    eugh things are getting outright insane over at tdu2.com - not eve in a funny way. anyone been there lately? one guy is even threatening suicide over the non release of the exp pack to 360...

      the latest patch has already been submitted to sony and microsoft so i'd say it's very likely this one will be unaffected by the strike... fixing further issues however could be a different question...

      hard to allocate blame without really knowing exactly who is responsible for what. one thing is for sure tdu2 deserves to have more resources put behind it...

        downloaded to mu and set aside for later experimentation - just give the word... in the meantime the update was taken off of xbox marketplace pretty sharpish. i don't expect any finallity to this today...

        it's certainly a touch smoother than the ps3 version. ps3 does have those "exclusive" cars though... plus the 458... going through the game twice off the bat makes for slow work though lol

        the lost game save issue needs addressing - if the game doesn't work properly the game isn't going to be very prolific once word gets around.

        aww the air brake doesn't move accurately does it - otherwise we would have seen a clip of it doing it's job surely?

        might be a patch waiting for launch day - maybe waiting till at least tuesday might be an idea? personally i think a custom button config option is more important than any of those listed by elder (which i also fully expect to be completely ignored in every patch we ever get).

        i really must be in the minority - i only see plusses in all this. were there complaints like this for soulcalibur 4 when it came to light you could have either yoda or darth vader? eventually both were available via dlc - the parallels are there ;)

        not sure if this has been reported already but i've just got back from a visit to my local 'game' store. i was asking about their method of transmitting the pre-order bonus content - a card is given containing the dlc codes apparently. i was also told that they have stopped guarenteeing people who pre-order with them the bonus content (veyron and casino). effective as of feb 1st. apparently they have run out (?!?!). if you have pre-ordered with game after feb 1st please return to the store you pre-ordered from and check that you will get your bonus material!

        i really would prefer the "play your way" mentality diab was on about resonated through the options page. hoping if it's not already an option to change button assignment that one can be considered and implemented.

        i'm in a bit of a panic about button assignment. in tdu1 i had the choice of picking preset setup 3 and using 'A' (360 controller) to accelerate with and the triggers for my gears. some have implied i may not have a choice for tdu2 and would be forced to use triggers for accelerate and brake. i find this completely uncomfortable and have also heard others mention their fingers get tired playing this way. please can someone tell me what the facts are?

        pre-ordered last may :P xbox 360 - fizzkid2000 - amazon.co.uk and game ps3 - fizzkid2000 - play.com 3 copies so i guess i'll have to go on the list 3 times unless you think onnce is enough (where i'm concerned it usually is XD)

        just reading a few comments about the games content so i thought i'd mention the display boxes that are now adorning shelves in various retailers. one thing that caught my eye about them is the pegi ratings: 12, 'sex', 'strong language', 'gambling' and 'online'. maybe by the look of the cocktails at the casino alcoholism should be added too? lol

        oh yes i'll happily call it paranoia lol. trouble is in these times complete and total paranoia is the safest way. i want my tdu save safe so i'll be coming back to tdu regularly just to avoid the kind of trouble i've heard so much about.

        yup i'm serious - i'm not willing to risk going a 10month gap between saves on tdu lest i come back to find my save voided. everyone i've spoken to that has gone through extended away period from tdu on 360 has returned to find their gamesave is useless. i'm just saying what have you got to lose by loading up once or twice every 6 months? whereas if you leave the game and go through tdu2 and a few side games and come back after a year or so to find your save is useless you will have lost it all. i'm not saying it's a fact your game will be useless unless you play it every 6 months. i'm saying i've heard too many stories and have too much to lose to risk otherwise.

        1st - shame on you for being away that long. 2nd - try going 9-10months like most will do once tdu2 comes out and see if your save is intact. see i've never lost my save this way but ask alan16ac - he lost he save just because he hadn't played the game in a long time. i have no idea what sort of time limit runs a risk but i'm not willing to chance it knowing it takes at least $170,000,000 to get everthing back. but if you don't care for my advice simply don't take it. i'll still be checking back in regularly to keep the date on my save current. you only have to make it to your house for it to update the save after all...

        i for one won't even be leaving tdu1 for long since you need to keep your save current in order for it not to be considered void. once a month i'll pop in at least just to be on the safe side. no idea if pc is the same but if everyone on 360 wants to keep their save i advise you do similar :)
