  1. This. We can't help you any other way.
  2. Glad I saved up my money instead of spending it on trucks now, want to take a good look at those Volvos when they arrive. :cheeese: On another note, just did a little counting and came to the conclusion I have 38 cities and ~65% of the map left to discover. xD I haven't done nearly as much as it feels like I have.
  3. No, I just didn't realize he was talking about a mod. :cheeky: Especially after I watched their sound-recording session with the Volvo FH 500 and them saying "Looks like we are going to welcome Volvo brand into ETS2". My apologies. :p And no, I don't run around looking at trucks all day so I wouldn't know what a Volvo truck looked like :P
  4. I've always wondered if something actually happens if you crash while carrying a load like that. Will the truck blow up or something? :p Volvo? :susp:
  5. I don't think you can actually get them for free, you need to buy them online for real money, which will in turn unlock them in the game.
  6. Thanks all :D Was very (mostly? :susp:) nice to read :) Will keep working on my teeth to get them ultra shiny :cheeese: Shush :para:
  7. I know that. Doesn't matter as most of the speed limits in the game are 90km/h, only at a few places have I seen 110. I don't want any mods.
  8. You will know if you go in to service/repair them. You will be given all the info about the truck there. And I haven't been able to feel any difference whatsoever in any of the trucks. They can all reach 90 km/h which is basically the only thing I need as that's the speed limit on most motorways. The differences are only aesthetic. Not decided yet if I should a) go for the one with the nicest interior which is where you spend the most time, b) go for the cheapest or c) be a brand snob.
  9. That reminds me of something else, my disc version of the game doesn't support nearly as many languages as the demo I played did. I played the Demo in Swedish but the full game doesn't have it. :hmmm: By the way, when you do buy your own trucks, does it matter someone which ones you get? They all seem very even in performance (I'm not playing any mods) and as far as I can see, the only differing thing is the price. Amirite?
  10. I have no idea who he is but I like him. What I find hilarious is how people in the US refuse to see the amount of countries in the world who are fine without everybody and their grandmother owning guns. "If the teachers had they would have been able to defend the children". If getting a hold of guns wasn't so damn easy, they probably wouldn't have had to in the first place.
  11. No it didn't. Nothing on that screen except where I actually choose my profile. :hmmm: Guess where I ran out of fuel? :fp:
  12. Is there a change log for all the patches somewhere? I upgraded from v1.0.5 to v1.2.5.1 today but the only change logs I can find only go back to v1.3. :hmmm:
  13. You got it today and already have €30,000? That took me days to get xD
  14. :birthday: Have a good one and I hope you didn't hit anyone while karting
  15. You do know that TDU Forums was taken down months ago? Only people who were members can still download, so we don't allow linking to it. Episode666, you will have to find it for yourself, but it's easy. Literally 5 seconds on Google is enough.
  16. I don't agree there patch. Ryzza, what level are you on? I wasn't aware there was such a difference between all the trucks :p
  17. What actually happens when you start buying your own trucks? :hmmm: What is you can do then that you can not before? I suck at the economy bit so I will play it safe and not buy anything until I've saved up enough money to afford it without taking a loan.
  18. I'm not sure how that road sign works in real life but in the game, all speed limit signs are in their correct units (ie they are in mph in the UK). Unless you really concentrate I find them hard to notice sometimes so I tend to look at the rest of the traffic to kind of confirm my suspicions. It only happens rarely that someone travels below it but when it does, I've noticed it seems to be in the urban areas. I was also surprised at the size of the demo when I got it. I played it for days and almost started thinking I had gotten the full game. :p I don't think there are any limitations to the game content but you can only play it for a few real life days or do x number of deliveries in-game, I'm still not sure what the limiting factor is. Whatever it is, it is more than enough for you to be able to get the feel of the game.
  19. I suspected something like that was the case but I didn't know for sure, thanks. I hadn't even realized that you can click on the map itself.
  20. I chose Brussels as my starting point but I'm starting to think that was a mistake. 99% of the available deliveries go from the Netherlands to the UK or vice versa and it's always the same few cities. (Never anything to the far north or far south of the UK and always seems to be to/from Rotterdam). The remaining 1% goes from the Netherlands to France or from somewhere in the UK to somewhere else in the UK. Nothing wrong with those countries but I'd really like to see something else now. Do I have to progress further first or .. ?
