokens for clothes, if you PERFECT them all you get enough tokens for all the clothes Car Delivery - ONLY finish these if you have a PERFECT score as you get a big extra money bonus, as Nodz says they are a good way of getting cash to start with and as he also says, DON'T drive over the mountain pass on the Gullwing delivery, drive south to the dual carriageway and around the mountains, the GPS will soon catch up and give you a new route! Courier - as before, quit them early if you think you're going to fail Hitchhiker - boring really General thing for most of the Hitchhiker and Model missions is to do about 120mph, this normally gets you there in time and is also a lot easier to react, than blasting along at over that speed. In terms of the online stuff, to be honest the online races are normally rubbish and I gave them up ages ago as they tend to be populated by kids in Saleen S7s and so makes for very dull racing events you'll have fun with (get annoyed with), when you finally get to them are Tantalus (sorry if the spelling is off) and the Millionaires run ... there's a knack for both Basically just take your time and slowly work through the events, if you've done everything and you can't find any more events drive around the island, on the main map screen any road you've driven turns blue, and you need to discover the events. and if you get stuck search the forum, as most things have already been asked and answered ... if not I'm sure some of us can help you and most of all, have fun, it's a great game

just seen the trailer for no 4 ... it's on Autoblog today if you want to see it ... looks miles better than Tokyo drift ... but that's not saying much ... but hey it's got Vin, Weller, Rodriquez & Brewster in it ... what's this couples do cars????? Oh anyone notice the RS200 in the trailer !!!!!

anyone going to get this? I like the trailers so far just wonder what the online is going to be like ... TDU style or Burnout style
