  1. Thanks all. It is all I been doing is dusting it, the shiny plastic its made from just attracts the dust and when you dust it you touch the touch sensitive buttons and end up turning it up changing the chanel then finally turning it off. but I can live with that.
  2. Well i went for it yesterday and decided to get my new TV. Its a Samsung Series 6 32" (LE32A656). Its only been out for about 2 weeks, found it on the net for £650 + £40 delivery (net price) so I went to that distributers store but the had it up for the normal £1099 price tag, so I got chatting to the salesman and got it down to £700, bargain. But then had another probelm getting it into Shar's TF which didn't happen so had to call her dad out in the van. got it home in the end tho. So heres a pic and a few tech specs: Its got: Full HD 1920x1080p 100Hz Analogue/Digital Freeview Colour: crystal design (Rose Black) Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 15,000:1 DNIe Pro Input & Output (side) - 1 X S-Video / 1 X HDMI / 1 X Composite / 1 X Headphone Input & Output (rear) - 1 X RF Input / 1 X Component / 2 X Scart / 3 X HDMI / 1 X PC Input (D-sub) / 1 X Audio Out / 1 X Optical Sound Out The on off button and volume/chanel controls on the front bottom right hand corner are touch sensitive. Its got loads of stuff in the set up menu's so it's gonna take me a while to get it set up perfectly, that'll give me something to do, just got to send the 360 off now so I can have some big screen gaming.
  3. I don't think we should have one. My reason is stuff like that goes in general chat section (or what ever its called). We don;t have that much TV chat all there is is the odd Reality thread which lasts until the end of the series TG and skins thats about it not alot in comparison to other sections.

    New Company Car!

I'm lucky I claim my Desiel for my van back in expenses (normally between £50 and £150 per week) and Shar drives out of work so I have no feul bill :D. But thats soon to change as she's moaning as her car has now done over 50k and she is always paying for petrol so an RX8 is on the cards atm (until I change my mind again)
  10. Not suprising really, they have the new version of midnight club due soon and probably some other games so pushing it back til after xmas when they probably ain't releasing anything works better for them. Also they are probably making the the next GTA in the IV series. Which will probably be VC or SA.
  11. It was ok til about series 3 or 4 then it just become boring as its on every year with no break. They need to have a few years off and then bring it back but saying that I think reality tv has had its time now and we need something new on T.V.
  12. I'm up for some of this when I get my box back, thats if anyone is still playing by that time.
  13. Hope this helps Khevo: How does Feed Headlines work? Feed Headlines can display frequently updated headlines from a website that supplies feeds, also known as RSS feeds, XML feeds, syndicated content, or web feeds. Websites often use feeds to distribute news and blogs. To receive feeds, you need an Internet connection. By default, Feed Headlines won't display any headlines. To start displaying a small set of preselected headlines, click View headlines. Feed Headlines When you point to Feed Headlines, the Close and Options buttons will appear near the upper-right corner of the gadget. Clicking the Options button allows you to choose from a list of available feeds. You can add to the list by choosing your own feeds from the web. To choose a feed from the web with Internet Explorer Internet Explorer, a web browser included with Windows, looks for feeds on every webpage you visit. 1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer. 2. Browse to a webpage that has feeds. (When Internet Explorer finds available feeds, the Feeds button , located on the Internet Explorer toolbar, will change from gray to orange.) 3. Click the arrow next to the Feeds button, and then, in the list that appears, click the feed you want. 4. On the webpage that appears, click Subscribe to this feed. 5. In the dialog box that appears, click Subscribe. The feed should now be available to Feed Headlines. To display the feed in Feed Headlines, see the procedure below. To display a feed in the Feed Headlines gadget 1. Point to Feed Headlines, and then click the Options button. 2. In the Display this feed list, click the feed you want to display. 3. Click OK. NoteTo scroll through the headlines, point to Feed Headlines, and then click the downward- or upward-pointing arrows that appear on the bottom edge. New Company Car!

Well as Crude oil hit $139 a barrel yesterday the average is around £1.30 a litre so you could be paying alot more especially at motoway services. The reason deisel is not cheap is due to a new standard ships have to meet by using bio desiel by 2012 or something so the demand for it is more hence why desiel is more expensive and why truckers, fisherman are protesting. I think we should do what the french do block the roads and the ports for a few days, the trouble is people wont do it as tyhey'll probably get prosecuted where as our french counterparts do not.
  17. If there is a scratch on it use toothpaste it works a treat, if you don't believe me search for toothpaste on this forum and there should be a couple of threads about it.

  19. We wont be getting much on the ring this weekend as Rock AM Ring is on (the big rock festival) with Metallica and RATM, etc.
  20. You can use star power by pushing select on Ps and back on 360, thats why people prefered the SG to the xplorer
  21. Just found this on autoblog, the plane used carshed the next day. Plane used in Honda skydiving ad crashed next flight Mere hours after Honda's impressive skydiving commercial named "Jump" aired live in Europe, the plane used in the spot crashed and claimed the lives of its pilot and a skydiver. Nine other skydivers aboard the plane, a Pilatus PC-6, were fortunately able to escape before the crash. While Honda has extended its condolences to the victims' families, the automaker was apparently in no way connected to the incident. The sky divers in Honda's commercial and the production crew had all moved on by then, but it's a little creepy to think of what would've happened if this tragedy had occurred on live television. The crash occurred in Toledo, Spain after the aircraft lost a wing, the cause of which is not yet known. Thanks to Satish for the tip. [source: BBC]
  22. PlayStation & Nissan’s GT Academy goes live today! 4 Jun Oh yes. PlayStation and Nissan’s GT Academy is live! Official release below… Log onto www.gtacademy.eu to start your journey in the ultimate driving competition courtesy of PlayStation, Nissan and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue™ The ultimate competitive driving test began today as pan-European competition GT Academy went live in PLAYSTATION®3 title Gran Turismo 5 Prologue™. The competition will see entrants compete for a place in a real-life racing academy at the UK’s Silverstone track. Created by PlayStation and Nissan, GT Academy is designed to unite the worlds of virtual and real-life racing and make the dreams of aspiring race drivers a reality. The competition is open to residents of the UK & Ireland, France, Italy, Germany & Austria, Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. To enter, PS3 owners must register their PLAYSTATION®Network sign-in ID on www.gtacademy.eu. The next time they play Gran Turismo 5 Prologue online on PSN, they will be able to race in the GT Academy Time Trial where they will compete to be the fastest around the Eiger Nordwand track in a Nissan Fairlady Z Version S ‘07. Players can continue trying to improve their fastest time until the competition closes on July 18, 2008. Following the close of this phase of the competition, the fastest 20 drivers in each country will be invited to a national final to compete head-to-head on Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. The fastest three drivers from each national final will then travel to Silverstone, the home of British motor racing, to take part in the GT Academy - a real-life driving competition on the Silverstone track itself. Competitors will not only have to prove their driving skills in a real-life Nissan GT-R but will also have their mental and physical skills assessed in a series of tests. The two fastest drivers from Silverstone then have the chance to enter a four-month training programme to earn their racing licenses and take part in a real life race, driving a fully race-prepared Nissan 350Z at the 24 Hour endurance event in Dubai in January 2009. Speaking at the Nurburgring 24H race last weekend, Kazunori Yamauchi, Head of Polyphony Digital producers of Gran Turismo said: “This is a very exciting day for Gran Turismo. The Gran Turismo story started 10 years ago with the ambition to make a racing game that gives players the ultimate driving simulation experience. The GT Academy is the ultimate realisation of this ambition, taking the Gran Turismo experience to the next level.
