  1. 38/50 from a 17 year old (we can't drive till we're 18 here in Singapore) living halfway round the world. (Is that a pass btw?) Some things I had no idea though... What's a pelican crossing? What's a toucan crossing? Doesn't overloading your vehicle affect the vehicle's handling as a whole instead of just the steering? Think i'll go give the other tests a try now...
  2. To be honest, some of the questions here are actually pretty common sense...
  3. Those are some really haunting shots... Excellent pictures, but that place really creeps me out. E.g. I don't know why, but I find all that peeling paint in the 4th shot really really scary...
  4. The name rings a bell but i can't actually remember you. Sorry... :o It's been a long time since i was at NFSA...

  5. Nice rant. I think you'll find many people on this forum who feel exactly the same as you do with regards to wanting stuff in a game
  6. Your Grade: D+ 67% You Barely Passed And I'm Asian! :D But really though, some of the laws they have there are pretty stupid... Pedestrians having the right of way? Come on! It's them who should be careful when on the road because you can't just step in front of a car doing 40mph whenever you feel like it!
  7. I'd take the Corvette on the previous page and skip this one. The Probe looks like one of those typically stodgily designed American cars from the 90s, those that had utterly no inspiration behind them with woefully underpowered engines and soggier-than-a-sponge suspension. The Tigra on the other hand, just looks girly.
  8. Chaser, because i've seen one of those in the flesh before as a drift car. Also, the Tourer V looks pretty good (did a search on google)
  9. Alright, could be worse: I am Little Jacob - Play Free Online Games You're a good friend. You're always available to help out, you love to have a good time, and you understand when to be serious.
  10. Looks very promising. I like it a lot. I can't really make the comparison with DiRT 1 though. I'm sure it was a pretty good game, but the one thing which stopped me enjoying it (and it was a very big thing) was the freaking STARFORCE COPYRIGHT PROTECTION!. Because of that stupid program which (secretly) installs itself onto your com whether you like it or not, my dad has barred me from installing any Starforce-protected games onto the computer. I really really REALLY hope Codemasters have dropped the Starforce thing for this game, and all games in the future
  11. Good luck!
  12. wow. If there was any thread that needed to be bumped, it's this...
  13. Is it just me, or does this just look more naff with each successive update?
  14. Utterly brilliant! He's obviously learned only the best things in the world :D
  15. Ok, killing such a huge number of animals so callously (airstrikes? i mean, come on... Even if that were just hyperbole, shooting so many at one go is still pretty damn cold) really isn't a nice thing to think about, but there is a sense of hypocrisy about what that newsreader is saying...
  16. Hmmm. Damage doesn't look convincing at all
  17. Now here's a really old one that i found http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/1carfreak1/Test%20Drive%20Unlimited/20080729180359edit.jpg Only things i've edited are contrast/exposure, and saturation. Should be ok right?
  18. Volvo. It's a very safe, practical, sensible family car and doesn't look half bad. I'd say its design has aged pretty well over the last 7 years
  19. Probably not, but the Phaeton really deserves to succeed. It's is actually a very good car, as much car as anybody looking for a big quiet limo could ever want. The only thing holding it back in Europe is the badge. People just won't pay that sort of money for a VW, no matter how good it is. Stateside though, i reckon it'll do better. Americans usually aren't such snobs when it comes to brands (just compare Lexus sales in the US and Europe during the 90s)
  20. Wow. Looks like fun. And only £10! Amazing value. Did you get a glimpse of Hammond's Aeromax? And how open were the staff that day? Were they willingly answering questions, just going about their business or keeping absolutely mum (like i imagine they do in large companies)?
  21. My turn: Cadillac CTS-V Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst S (I know it's technically Australian, but bear with me)
  22. Too many great entries this week... HTF, Carboy, Baldy, TDU505, Variodical, EyeKatcher,Y00 Pay... In the end, I voted for yoe_driver. Not a view many would spot, and not a subject many would shoot either. This is definitely the hardest PhOTW vote i've had to give in a while... Great work everyone!
  23. Agree 100%. The rear and side views are actually pretty good, if rather similar to the old Arnage. The front though, for some reason really reminds me of the Daihatsu Copen, except much squarer and, like every one says, uglier. Early facelift, methinks? And yeah I can just about imagine something like this getting the Pimp My Ride treatment. Would never have happened to the Arnage though... Much too grand and stately for that. This Mulsanne though, actually looks rather cheap...
