  1. Thanks guys. We overtake (or undertake) by necessity, as few people obey the (rarely enforced) "Keep left unless overtaking" law that applies to all multi-lane roads with a speed limit higher than 80kph. Since it's peak hour traffic and they believe they're going fast enough they don't bother to move over. From where the camera is you can see overtaking opportunities a lot better than what I can see from my seat.
  2. Someone obviously doesn't want me to have any chance of winning :cheeky:
  3. Guess whose video finished uploading and processing? :cheeese: 1080p there for those who want to see my Melbourne commute in all it's whatever ;) GT5 music on the radio, couple of overtaking bits at the start of the motorway, an M3 who was in a hurry but never seemed to get far ahead despite all his lane changes, Melbourne CBD (city) near the end, a slow Alfa in front of me, then parking and the reverse camera I installed the other day right at the end. Stuck the GoPro camera to the passenger window for a better view (passengers perspective I guess). Let me know what you think.
  4. Yeah - I also preferred the Be a cop mode on PSX to PC as well (although the PC version had other fun versions mostly as well, but the PSX one was my fav. Used to spend a bit of time in the pursuit Caprice on that Canadian track. If worse comes to worse I've already got pre-recorded NFS HS videos from previous times I've played it. I don't feel like (re)installing another OS just to play the game again.
  5. Bently Maserati And for Millena, a Nissan Silvia
  6. I was wondering what track that was I saw in that NSX Concept video. Cool.
  7. So far I have: Installed RBR Installed RSRBR 2012 Installed the track and car pack Launched RSRBR Centre and registered (am not happy about how it sends my password in clear text in the URL and emails it back to me). So I guess all that's left to be done is just connect up the wheel and play the game now? I think there's more than enough content there for now and am not too worried about extra updates to further confuse things.
  8. I keep running Autonrun.exe and Setup.exe but nothing happens after the UAC prompt. (Process just idles). Maybe I'll turn UAC off and reboot.
  9. I guess you never looked at sites like these back in the day: http://www.gamewinners.com/playstation/NeedForSpeedHighStakes.htm  Back then you also had quite a few differences between the PC and PSX versions. PC had the better graphics and mods, PSX had some extra cool features though, and NFS3 had a bunch of bonus tracks (that you could only access with cheat codes) that were only available on the PSX. On PC the handling was fairly similar to NFS3. I didn't like the NFS3 handling on a keyboard - I reckon NFS2SE was much better. NFS5 was somewhat similar to NFS2's sim handling. Anyway I'm going to try and get this installed on my PC again now:
  10. I didn't know you were able to close threads. *Unlocks*
  11. I like clever AR videos, but don't really get this one. I suppose SkyRim is some sort of WoW style game.
  12. Yours isn't 1.34GB I presume (1080p).
  13. Love how everyone's videos are uploading faster than mine :)
  14. Not many of you had NFS 2, but let's see how we go with 3 and 4: http://forum.tdu-central.com/threads/27398-Retro-Gaming-3-4-Need-for-Speed-III-and-IV-High-Stakes?p=452040#post452040
  15. Since these two games were fairly similar (all the NFS3 tracks are in NFS4, plus NFS4 should be easier to install on modern computers since NFS3 doesn't support 64-bit) I'll combine these two together. Play either one or both - but make sure you participate and post pics/videos and rate the game. NFS4 iirc also supported modding and with an extensive mod still supports online multiplayer. I think Andreaz is more up to date with all that jazz so I'll hand the mic over to him to post links and tutorials.
  16. Brazil's a pretty big place y'know.
  17. At least it didn't go completely unnoticed :D
  18. I suppose it's about time I get the next Retro Gaming thread up and running - hopefully the slightly more modern games will be more accessible and easier to install. :)
  19. Remember what you said yesterday about that 2%? :cheeese:
  20. Shall I make an appointment with AA for you?
  21. We all know it was you Tom (creating a second account) :cheeky:
  22. Nice. We need to see that road you're always talking about where you drive as fast as you want.
