    That's good to hear you're still working on it - I've played around with those ini files too - but there's just so much tedious editing to do for them. If you do get successful with it, can you please make note of what you changed so that the same changes can be made to the HDR one (without changing everything so that there is no more HDR)?

    Well I'd like a fix for that too - sure we have a night mode that makes the sky black - but you still have the sun lighting up everything - especially with HDR on.

    Some cars that aren't proper manual transmission don't work with it (ie flappy paddel gearbox cars). Try using it with a proper manual + clutch car and see if it works.

    Those photos were taken a long time back on my old PC Most of my photos are here. Sort by date to get the ones taken on my new PC down the bottom together. Use the DL links at the top left to get 1440x900 version. I otherwise post my pics to the official European TDU forum.

    XFX nVidia GeForce 9800 GX2 System specs on the left I play TDU at 1440x900 (due to monitor size) with 32x AA and 32x AF Supersampling forced and get between 80-120 FPS

    I wonder if you could also play with the texture editor to get rid of the R&R logo on the truck for your movie, leadfoot you cannot escape my suggestions :)

    Yes it does switch (one of the ini files has a number you can edit to speed up or slow down the time scale of day/night). Some of my older night pics: And some pics from when I was editing my own version of the weather files to see what effects I'd get:

    horny sound - lol Whats the name of the club, I might be interested in joining after I do some Inter-club races with Leadfoot using my current club. If everyone in the pursuit club switched the horn to a siren it would work. I've organised pursuit thingo's in the past too. Otherwise anyone who does have a long mp3 of a siren please upload it

    Looks nice, but why do you have to put it on RapidShare - there are so many other places you can use that don't make you wait 45 secs to download stuff. ie - www.mybloop.com - Unlimited online space - each file must be under 1GB

    I've always wanted to do a Mafia cruise (although I'm unable to play TDU in the next 2 weeks) - so keep us informed when you're doing it again. :)

    You have to be careful with that, Diablo. Having heaps of fonts can really slow down your PC and certain programs (esp. Adobe CS3).

    Does anything change when you go into the Carwash by swapping files with the Real Estate spot? If you recorded that and put it on YouTube with the Car Wash song, you could attract a bit more attention to your fantastic mods :) Keep up the great work. As soon as I replace my faulty mobo on this new PC I'll be using some of these mods for sure. Shame we have to use the bnk editors though. Maybe if I get some time I can make installers for these mods for you if you like using NSIS.

    Thanks for the link WROOM - got the files (and a couple of others) - now just have to see if I can get it to work later on when I have more time. Takes ages to re-install all my stuff when I get a new PC :)

    Same here - I even tried signing up since I thought the content might be only for registered users - still nothing on the site at all - see attached screenshot. Can't someone just link to the actual zip/rar/exe file that contains the mod please?

    Hi everyone I'm a TDU PC Hardcore mode fan with a G25 looking for more people to cruise with in the mornings (evening Australian time) since the official Atari EU forums are dying a slow and painful death. I'm into IT and music production and love driving as well, with a large racing game collection to go along with that. Currently drive a white AE92 Toyota Corolla 1.6L TwinCam which is nice and light, not particularly fast but is still good fun in the twisties since I've put some nice grippy tyres on it. Haven't touched it besides darkest legal window tinting and the obligatory MP3/WMA CD player.

    Pencil me in for PC as well. You have holidays on Feb 13? That's like my 2nd week of TAFE for the whole year - holidays are at the last week of March and 1st week of April.
