Can't remember what the situation with GFWL was. I think you needed a Silver account to sign into, and only need Gold if it was cross platform. RL will not be cross platform on XBL fortunately.

The only good thing is (the assumed) improved wheel support (not just Xbox branded ones). I still probably wouldn't pick up FM__ at full MS Store retail price but might be tempted by FH3 if it's great.
