I found out that you don't have to drop them onto other blocks to combine them. You can drag them sideways which is soooooo much easier.

How do you know? First time around something might not have installed correctly or an outdated/incorrect driver has been installed. It does happen. It's all well and good saying a reinstall won't solve the problem but until you try it, you won't know for sure. If it was me having these problems and a hardware fault couldn't be detected I would shrink the size of the partition and make a second partition big enough to install to install a second fresh copy of Windows. If it fixes the issue then great, I can copy all my files over and remove the old partition. If not then delete the new partition and resume using the old one.

A quick gewgul of the motherboard and RAM shows up a fair few barebones bundles so it doesn't look like a compatibility issue. Have you tried starting fresh with a new installation of Windows? Install just updates and the drivers you need without anything else extra and see how you go.

That's for the XBOne though isn't it? I'm having problems on the PS4 and PC.

I managed to get a controller setup that worked well for me. But only in the GT3 cars and the Ariel Atom. Everything else I tried was far too twitchy as the wheels go full lock to full lock stupidly fast at low speed and to an extent at a higher speed. But racing the M3 GT3 around Barcelona was great fun. Until I ruined the tryes after 5 flying laps. :eek:

Search devices and printers then right click on the icon for your computer and choose device install settings I think it is. Should be able to stop it from installing any drivers automatically.

Apart from in qualifying. I only had enough fuel to finish the lap I was on and do one more and not enough time to pit and do another out lap. Bah.

It seems quite inconsistent in this though. In the karting championship there are some corners that you get get all 4 wheels on the grass and not have the lap invalidated. Some corners where you can get away with it sometimes and others where you get 2 wheels slightly on the grass and it invalidates your lap. Still, it's not as bas the the Driveclub corner cutting penalties. :lol:

Well, so far I'm not enjoying it. :lol: The AI seem to go out of their way just to nudge you into a wall or off the track. If they make contact with you, you lose pretty much all steering even if it's just a tap but they carry on like nothing happened. If I nudge them, I lose steering again and they carry on as if nothing happened. Did a race in a thunderstorm and the only tyres I could choose from were slicks or summer tyres which meant I had no chance of keeping up with anyone. Try to follow the same line as the AI at a much slower speed than them but it's still too fast. And the lap invalidated thing is just awesome. 2 wheels off on the outside of the track on the start finish straight at brands hatch and my current lap and next lap are invalidated. It slowed me down, how could I get an advantage from going slower on a straight. :fp: But driving around a track on my own for the most part is fine when I can choose suitable tyres. Also noticed that on some tracks if you go on the rumble strips the game seems to run at half speed and as soon as you come off the rumble strips it runs at lightning speed and launches you into what ever you were facing.

RAM could cause that. A lot of BIOS/UEIEIFIEIFIEIE have a memtest of sorts built in to them so I'd say that should be the second thing to do. The third thing should be a reformat and clean install of Windows. Only put on the necessary drivers and see how it goes just browsing the internet, listening to music or whatever but stay out of games. The first thing would be to double and triple check that everything is seated correctly, including the CPU. How were you monitoring the temps? Was it a log or just the current readings? CPUs cool down very quickly as soon as they're not being utilised. Going back to the second thing. Take 3 sticks of RAM out and run then test, then swap the tested stick for an untested one until all have been tested. This will mean that if one of them is faulty you will know which one it is.

Swapped my Amazon pre-order for the PSN digital LE as it was only a fiver extra (and I really want the McLaren F1) and I get to play it a day earlier. :) Will be interesting to see how the PS4 version stacks up against my PC version.
