  1. Nothing except that your Audi fanboyism goes a bit over the edge sometimes :cheeky: You're not supposed to take me seriously, nobody else does either ;)
  2. I think you just answered yourself :p But if we go on this line, I'll drive a civic in November, we also have a CRV and an XC90 that I can drive then. Later when I get a job and stuff I'll get something more expensive, like a Toyota GT86. When I get really rich and famous I'll drive a Lamborghini or a Ferrari or a Porsche. Maybe I'll also become a racing driver, maybe driving a Red Bull F1 car. When I get old, I'll get a Maserati Quattroporte and hire a driver. That's what this guy drives in real life! :cheeky:
  3. Do you like swimming in money? :hmmm:
  4. Not sure about the point of your post :hmmm:
  5. Love it, thank you very much! :) +rep
  6. Yes, I think I read that somewhere. They had got so much criticism for going from good rally games to all this Ken Block stuff that they made this game, which is a full on Ken Block simulator so that they can focus on rallying in the next DiRT.
  7. They're doing this because they want to make DiRT 4 a proper rally game ;)
  8. Ever tried TDU1? It even has a better handling model!
  9. Sweet :D Looking forward to it :)
  10. That RS4 O___________O Want more pics of wednesday evening though :cheeky:
  11. First render failed so I didn't upload it. Gonna try again maybe today as the vid is basically done :p
  12. I'm interested :hmmm:

  14. Anything I've said before testing it is invalid :p
  15. Liking the new seats mate :p
  16. I'll be in with my new working pedals (♥) if we're doing this :p
  17. Thank you sir, I'll consider it :)
  18. So, I'm not seeing many reviews on this thread so I thought I'd be the combo-breaker. I'll cut the long story short though. The cars, like most cars in TDU2 are really detailed. Especially the Ferrari F40 and the GTO caught my eye. The bikes look pretty good aswell. I have not touched any of the new clothes or furniture and I haven't bought anything. In my opinion, it was really stupid to give us 3 bikes, but not one of them is free! I don't care about the cars costing money as we do have cars in the game already. Can't really judge the new sounds either as I didn't like them before and didn't like them after the patch. They have added several car shops to the islands and most of the new dealerships have old cars with an addition of a few DLC cars (including the preorder ones). This has created some confusion as people have thought that they removed the standard models of the preorder cars alltogether (which is not the case). What's more lovely than walking into a dealership and seeing 4 different Veyrons in a row? Garage spot management is a minor update, I don't need it that much (so I didn't test it either) but it basically works by going to the list in the garage and then it asks you whether you wanna see your car list or move cars. I never realized how the headlight control feature worked, the flash lights button still flashes the lights (though this time the rearlights also light up, just like they do when it becomes dark) and there wasn't anything like it added in the controls. Not that I'd care that much anyways. I thought the instant island change worked by going to the pause menu and choosing it there or something. Instead we got the option to change the island by selecting the airport from the map and instead of "Go there" you can choose "Fly to Hawaii/Ibiza". Minor improvement, could have lived without this too but still, better than nothing. Bike handling is quite much like TDU1's, though I only tested them once so I might be wrong too  Damn that Harley would be a great cruiser though. Then we come to the big question; car handling after the FFB improvements. It's still obviously horrible. But now they have apparently removed the last bits of drivability. When going into the game, the wheel is just dead. Only things you can feel are the side of the road and crashes/bumps because they're vibration effects. I don't know what they wanted with the FFB improvements but they only made things worse. Even the center spring of my Fanatec GT2 decided to not like the game and turned itself off. If ANYONE is thinking of making the same mistake as I did (downloading ages at 20kbps just to test the "wheel improvements"), do NOT bother. On a scale of Get it/Consider it/Don't get it, it's definitely Don't get it. Waiting for TDU3 by SMS...
  19. It's SCHWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! :D
  20. You are a god
  21. Thanks guys :D Threw one more together real quickly :p Result is that the lights reflecting from the ground look crap, otherwise it's okay I guess :hmmm: Tom:
  22. Congrats once again mate :) Use your powers wisely (as in don't ban me :p)
  23. Yes, I know that teachers usually say how "things growing out of things" may ruin photos (my arts teacher used to say that aswell) but after all, imho it only looks bad if it's a portrait as there it may look dumb, because making some lampposts/traffic signs behind a bloody car disappear would be quite hard AND they belong in the street view after all :p Photography teachers are useless anyways. You gotta come up with your own way of taking photos. For me it is not thinking about trees behind a car when taking photos of it ;)
