    That's what I'd like to do but doing something in TDU2 at the wrong time seems to be able to set of a whole chain of events that can put you in trouble which is why I've done my exploring in rather slow cars until I got the Shelby Cobra Daytona which is faster and a really nice car.

    Just keep some music player going in the background. Much easier, I do it for every game I play.

    Where are you when you are trying to reach it? Map, menu, driving, house etc?

    Wait. It rains about every third or so day in game, which means about every 7th hour in real life. Go in your house and check the weather on the TV.

    Extract the original .2db file that you are trying to convert from the .bnk file that it goes in. Then choose that file in the "original file" field. Or uncheck "keep original filesize" and/or "keep file header" or whatever that says. That may have other consequenses though that I'm not really sure of.

    Mine has been that way before a few times. When I was playing I slowly got disconnected from everyone without noticing until AI drivers started showing up instead of real people. :confused: Hasn't happened for a long time now though, they might have done something about it in the patches.

    I think you should be asking "is it realistic or not", because if it's good is such an individual opinion that you will never get a good conclusive answer. My 2 cents though is that yes, it is good but it takes some getting used to.

    I read somewhere you go to your house, open your friends list and click "invite" on whoever you want to invite. Don't know for sure, haven't tried it. Just noticed there are a lot of "should" in that list. :hmmm:

    You know, that's the whole point of this game. You can't teleport to a road you haven't driven on yet and no shops or tuners will appear on your map until you have driven past them in game.

    It's up to every individual whether they like the sounds or not. I don't like the Scuderia sound but I don't like it in real life either. Its constant screaming like an F1 car was enough for me to get out of that car, at least until I can drive with a sequential gearbox and have control over the revs myself.

    Yeah I tried that and it works, although you still get the little camera icon where the text was supposed to be.

    I tried connecting to you many times to get the Lucky Jim spot, but it never worked. I saw you two times FMR and you were quite laggy to me. :/

    The pictures are encrypted because you can put them on the walls in your houses. This way, no one can replace them with less appropriate pictures and put them in their houses in stead.
