  1. EA must've worked out that LAN games = 1 copy purchase and copied for the other computers in the LAN. Write whatever they want in the license agreement, but I see no reason to buy a game more than once for the same household - it's not exactly an operating system or MS Office. That's where console gaming was more appealing, when there was split-screen at least.
  2. There you go - I fixed it for ya
  3. I know that, but don't they still have siblings? :)
  4. All members who follow the rules, contribute constructively, and have fun are all ace simply legendary in our books.
  5. I'm not even sure if we can call it a game anymore. I'm not sure it's a sim either? We'll save the verdict for after the release I guess.
  6. No - the new thread was merged into this one
  7. Oh well, it's still the best looking Yaris I've ever seen :p /ot
  8. *just found out what *ML stands for*
  9. Well, that was my only reason for getting the game on X360. It's a shame - I thought split-screen was making a comeback when Blur and Split Second both featured it (even on PC). I'm guessing no LAN either? In which case I'll be getting it on Steam probably.
  10. Nice pics - just joined your new site too Got any more pics of that car?
  11. Voted for Ozz (was that NFS World or Undercover or Shift)? I first thought it was Blur but then saw 'Connecting to EA Nation'
  12. +1 t. My comment was more or less me trying to work out if I should get the game on my PC or X360. The X360 means I have split screen available, and get to play with a different group of friends (besides Mellors by the sounds of it). But then the PC version will almost certainly be cheaper by $20-$50, look a tiny bit better, will allow me to record footage with Fraps, play with my preferred screen, use Buttkicker, and other pointless stuff that no-one else here cares about. TDU2 has interior view, police, and airfields (pretty sure everyone already knows that), so if NFS just happens to be great fun, then that's a bonus. Burnout Paradise didn't need an interior view because the cars weren't real. NFS shouldn't really handle like Burnout, but I think we all realise that it does, and we just have to deal with that, and I have to go hunting for my X360 controller for Windows :) /Possibly last 'blue' post
  13. I wouldn't like the task of trying to keep that dust-free. There's also a place in your UserCP where you can input your PC specs for all to see if you like.
  14. Hehe - reading that I was expecting something like this: I hope that cop was wearing his brown pants - I would've been pooping myself (you'll know what I'm referring to when you see it).
  15. NFS HP2 had convertibles with no interior view. No interior view = no G25 support (i.e. physics to suit it) = do I really want to spend $60+ on this game?
  16. Looks more like Windows 7 to me - which is actually rather excellent. Vista only worked well if you had a very fast PC, but compared to 7 it is rubbish. The best thing about Vista was that it forced a lot of people to upgrade their PCs, which helped bring down the price of the hardware.
  17. What about rule #7? In fact - please read all the rules again carefully.
  18. I'm sure the Catylyst control center has something similar - go look for it
  19. You can force up to 32x AA (if your gfx card can handle it) in the nVidia Control Panel, available by right-clicking the desktop.
  20. It's getting better slowly - I'm sure it'll be much better by the time it releases
  21. Funny, that's how I feel after breakfast as well :o
  22. *is curious* - I might have to get a new graphics card first though
