SMS have started working on the first DLC cars this week. THey plan to continue developing the game for a further 2 years. I wouldn't be surprised if AC have similar plans. Not much point starting a petition on that imo. Remember it's the publishers who generally dictate when devs have to stop working on a game and move on to something new.

I'd recommend you go all nerdy and benchmark before and after installing a second card (when this is supported, of course... doesn't your motherboard also have to support SLI+Xfire?)... some games just don't take enough advantage of multiple GPUs (experienced firsthand when I had a 9800GX2) and I still see similar complaints on forums for todays' games. The extra power required and heat generated by the second card may also mean that the fans spin up more and the card detunes itself on the fly. Of course if you've got awesome cooling and wanted to get a second 980 then power to you! (People with this tend to run triple screens though).

So they made the new TT look more like the R8, and now it appears they've made the new R8 look more like the TT. I assume this new one is using Hurracan parts now. Meh Hopefully the Spyder looks more speshul

Yeah I can't see this being a big thing. At best you'll get some young kids who just want the free games that come with two different cards. You only really go SLI if you've already got the best single graphics card available already (and deep pockets).

Well done, Jim. Surprised you went with EVGA after it was revealed they used an old cooler that didn't make complete contact with the heatsink pipes (unless of course they've since changed that). I'm also tempted by the 980 but prices haven't really dropped and I kinda want to wait for the next version (be it a 980 Ti or 1080).
