So I've put my incredible Photoshop skills to some use by creating the following poster for career mode:

If you want to join in, you can find the list events that need imagery below. Go for the ones that aren't hyperlinked (done). I or someone else can submit them for you. You get the satisfaction of having directly made something in a AAA game that all players will see. My plan is to do the RUF RGT next which may feature a certain duck.
General guidelines
When posting the images of your submissions, there will typically be a few iterations required to process forum feedback. Once you post the final art, be sure to mark this post with the text 'FINAL SUBMISSION', along with the name of the event that the artwork is for. Use the name from the PDF. For example 'FINAL SUBMISSION - GT3 AP TROPHY'.
Do not include artwork for multiple events in a single post.
The post must contain the artwork for the Poster and the Icon for the specified event.
All artwork files must be saved as layered photoshop documents (.psd) to allow for further adjustments, and attached as a zip file to the post containing the final submission.
All files must conform the naming structure as seen in the PDF file, e.g. GT4_US_Trophy.psd
Posters
Format: Square
Dimensions in-game: max. 632*632 px
Emphasis: Conveying the feel of a real world event poster.
Use of language: The event name must be in English as per the PDF list. Additional localized text is allowed for events that play off in a single non-english country.
Icons
Format: Square
Emphasis: High visibility and readability of the event name. Focus on text!
Content
All content must be royalty free for commercial use.
All vehicle and location images must be from the game, when showing images of cars and tracks as the primary art on the posters. It's fine to use non-game art in the background, providing it's royalty free for commercial use.
Feel free to use fantasy sponsorships on the posters, as found on the in-game cars that take part in the events.
Content "DON'Ts"
DON'T use real-world brand logos, manufacturer logos or any other existing real-world logos.
DON'T use track names, unless it's a single location event, e.g. END_GT_Nordschleife_12H.
DON'T use any copyright protected materials, e.g. fonts/typefaces.
DON'T use any external links (URLs etc).
