    I'm with you on that, but I think they've taken that a little too far based on playing the last beta. It's as if they are funnelling player into completing Skills challenges to upgrade their car and keep it (and maybe a small collection) until the end of the story. If you watch the videos of those who complete core missions the payout is pitiful compared to the price. So yeah, work hard for great cars, but buying a simple hatchback shouldn't take hours of fundraising. iirc repeating events gives lower rewards.

    The odometer resets each time you start the game. The ignition sound loop only occurs in cockpit/bumper/hood cameras but is super annoying.

    Interesting that this time around in the tutorial I could see other players (both in tutorial and normal cars) and could complete skill changes. I was tempted to just go cruising.

    They're changing FFB in each build with a view to improving the G27 specifically without killing the other wheels. Nice of the devs to keep us informed to such a technical degree

    They're all done; you're too late. My McLaren poster was literally the last one. It'll just be harder to find in game since it's an invitational event.

    So now you've probably seen where other players have been... so what areas of the map do you want to check out next week? For me, the plan is * More time in the snowy mountains * Find the salt flats * Complete an east coast trip (north to south) - possibly extending to a whole lap of the island * Find more race tracks * Be involved with a large tduck cruise. * Get a friend to be chased by the police while I help the police in trying to stop him + vice versa

    Well generally the distinction is in the choice of which road to take and which direction, as opposed to driving on a circuit. Going offroad is just a bonus that may simply prevent people from crashing into barriers as much. I don't think that many people went cross country in TDU1 (I did a fair bit I'll admit) maybe we should kinda sort of get back on topic now :lol:
