Well your GPU needs 28A and I personally like to have an extra 15-20 or so amps to supply power to everything else that runs on 12V. This includes fans with LEDs(can draw as much as 0.5A per LED fan) which soon adds up if you have 5 or 6, hard drives, motherboard and CPU. To get from amps to watts you should multiply the amps by 12volts which is 576watts to be on the safe side. But make sure it's a known good brand. USB shouldn't affect it as USB runs on 5V.

I'll try and make at least some of the races this season! But sadly the times don't suit me very well anymore. Why is the world so big!!!!??? Won't be able to make the 2nd race for obvious reasons but I don't think I have anything planned next Saturday afternoon. Not yet anyway.

Could well be the PSU. I know it's a silly name but they're pretty good iirc. How old is it? Just had a look and the PSU supplies 37amps on the single 12v rail and the GPU requires *upto* 28. On top of most of the other components in the PSU. When gaming you've probably been stressing it quite a bit and then leaving it on for a long time might just have been too much. Might be worth trying to see if you can borrow another working PSU and seeing if the PC works with that.

It is indeed a fun car and the track is pretty enjoyable with it. Watch out for the square shaped hairpin though as the dirty markers are a bit iffy on the second inside curb and the exit one. Any more than a foot or so of your car on the curb and it's a dirty lap! 2:07.824

I like FWDs, especially the smaller ones as you can really thrash them about. I do however hate the Bugatti circuit with a passion which I believe I have mentioned here before. :lol: It just has no flow but it might not be too bad with a slowish car. :hmmm:

33.853 Another strange situation with the Forza physics engine. Car handles differently in tuning mode compared to rivals. 8/10 or so of the laps in tuning mode were fast and clean. But in rivals mode it was a struggle to get 2/10 clean laps. Same car, same track, same weather, same temperature but it handles differently. Full lock doesn't make the car slide but a bit under full lock and it'll spin out in rivals mode. This doesn't happen in tuning mode. Don't understand why it's doing this every couple of weeks. :panic: And if I use less steering lock than would make it spin I can go even faster in rivals mode but it has to be a perfect turn in and corner exit(managed 33.6** but it was dirty from the previous lap). This doesn't happen in tuning mode. I just understeer straight into the walls. :hmmm:

I had it on the PC when it first came out but soon got bored of it when the people I played with stopped playing it and borrowed it when it came out on the consoles. Haven't had chance to play with the seasons but I wouldn't mind picking the game up again if I can find it cheap and find the time to play it. So thanks for making me want to spend money. :cheeky:

That's still a long time on what is a 34 second lap. Would be 4 to 5 seconds behind on a track like Spa. :cheeky:
