Saturday 8 September shall be TDU1 Appreciation day on PC (hurry up and reinstall now if you have to, don't worry about mods too much). The aim is to have as many people join as possible so the session will go for most of the day and we'll drop in & out as circumstances and timezones dictate. Please indicate what times you can join when you sign-up below: The long session should allow for various styles of gameplay in various cars so I won't define anything in here. Doesn't justify the server costs. Need to organise some cruises now. Also, fixed the first post

S (Sport mode) used to be underneath. Then on the nav system the buttons say Radio, Media, Phone, Voice, Nav, Traffic, *Car*, Setup. Not sure what Car is for, might replace old MFD settings. Also don't like the side mirror controls facing that way similar to the current Jetta, found it harder to move the mirrors precisely compared to it's current orientation on the Mk6 Golf. Hard to tell but is the accelerator pedal not coming up from the floor this time? Climatronic buttons in a row along the top as before, hard to get the one you want sometimes. Below in the middle dial they also have a Setup button???

Forget the below since everyone else has :fp: I figure now's as good a time as any to start looking for new PC components but I might see if you have any recommendations Height must be less than 485mm Length/Depth should be long enough to fit a nVidia 680GTX 4GB (275mm) USB3 Decent cooling, prefer no window this time, or a case with a switch to turn off LEDs. No PSU, will BYO. 2 first lines are most important, if you have any suggestions will be happy to consider them. My current case is an original Antec 900 from 2008. Excessively heavy and bright (LEDs) and noisy, but it was the correct dimensions and offered good cooling.

They're easily created in Photoshop, etc and then you just share the files online, then save into the \CustomLiveries folder. Might only be one custom slot for each car at this stage, been a while since I downloaded one.

I rarely have to touch my 7" RNS510 already while driving, besides changing audio sources (FM radio, HDD, DVD, SD Card, USB, Bluetooth) everything I do is via the steering wheel buttons or voice control.

Besides Audi, BMW, Mercedes I don't know of any other hatch-backs that are spec'ed as well as the Golf. i30 is probably the only car that comes close (that comes to mind), but from what I've heard that's just new gadgets draped on top of what's basically a 10 year old car design/framework underneath. I also heard an Australian Hyundai senior exec mention on TV that their R&D work on DSG gearboxes due to the extra fuel efficiency + sportiness provided and hope to see it next year, 10 years after it appeared in the 2003 VW Mk4 Golf R32. lol, might've gone a bit /ot there :)

I still only have 4GB, the final render may take a bit longer but performance while editing has never been as issue while working with multiple HD sources.

By the time we all need 32GB of RAM you'll want to build a new PC anyway :) Beemer looks much classier than the Civic, not sure how reliable old BMWs are though, and how expensive to fix...
