1. Just 8 hours to go till the season officially starts with first practice in Melbourne! Sadly thanks to being a proper adult people I can't watch it this year. Damn job requiring me to actually work. :( But woooo, F1. :)
2. Automatron, Automatron! Coming Next Week Let's get this out of the way first. Automatron, Automatron, Automatron, Autom-atron. Automatron! Right now that's been dealt with, I'm here to bring the new news that the first DLC for Fallout 4 will be landing next week on Tuesday, March the 22nd for all platforms. That means it's almost time to hunt down evil hordes of robots to build an even evilier [this really should be a word] robot companion by customising it from hundreds of parts. Check out the Automatron trailer below. It's very official and it's definitely the Automatron DLC. How cool are those Automatron robot ears near the end? I want a pair!
3. Forza Motorsport 6 Meguiar's Pack Out Now This is an interesting car pack for sure. At one end of the scale you have the 1934 Alfa Romeo P3 that was pushing the boundaries of motorsport over 8 decades ago and then at the other end of the scale you have the magnificent Ferrari 488 GTB which just simply pushes the boundaries of your body. And then you mustn't miss the obligatory modern racecar, because racecar. There's a treat for you this month as you have 2 to choose from, a new Corvette *yawn* or the rather tasty Jaguar XJR-9 as well as the aforementioned old school Alfa Romeo P3. [caption id=attachment_4498" align="aligncenter" width="800] 1934 Alfa Romeo P3[/caption] Available now - assuming that it is the 15th of March or later for you which I should hope it is otherwise there is something seriously wrong - this pack which is the last to be included within the Car Pass is free to owners of that, can be bought as a typical standalone pack or for those who only want to pick up a vehicle or few, can be purchased separately. 4. Got a feeling this will be a close one. Imagine what I could do if tuning was allowed. :p
5. Will be streaming The Division again in a few minutes. Twitch
6. Hot hatches may be FWD but they're still mighty fun to drive. Also easier to drive so might give you all more of a chance. :p
7. [headline]Blast from the past[/headline] What's this about? Think of it as turboduck's own Rivals, but with some proper rivalry in the community. The Rules: You must use the car (or a car that meets the restrictions) and track chosen by the previous winner. Tuning/Setups are NOT allowed this week. Dirty laps do not count, stay off the lawn kids. Laps do not have to be from a standing start (flying laps count). If you already have a faster lap recorded outside of the competition, this does not count, you must record another and take a picture for proof. Banana for scale. If you win, don't forget to chose a car/track for the next week before Monday! Make sure to do your times in RIVALS (or free play), they will not be recorded in test drive. The time attack ends Saturday at 23:59 GMT and the winner has 24 hours to choose, then it defaults to the person in second if no choice is made. First person to beat Camel wins a cookie. He's won all events he's entered and needs to be stopped before his head is too big to fit through the door. [headline]Week 14 (13th - 19th Mar)[/headline] Car: Ford Fiesta XR2 - Stock with no tuning Track: Lime Rock Park: Full Circuit Alt

Driver Time

hassan1995 1:17.345

Paladin Skylark 1:17.503

Great Idiot? 1:17.923

ViralBunny 1:18.557

Ozzmcom 1:19.554

carlos_69 1:20.292

8. I've chosen my car, which will remain stock for purposes of fairness. The track is being investigated using the aid of a Youtube video because I can't remember what tracks are in the game. :hmmm:
9. 1:42.344 is my final time with less than a minute to go. Did manage a 1:41.8 in tuning but ran out of time in rivals mode. :(
10. My eyes need a rest now so no more TD tonight.
11. The Division is at the top of my list this weekend. Such an awesome game. In the beta the map didn't seem all that big but as I've been playing the full game, the map is actually huge and full of stuff to do. The main missions are pretty good as well with most of them so far taking between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the difficulty level and if I'm doing them solo. Can't get enough of it. Also a bit of Forza for the tduck time trial.
12. :welcome: Watch out for the Scott, he bites.
13. It's a mini SUV. But in case that time doesn't count, here's another in the X5M. 1:43.094. A perfect lap would just about be enough to beat the time I set in the Juke but I don't have time or patience to keep trying. This one just shows Scotts time from above on the rivals leaderboard so you can see it's the right track and what not.
14. The Division - A Little Bit Divided The Division's launch is now a few days behind us, and overall it appears to be have been a successful launch minus a handful of hiccups. There were a few reports of people being unable to login to the game in the hours after the servers were enabled that gave some users the dreaded 'Mike' error. It was apparently named after our own Mike as the servers just refused to lift a finger and do any work! (hehe) I'm one of those boring people who has a job, so was unable to experience any of these issues as they had mostly been resolved by the time I got home. But I did encounter a somewhat annoying issue at the beginning of the game. Those of you that have played will know that at the start you need to activate your character in a safe house before you are let loose to raise havoc on the city of New York. This laptop however, for some people had other ideas and simply would not let more than 1 person activate at a given time, meaning the forming of an orderly queue became a bit of a side-quest for players. [caption id=attachment_4412" align="alignnone" width="800] "The Computer Says No"[/caption] This was quite problematic as activation requires holding a button for a couple of seconds. And with everyone eager to play the game this resulted in nobody being able to play the game when in certain servers. In fact it took me over an hour of pressing the square button, cooking dinner and even eating my dinner before I could play the game. But when I could, I found it quite enjoyable. The game blends two genres, a shooter with role-playing game mechanics and I have to say that they have done this rather well. The RPG elements aren't overly complicated and shouldn't put off those who are not really into levelling skills, choosing perks and what not. The shooter side is also nicely done with them striking a balance between single player enjoyment and playing in a team of people. [caption id=attachment_4415" align="alignnone" width="800] Yo Dog![/caption] Some people are not too sure on the game, but from who I've talked to about The Division, they all seem to enjoy it. Especially with the Easter eggs that have been scattered around New York, however I won't be the one to spoil these for you. How are you finding The Division yourself? Share your thoughts and experiences with us in the forums when you can tear yourself away from it.
15. I think I would, but only if it was to be the V8 engine. The back end looks pretty cool but damn, the front end looks amazing to me. Angry and intimidating as a car should be! I suppose you could get a German saloon but where's the fun in that?
16. I have managed to tune the roll-overness out of the Lambo before for a previous time trial but it just wasn't fast enough. But I want to win, not just not fall over. :cheeky:
17. That XJ220. This reminds me that I still need to buy the bike expansion too. :nods:
18. Oooo this should be fun. :nods: Let's see if my tuning methods work on tanks.
19. I'm just so damn good at Forza that the powers that be thought it was best that I'm not good at taking pictures as well. But not even a single vote? :( I call shenanigans!
20. Bet that was fun in the rain! But also shows some reasons why I won't do an open trackday. Will have a video of a snowy Snake Pass just after sunset when I get time to put the video together. Sadly my dashcam went full Camel and only recorded half the journey so I didn't get any video of the best part coming down an awesome wooded lane. :(
21. It does but it puts the rain tyres on automatically. Just did a 2:17.442 but I screwed up the middle sector and lost half a second and didn't do too great in the last couple of corners. *flaps* I know I can get down to 2:16 but I just don't have the patience right now. My KTM has 435bhp, 305lb-ft of torque and weighs 899KGs. Fully locked diff and I can still power out of most corners at full throttle without it wanting to spin.
22. And do what with it? Make a vacuum, which didn't work for me even when using 5mm internal diameter tubing on an 8mm bleeder head. It pulled brake fluid from the caliper and also air from outside of the caliper so I ended up with more air in the caliper than I started with. I also didn't need to go anywhere to get anything for this or buy anything. :hmmm:
