Not ordering anything until I know what it's actually like on PC Gamepad steering on FM6 Apex was awful

They broke VR performance and the Xbox One gamepad, can't remember what else I've read on it

They basically introduced a new 'proxy' service for webcams to allow sharing with multiple programs using a modern codec, and broke 90% of the older webcams out there that use an older codec, including their own Microsoft cameras from last decade. (Webcams haven't really improved much in the last 8 years so no reason to upgrade them). Then they didn't announce the change at all so none of their Windows Insider folks realised or reported it.

Why wouldn't you just make a shortcut to shutdown -s -t 00 instead? Also there's still quite a few issues with the update being reported so I personally wouldn't recommend it just yet if you use the PC for gaming or webcam stuff, etc.

I believe under Steam Tools there would be an app called Dedicated server. The host would typically run and configure the app, then run the game and join his own server. Just like the console version, I don't think you can create a lobby in-game.

Every second mark is a facelift. 1-2 are similar, 3-4 are pretty similar as well. Not a fan of the steering wheel shape/size. I guess the GTI one will be smaller. I'd be more interested in the 7 here if the larger satnav were available. VW Aus have said no to importing it.

So Mike thinks the Tesla is boring. Well, compared to a La Ferrari, it certainly is. But if all we had available right now were the current crop of electric/hydrogen -only cars, I can't think of anything better (mostly due to the interior and straight-line performance). In the corners it's going to be boring, but I can't remember the last time I "went for a drive". It's been months since I last went for a ride. So, if we suddenly couldn't drive any car with a petrol/diesel/chip oil -fueled engine, what takes your fancy as a daily driver? If you want you can also mention a hybrid vehicle in addition to (not instead of) an electric-only or hydrogen-only vehicle.

It's just easy to pickup for a spare 30 or so minutes most nights. It came out a year ago.

NMS has been more humm drum in last few hours and RL swings from great fun to very frustrating multiple times per hour. :) Also Project CARS PS4 league races each Sunday night which are tough work but good fun. Currently 2nd in the tournament with 2 races to go.

The biggest problem is that it almost certainly will not work with my steering wheel. So it could be the best GT ever and I wouldn't see the point of getting it. It seems that the 'best' PS4 wheel right now is still the Thrustmaster T300 which doesn't look that good. Not compared to what I currently have. And yet my wheel works just fine on PS4 in Project CARS only because they took the effort (and ignored the politics) to support it, which just makes it so much more insulting for GT and DriveClub. Reminds me of my 2008 system. I literally RMA'd every major part and became a nuisance to the shop. Tests found no errors bu the system would just freeze at random. None of the parts ended up being faulty per se, just the brand/model of RAM was incompatible with my motherboard/CPU. So I sold the Corsair RAM back to the shop at a loss and purchased some G.Skill RAM instead and the system still runs solid as a rock to this day being used by a friend who does iRacing on triple screens with a G27. Incidentally after 2 Corsair SSD's have also failed on me I'll never buy another Corsair product again. If your local PC parts shop has a flat fee 'troubleshooting' service I'd consider making this their problem.
